With all the news and events recently, this event has gotten lost in the shuffle. IT IS TONIGHT. And the Ultimate Fighter X begins right after this Main Card Bouts: Nate Diaz vs. Melvin Guillard Roger Huerta vs. Gray Maynard Carlos Condit vs. Jake Ellenberger Nate Quarry vs. Tim Credeur
Preliminary Card Bouts: Steve Cantwell vs. Brian Stann III Chris Wilson vs. Mike Pyle Jay Silva vs. CB Dollaway Sam Stout vs. Phillipe Nover Jeremy Stephens vs. Justin Buchholz Brock Larson vs. Mike Pierce Ryan Jensen vs. Steve Steinbeiss

I really wish some of the preliminary fights were bumped to the main card. Cantwell-vs- Stann should be mindless fun. I'd like to see Stout take on Nover as well. Two sluggers witht heir backs to the wall, trying to keep their job. Could be a fun fight.

I think the two main event fights should be great fights. I'd like to see Maynard win this, especially since Huerta doesn't want to fight anymore. If Huerta gets his head in the game and rededicates himself, I'd like to see him go far.

I think it should be a great night of fights. I'll pick Guillard, Huerta, Condit and Quarry in the main fights.
As for the Prelims, here's who I'll go with there: Cantwell, Mike Pyle, Jay Silva, Sam Stout, Jeremy Stephens, Brock Larson, and finally, Ryan Jensen.
It's too bad Huerta is leaving though. He's a great fighter with a TON of potential. I don't see him doing much in movies however, thus, I see him eventually returning to the UFC at some point for sure.

Man...Nover vs. Stout just sounds like such a fun fight. I would love to see that one..
Nate Diaz vs. Melvin Guillard- Kind of a toss up. Guillard has unbelievable power. He has just about as much muscle as humanly possible to pack on to a 155 body. He is explosive and very exciting. But the Diaz brothers are known for having pretty solid chins. Guillard hates being on his back(or just on the ground in general)...but I think with his raw power he will be able to escape any submission attempts. I am going with the underdog on this one and say that Guillard will win this and send Diaz packing out of the UFC.
Roger Huerta vs. Gray Maynard- Roger Huerta has quickly become one of my favorite fighters...but the guy doesn't have his heart in it anymore and it is quite evident by his performance against Florian..that is a fight he could have won. But his mind is somewhere else and I think he is quietly just awaiting for his contract to be over so that he can go follow his dream and become an actor. Maynard will lay n pray his way to a decision. Carlos Condit vs. Jake Ellenberger- Condit is very exciting. Good on the ground and striking. I see him winning this one by submission.
Nate Quarry vs. Tim Credeur- Tim has some great jiu jitsu..but his chin looks a little suspect to me and Nate has great power in his hands. Nate will never ever get close to another title shot ever again though...he is pretty one dimensional...still....after all these years.

Nover sucks. Hopefully he loses and gets cut ASAP.

Apparently, Nover suffered a seizure backstage and his fight is not happening now. He knew he was losing.

I just read that on Dana's Twitter, yea. I'm ing tired of hearing Nover's name. "Oh, he's the next big thing, blah blah." Gets schooled in his TUF Finale fight. Get (some say unjustly) stopped in his next fight. Now this "next Anderson Silva" is 0-2 in the UFC. Release him.

Such a good fight between Tim and Nate. Fight of the Night pretty much locked on. Ellenberger is impressing me in his first UFC fight, he deff does not have the Octagon jitters. I'm sure Condit will pull out a quick KO win.
I'm looking for Nate and Gray to pull off the wins. Nate needs this win.

Nate/Tim was awesome!!
Condit/Ellenberger was also very good. Maynard/Huerta was fun, but not as good as the other two.
Now....COME ON NATE!!!!
(Not a huge Nate fan, just despise Melvin!!)

Only missed one fight on the entire card as I had Larson winning. I thought I had picked Melvin to win the main event, but when I was checking my results I saw not only did I pick Nate I picked him to win by choke in the correct round and time.

Nate is the ing man. Guillard is a dumbsh*it for playing possum like that. Overconfidence with a dash of stupidity. I mean if you MUST play possum, at least do it well. Guillard ate both of Diaz's shots without blinking, waited a second or two, and THEN decided to pretend they hurt. Playing possum was a bad move, plus it was executed poorly, and followed by an even dumber move... shooting for a takedown after he was doing pretty well in standup. Enjoy that loss, Guillard... you earned it.

I officially like UFN's more than PPV's...
what a great card. Tim and Nate put on a great fight that was full of heart.
Huerta did exactly what I thought he would do...lose.
Guillard did pretty good in the standup..but as usual he made a stupid mistake...

I'm really glad Nate won his fight. I was getting worried about him losing three straight fights but he pulled out the win. He is growing to be one of my favorite fighters (even though I am not that much of fan of Nick).
