Pretty much. How though, I haven't a clue? Maybe have him join forces with Orton (not Legacy) to take them out (due to the overwhelming popularity DX are compared to Cena). |

Have him say "I quit" at the PPV and want a rematch where orton kicks out of the atitude adjustment and cena attakcs the ref. From then on he will be super pissed on RAW to the point where he attacks everybody making him a monster-like heel.

DiBiase/Rhodes leave Legacy after getting fedup with Orton. During a match between Orton/Cena and Cena join Orton and beat down Legacy

well i think a cena turn WOULD have been huge a year ago. I wish Cena could have kept up the momentum of being unbeatable on PPV and Wrestlemania, all the time being love-hated. If he had kept it up and not got injured (and then jobbed to Batista at SS last year) he could have faced Undertaker at Mania' (i would have been shitting myself cena would win but thats what a lot would have thought because he is super cena, thus adding to the mania moment).
Failing that, a showdown with Hogan or Jeff Hardy or the best option being a showdown with The Rock. They could do it as a Worked Shoot.

in my one of my ewr's back a while ago, i had him sell-out to vince mcmahon, and had him face austin in his last match at wrestlemania 25

Three years ago. But in all seriousness, as much as it would add more fuel to the "ROCK WANNABE~!" bandwagon, I'd love to see a new Corporate Champion-style character in the form of Cena. Hell, he's the golden child posterboy already, so it wouldn't exactly be stretching the truth, right?  |

I would have him lose at a ppv, where the next night cena would be in his home town, against a top heel like Orton. I wouldnt have him lose cleanly either, id have him beat down by legacy in the ring when the ref is out cold letting rhodes and dibiase gain some serious heat.
Orton pins a bloody and battered Cena and moves on with his path going on against anyone.
Cena comes out to Raw the next night, no music no big entrance, just walks down the ramp and lets rip on the fans.
I'd have Cena say how he know that he appeals to only the toothless kid in the nose bleeds and how hes sick of being that guy. How hes sick of being told he cant wrestle and how hes sick of being the only ones standing up to legacy.
DX comes down lights flashing and all and start trying to joke with cena how hes still young and do the typical DX joking around. At this point Cena is obviously frustrated and cuts HHH down with a blow to the head with the microphone.
HBK then turns to react to cena but is met with a hard take down quickly followed by the stfu.
throughout the night Cena heads backstage being confronted by babyfaces about why he did it. being looked down upon by the locker room however guys like jericho and orton applaud him.
Cena comes down during the main event and sits with king and cole and starts talking trash about the HBK in the ring against Orton. HBK gets the win at which point cena enters with a chair and repeatedly hits him time and time again until the higher ups like mcmahon comes down and security does too. Cena takes the chair to vinnie mac much like orton took out mcmahon setting up HHH vs Cena which could also lead to feuds with HBK due the the whole "now i have to job to Cena" remark at wrestlemania 23.
just a rough idea.

The people that boo Cena boo him for a reason - making him the Corporate Champ is the best way to keep those same booable attributes. These ideas to turn him heel by making him a super bad-ass or a rapper don't make any sense to me. |
