Cover song, so there's only so much a rap/rock band can do and make it sound alright to the original. I loved the cover of Shout At The Devil though. And the live stuff is great. Gives me a little piece of what it would have been like to be able to go to Philly on Halloween and see them.

I guess Deuce was only in 2 of the newer songs, Jimmy 6 Inch was in the others

Here I am, singing along, and they bust out a new verse, and it's like *nnnnnnneeeeeooowwww* over my head! LoL.

Watched the DVD before I went to bed, the live tracks are the same ason the dvd. And i guess 2010 they are getting a new album, according to wikipedia (if it wasn't true it would of been removed by now).
And has anyone else had a problem trying to get the cd exclusive bonus stuff? It cant read my disc.

Mine worked. =/
The bonus stuff is wallpapers, images, and MPEG videos of the entire DVD so you can watch it on your iPod or similar device. Pretty cool IYAM.

When I heard they covered Immigrant Song I was ready to dust off the "Worst Cover Ever" medal. While it wasn't quite there it was still in' awful. Shout At The Devil was pretty terrible too. Stick to the psudo-rap and leave the actual good music to the bands that can do it.

They are trendy fags. That "Everywhere I Go" song makes me want to puke my guts out.
"Girls want to be SCENE with me"
Uhh....that lyric makes me want to kill myself, I can't believe how blunt you people are at being "SCENECOREZ" it's really pathetic.
Going to go put a bullet in my head at the thought of it.

I was intrigued to hear just how bad it was. It's like driving by a car crash... I'm sure you know the rest of that analogy.

Most recent: "I Wanna Know What Love Is", originally [and best] done by Foreigner, covered by Mariah Carey. It's just so.....so bad.

Just heard Dove and Grenade at a live show (on youtube), they should of recorded that version where they play the guitars instead of the one on the cd

Was so mad at myself earlier. I had Desperate Measures in my CD drive here on my laptop and I'll be damned if I didn't leave it in there when I left for work. I wanted to listen to it too. Ugh. Hate when I do that. Leave a damn CD in my computer and I have the case with me...
I love the remix of Everywhere I Go. The guitars and drums instead of the beats from Swan Songs makes the song 100x better.

Sorry to bring back an old thread but I only got the album yesterday. It's not as good as what I expected it to be, that's not saying it's bad, just not as good as I expected after hearing Swan Songs. I like Dove & Grenade, Tear It Up and Shout At The Devil. The Immigrant song cover is terrible, IMO. However, any band would find it hard to cover such a song as that and I could probably pick faults with it, even if AC/DC were to cover it. The majority of live songs are immense though.

Couple friends of mine got mad...like genuinely pissed at HU because, apparently, Dove And Grenade "ripped off" the beat from a Puscifier track. I've never listened to Puscifier before, so as far as I'm concerned, D&G had it first. :-P

I think Desperate Measures was just a quick release to keep the hype up about them. Overall it's an alright album but compared to Swan Songs it's just not as good as I expected.
