Would suck to see Taker go, but a WM send off would be nice with his streak intact. Absolutely, a great sendoff for a great career, bar none...

Jeff Hardy and Chris Jericho DVDs!
The Taker thing is sad though, it would suck to see him go.

Jeff Hardy needs his own DVD as he won't be returning to wrestling. Give Jericho one when he's finished wrestling or just about to.

I dunno how I feel about Taker leaving. I mean he's still great, but his gimmick is just so stale. Aslong as he put over a new person on the way out, I'll be fine with it. He'll never do that. That is why I will be more then happy to see him gone. If any one takes his winning steak too serious is him. Does he know that its planned ahead that he wins each year? lol

I don't think his streak should be touched. Remember all the amazing Undertaker world title runs? No, because he's never needed them, he has that streak. I don't even see someone in WWE right now who should beat him at WM.

The rumors about The Undertaker have been ongoing for the past 6 years, and yet he's still wrestling, I'll believe he is retiring soon when he actually does.

A Jericho set is so long overdue, it's not even funny. Sooo true. The fact we got Batista before Y2J is a mortal sin.

Yeah maybe Taker should walk away before he tarnishes his legacy. If nothing else just come back once a year before Mania. Just to add to the streak.

Undertaker vs Chris Jericho. It needs to happen. That would be a great last match for taker. And the fans would enjoy it because they never fought one on one and it's something new and exciting.

The only other option I could see is John Cena. He's already fought Triple H, Orton, Michaels, and Edge at Wrestlemania, who are arguably the biggest names in the WWE right now. I'd actually be okay with John Cena vs. Undertaker at Mania for a farewell match, as long as 'Taker goes over. BUT, before 'Taker retires, we need a feud against Jericho. Two of the biggest names in the industry, in the same company for 10 years together, and they've never fought each other one-on-one. I'd rather have that match than Cena vs. 'Taker, but I'd be okay with either. As long as Jericho-Taker happens at SOME point. Either way, the past 3-4 years of 'Taker's career have arguably been the best for him. His match quality astonishingly enough improved, his storylines have been intriguing, and he's just been a staple of quality WWE programming. I'll be sad to see him hang up the boots but I'd rather he do that than risk his health anymore than need be.

I dont want to see Taker go out yet, not at all. He should take more time off and shouldnt have returned so early yet.

Nah, i don't think he will retire so soon. WWE needs him more than he needs WWE and the money.
He will do a Sting and make sporadic appearances even if he wrestles lesser.

Royal Rumble 2007 wasn't early enough? They did a perfect job of teasing it. I mean, I agree in principle that the actual feud should've been built earlier on, but I like to factor in their previous encounters (RR 2007 and 2008, NWO 2007) into the feud. Not to mention the stuff from 1997, 1998 and 2000. In a way, it's like they never stopped feuding, from SummerSlam 1997 onward.
