During an appearance on the Bubba the Love Sponge radio show Thursday morning, Hulk Hogan personally told Kurt Angle they should work a program together in TNA with Angle putting the "red, white, and blue" back on and turning face. The Olympic gold medalist concurred and said he could make it happen.
During Hogan's in-studio appearance alongside Brian Knobs, Bubba called Angle to discuss wrestling and women with the WWE Hall of Famer. After Hogan and Angle discussed the idea of Hogan coming to the organization to "turn this thing around," Bubba called TNA president Dixie Carter, but received her voice-mail. Bubba then played fantasy booker by laying out an elaborate plan the two could work in TNA, with both approving.
Bubba later trashed TNA creative writer Vince Russo, naming him the "cancer of the wrestling industry." Hogan added he hasn't seen Russo since the day "Russo was fired from WCW." As many of you know, Hogan and Russo aren't exactly on the greatest terms considering Hogan felt Russo double-crossed him and went into business for himself during an infamous incident at the Bash at the Beach pay-per-view in 2000.
Hogan's radio show appearance was not without WWE discussion as he re-told the story of getting ready to face John Cena at WrestleMania earlier this year, but being forced to cancel as a result of back surgery.
"Nasty Boy" Knobs was on the show promoting his all-new wrestling academy in Florida. The former WWF tag team champion said he's charging those interested $100 to work out and is holding try-outs every Saturday this month.

Kurt Angle and Hulk Hogan already had a program and wrestled at King of the Ring 2002. Nobody cared then and nobody would care now.

Like Hogan or not if you love TNA then you would want Hogan to sign because if anyone can make that product go places it has not gone before it is Hogan. I am glad Hogan has made his interest public and I hope TNA get in talks with him soon.
Hogan in TNA could be huge.

A one nighter just to pop the ratings wouldn't be bad.. but nothing long term. I was thinking maybe 3 TNA shows just promos and then one PPV match and if they have success with that sign Hogan upto a long term deal. If he makes TNA more money and the odd fan does not like him but most of the world do which is why ratings and buyrates go up then he will be signed by TNA.

Then Bicshoff will be in TNA and all of Hogan's little buddys will be in TNA aswell as Bischoffs buddys. No thanks. Hogan might be good for ratings/buyrates.. but he's not good for a company as far as young guys & politics go.

Hogan never helped many younger superstars in WCW but they had a lot of money TNA does not have that much money and I think Hogan would really like to help TNA. I mean it looks better for him made WWE a monster same for WCW and does the same for TNA? Maybe Hogan needs to know if he can help TNA?

To be honest, it wouldn't kill TNA. At least look at it; do you see Hogan being as bad as Jenna Morasca? Okay, bit of a biased comparison, but I could see them putting on a FAIR match. If Hogan only wrestled once and passed the torch to Angle and then dissappeared from TNA, I'd be chuffed. But this would kill Hogan being in WWE as far as I'm concerned.

No, they don't have "WCW's money" but they still have a good chunk of moeny..

The thing is if Hogan came to TNA and lost but made TNA money and did a good TNA PPV buyrate they would want to sign him to another deal.

THis is just Hogan being Hogan and trying to peak WWE's intrest by going "Vince, I'll go to TNA.. they'll sign me unless you beat 'em to the punch".

Bottom line If Hogan gets in you can gurantee he will use his leverage to get Russo out, and im all for ing Russo over. I say bring Hogan have him put some guys over and send him home. All i care about is Hogan getting Russo canned.

Yeah! LETS FIRE HIM!

Russo doesn't deserve a job in the lowest indy fed in the world, let alone a mainstream company. Get him out and get someone like D'amore in there!
