Hi All
Here is my first ever custom. I attempted to make a Dolph Ziggler. I have matched the attire to a photo i found of him on his WWE profile. I am guessing it is from when he first came onto the scene as there he only wore single black tape around his wrists. and there is absolutely no detail on his tights. Which made it very easy. Im not skilled enough to paint his logo on the back. Maybe with some training on spare parts i might be able to but i defo wasn't prepared to ruin this figure trying. I have also bought some decal paper so that could be an option also.
I used sculpey for his hair. Failed miserably trying to attach hair from other figures so just added some sculpey and it seemed to come out alright. Im not totally convinced of the hair color but i tried so many different shades it was the one i liked the most.
I have also included a snap of one of the other Dolph heads i have made. That one has a slightly different hair mold.
Please feel free to comment. Like i said it is my first custom so i was never expecting to set the world alight especially as i am sportsman and am not blessed with many skills when it comes to arts and crafts.
Finally the hair is not as grey as it looks in the photos. Lighting seems to have made it look a little weird.
Thank you for all the kind words. It has given me the slightest bit of confidence to share my latest work.
Customs #2 and #3.
They are both Macho Man - i would like to point out that i call these my customs of jthomps3's customs. I purchased several of his awesome Savages and basically copied the beard and hair 100%. Everything else is my own creations (as you will see by the sub standard quality when compared to jthomps3's work).
Both attires are made up. Started off trying to do one he wore in the WCW but struggled to much. The bandana is made out of sculpey. It is painted green, blue and white and then smeared to make it look more bandana-ish.
I would like to introduce a new feature to my thread. Its basically +1 me if you like what you see or feel free to -1 if you don't.
Lastly, my camera has a big crack which is effecting picture quality and some of the paint is still a bit wet as you can see in the pictures.
Enjoy...
Now go ahead and +1 me if you like what you see or -1 if you don't
