That almost put Morgan over as much as a win would. He gave it his all and then was shown respect and put over by Angle. Kurt gave the spotlight to Matt even though he won.

While I much prefer PPV's outside of the Impact Zone, the problem is 95% of crowds will cheer for Kurt Angle because he's Kurt Angle. Rightfully so, but it kinda screws up the story of the match.

Angle shaking Morgan's hand just put him over major. When will he ever get another chance to beat angle on such a big stage? This was their chance to make him a megastar and they put Angle over. I get that angle is great but they really need to ease back on him constantly going over. Oh well as long as AJ wins im happy |

This was probably the time to pull the trigger on Morgan, and they didn't... agreed. the finish/handshake kept morgan credible... but a clean win over angle, does that and more. it makes him next in line to aj, likely. |
