I'm suprised nobody has brought up Joe vs. Umaga in this thread.

Its funny, Taz went from The Tazmaniac to the Human Suplex Machine...
Samoa Joe has done it the other way round...

The problem with Joe is that his whole badass image is out of sync. There's a difference between looking intimidating to other wrestlers and looking intimidating to a triple whopper. Joe "crossed the line" a while back. He needs to be given a few months off to get back in shape. He should then return to the dual color short tights and lose the face paint, keeping the leather vest of course because it reeks of awesomeness. Oh yeah, and he needs to distance himself from any Taz references because a knockoff is never better than the original. I agree and disagree with your post... Definitely agree about the paint, it doesn't suit him at all. And I partially agree that he shouldn't wrestle too much like Taz... But I think he should essentially be the type of guy Taz was in ECW. Badass, no nonsense fighter. It's essentially what he's done at other points in his career and he needs to do it now. The only issue is that TNA is flooded with "stars" and if they don't push him right with the gimmick, he'll falter huge. So I say that he should do what he's doing now and bide his time. But when the time is right he should set out on his own, fight anyone and everyone, heel or face, and be the type of guy you don't want to cross. He also needs more anger than you usually see from him. But I'm not sure what can be done about that... We'll see though.
