I've been pretty confused with Joe's booking since his return. The heel turn was a nice twist but his (seeming) demotion to the X division belt has me wondering what his future holds? Is there any chance that he might be Angle's successor as the leader of MEM? Will he continue to flounder on the mid-card? Will he leave TNA for WWE?

It could be pretty good if TNA doesnt do the obvious gimmick for it, but it is TNA so they will

I wish 2005 Samoa Joe was back.I am a fan of his ,but he hasn't done anything interesting in some time.I would like to see another(I know it was decent length but to me it wasn't memorable.) World Heavyweight title run.

Going by his new shorts, he's going to become Marc Mero circa 1997/1998.

i personally think he will turn on the mafia and become a face again A face turn will have to be farther down the road to have any serious impact. AJ is being pushed now, Hernandez is in the early stages of a main event push, and Dixie might even want Lashley with the title at some point. So I don't see a Joe-as-a-face feud for the belt in the near future.

If TNA doesn't go back to 2005 heel Joe, he might as well go to WWE. He is better off.

Who cares what Dixie Carter wants? This is not the Dixie Carter TNA show, and until TNA realizes this, they will continue to fail. I mean so what she is owner of TNA big deal? Why does everything have to be the way that she wants it to be,and not what the fans want? Is it because she knows that the fans may not want Hernandez to get a push and that they hate Eric Young and don't want to see either one of them on their tv anymore? Who cares what Dixie wants? I betcha the guys in charge of ROH aren't pushing their wrestlers there just because who runs the company? And I bet the owner isn't saying who to push in ROH either. This is what continues to kill any chances of TNA of surviving at all.

2005 Samoa Joe was great, Joe doesn't really belong in a faction, he suited that whole " Lone warrior who destroys everything in his way " loved how they done his streak aswell, top notch stuff.

Why NOT push him?

I believe he will continue on his consistant failure that has been his TNA run after losing the TNA title.

I hope he leaves the Mafia and feuds with them. But they missed that one a few months back.

The problem with Joe is that his whole badass image is out of sync. There's a difference between looking intimidating to other wrestlers and looking intimidating to a triple whopper. Joe "crossed the line" a while back. He needs to be given a few months off to get back in shape. He should then return to the dual color short tights and lose the face paint, keeping the leather vest of course because it reeks of awesomeness. Oh yeah, and he needs to distance himself from any Taz references because a knockoff is never better than the original.
