1. TNA Impact always sucks when I watch it!
Wrestling fans are the only ones dumb enough to watch something that they hate. In every other television drama if the viewer doesn’t like what they see, they don’t watch the show. The last time I watched Raw, it was horrible. That was almost a month and a half ago.
2. There’s not enough wrestling on the show
Wrestling doesn’t draw fans. The facts are that wrestling is the backbone of the show but it is only part of the show. TNA books for ratings! When ratings increase, ad money increases which leads to more eventual money for them. People watch TV to be entertained and intrigued which a lot of the time, it happens. I like wrestling as much as any other fan and think it should have an integral part on Impact. However, fans attention spans are short and the longer a match lasts, the bigger chance the viewer gets bored and changes the channel. That’s why TNA’s matches are much shorter, people care about story and finish. On a side note TNA features between 25-40 minutes every week, which is much better than the past. I personally would like TNA to have longer matches with more drama!
3. TNA never pushes the young guys
Matt Morgan, Eric Young, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Hernandez, Bobby Lashley, Suicide, the Knockouts, Beer Money etc etc. Just because the young guys aren’t world champion doesn’t mean they aren’t being pushed. People don’t realize the difference between today and old school wrestling. Today when the stars are thrust onto TV they are still developing their skills. In the old school days the wrestlers were much more experiences and ready when they were given titles and opportunities.
4. TNA is the 40+ club filled with old guys
Make a list of the top ten talkers in TNA. Be realistic! Isn’t it true that your list consists of Mick Foley, Kevin Nash, Jeff Jarrett, Kurt Angle and Brother Ray? While the older guys aren’t what they used to be in the ring (which is a weird lie since nobody is worse than they were in 2000) they offer experience, knowledge and great mic skills. Finally they offer name value which elevates the young guys when they are beaten.
5. There are too many WWE Rejects in the company
Let’s eliminate potential stars just because they worked for WWE. Almost every talent that was signed after WWE either has something to offer and some sort of potential. Matt Morgan, Elijah Burke, Bobby Lashley and so many others could be great for TNA in the future.
6. TNA should push the X Division
You need to realize that the X Division is overrated (at least 2002’s version). The reason it was so big in the pioneer days is because TNA wasn’t big enough to garner bigger stars. The main event consisted of Jeff Jarrett, Raven and Ron Killings in the early days. Today you have a deep main event roster that in every way is bigger than the X Division.
That doesn’t mean the X Division doesn’t have something to offer, because they do. They are a special attraction filled with stuntmen. Until the stars break out of the X Division do they become bigger stars. Until Samoa Joe and Daniels returned to the division, nobody cared. It was Suicide and a bunch of poorly treated, glorified jobbers. They need more attention but they can never be as big as they once were recognized as.
7. TNA is WWE-Lite
WWE is overly acted crap on Monday Nights. Had they not built such a big audience over the years, they would be in big trouble. Raw is like Dora, Sesame Street and others for the kids. It’s great for them but not for any self-respected adult. TNA is faster paced, and has a deeper product with more storylines focused on older demographics.
8. TNA is just like WCW 2000
WCW in 2000 is underrated and overtrashed. It was hemorrhaging money and needed to stop the bleed. Unfortunately they put a band-aid on a severed limb.
9. I can’t tell who I am supposed to cheer for and who I am supposed to boo
In other words you want someone to hold your hand and tell you what to do. If you aren’t enough of an independent thinker to determine that yourself, you should watch WWE! (DISCLAIMER: I am in no way trying to insult the kids who watch WWE because the product is made for them)
10. The storylines are confusing
You’re an idiot! Just because things aren’t overly acted doesn’t mean they are confusing. WWE is more of an in your face product while TNA is more subtle. You have to think when you watch TNA, and you have to connect the dots.
11. Suicide is a horrible character from a crappy selling videogame
Suicide is well liked among the children TNA fans. His shirts sell very well and he is very popular. The TNA Videogame sold very well but couldn’t hold Midway above water.
12. There are too many gimmick matches
TNA likes to do things different. Didn’t someone just complain that TNA is WWE-Lite, yet WWE does do all these things differently? To keep the viewers attention there has to be a reason they tune in.
13. PPVs shouldn’t be used to build up Impact
Yes they should! Unlike WWE, TNA makes its money from Impact therefore they need to cater to that show and that audience. When TNA hypes Impact from PPVS it is to tease and get the fans excited for upcoming shows.
14. The PPV Product is so bad that the buyrates are the lowest they have ever been
I am as reliable as PWTorch and these other sites and I say the buys aren’t down. Buys aren’t released to IWC media. Now the PPV Product in my opinion has on again, off again been lacking BUT that’s because TNA focuses on TV. With the possibility of TNA doing away with a lot of the Pay Per Views, that won’t matter.
15. TNA gives away too much without build or hype
It is to give an anything can happen on Impact type of build. Option A has the match being built very well and you get a small possible jump in the rating. The fans think that every time something big will happen, TNA will hype the hell out of it. Option B has the moment/match being a surprise, catching the viewer off guard. TNA does this enough then they build a fanbase who will constantly come back knowing that TNA doesn’t always hype major moments, and they think I can’t miss the show or I might miss something big.
16. Impact Ratings are stagnant
It wasn’t until recently that TNA hit 1.3s on a regular basis. TNA does between a 1.0 and 1.3 every week which they didn’t before. Look at the Quarter Ratings for every year and you will see a steady rise.
17. Those episode titles are stupid
TNA is wrestling’s version of House, 24, Lost and Prison Break all rolled into one. It is a drama and will remain that. Some people complain about such tiny little things.
18. TNA should go back to 2006 when they were so successful
Unfortunately the ratings started to bottom out in 2006 which is why a creative change was made. The facts are if you want to truly make a difference and you truly hate the show, stop watching the show, the ratings might drop and TNA will change things around.

My response to the points above.
1. Not me i tuned out a long time ago. I have not watched a full impact since the Mem trash started, and i won't until it is over and nash is behind the scene or gone.
2. So they shouldn't be an alternative to wwe they should use be diet wwe? I started watching TNA in 2003 for the sole reason that i wanted to see another ECW, a product with MAJOR emphasis on wrestling! The complete opposite of wwe.
3. Its called branding, TNA should really look into it. Noone with a wwe track record should ever be made to look better than a Tna homegrown. Would vince bring AJ in and have him go over Cena?
4. I don't want to see great talkers in TNA, i want to see that when i watch wwe. I used to watch TNA to see top notch wrestlers. Something noone in the MEM can provide us with.
5. Agreed, if they are young and their best days are ahead of them go for it!
6. A giant go yourself to the writer of this. The x division is what garnered TNA a ing fanbase. Do you think we watched for Jarrett? If the x division was their focus it would completely set their product apart from the wwe's. Nobody cares about the x guys anymore because TNA jobs them out and gives them wrestlecrap characters.
7. WWE gives us so much better of both an entertainment and wrestling product, when was the last time Tna has given us a rey/morrison quality match?
8. oh but it is.
9. i guess i can live with this, but i prefer a clear distinction.
10. oh but they are and nonsensical.
11. he was becoming interesting but they pulled the plug.
12. wayyyyyy too many.
13. i don't care.
14. No, tna does horrible buyrates and will continue until they get a track record again for giving us quality wrestling.
15. they do, sad. no reason to be excited for a ppv.
16. 1.3 not impressive
17. really stupid and corny.
18. no 2004-05.
Im not anti Tna by any means but am only interested in watching another wrestling product if its an alternative. When i watch Tna i want to see something totally different than wwe. Thats why i enjoyed ECW so much, it was a distinct product that catered to fans who were unhappy with wwe's product.
