How about they fire Russo and don't sign Hogan. We get Heyman or Storm as bookers and they sign someone like RVD, or they don't sign anybody else.

Wait, so Hogan would come in and we'd have all the bullsh*t backstage politics like in WCW with Sullivan and Nash as bookers? Yeah, I'd take Russo's booking any day...He is better than this time last year tbf.

Hogan is the kinda political bull crap you dont want in the company. That was the problem with Jarret. the lesser known wrestlers is not the cause for the ratings slump. Outside your core base, fans are fickle. TNA will never see above a 2.0 until we get another wrestling surge like we did mid-late 90's. The ratings need to stop being the indicator of how successful ones product it all the time it's too misleading.

Any chance we can just get them both out of TNA forever?

As if politics didn't pollute the company enough.

Hulk Hogan would bring in the biggest ratings TNA has ever had. If they were smart, they'd give him whatever he wanted. Hogan would finally bring TNA into the mainstream.
As for Russo elevating new young talent. Why is that a good thing? Young talent will never get over without being mixed with established big names. NEVER. Even Hogan needed the endorsement of Bob Backlund in 83 when he came back to the WWF.
Every time Russo has tried to elevate Young People, it's been a ratings disaster. The last year and a half of WCW was new faces and it killed off the company once and for all. Where is Mike Sanders these days? Pulumbo? Jindrak? Exactly!
Even WWE's ratings are down now as they try to push new faces. The only thing keeping the ratings respectable is the gimmick of a guest host every week. RAW got a 3.1 rating this past week. That was the rating of the last Nitro 8 years ago and 3.1 was considered a failure of a rating, so what does that tell you?
Everyone Russo ever gave his stamp of approval to has been a failure. Jarrett never did anything after WCW and had to create his own company just to get work. Booker T never got the big win in WWE over HHH and the only world title he won was on the B show of Smackdown. Scott Steiner? Another Russo bust. Kidman? Yea, he had so much potential that he was overshadowed by his wife. Russo has not created one single breakout new star, which shows that his ability as a booker/writer sucks.

Hogan in a company old or not will help ratings completely the key kicker is that you cant give him creative control. Thats where so many places screw themselves

God, I am so sick of this "oh noes, dontz gives da Hogan creatives control".
Who in this world knows how to book Hulk Hogan better than Hulk Hogan? Nobody!
As for "so many company's made that mistake". Name them. What companies can be considered "so many"?
Hogan had creative control in WCW from day one. If he NEVER wanted to lose, he didn't have to. EVER! Yet, he lost to Arn Anderson and Ric Flair, all before the nWo. Is someone going to throw the argument at me about "Hogan was suposed to lose the title back to Ric Flair in a 3 match series"? Why would Hogan lose in only his second match in the company? They were trying to use Hogan to turn around the company. Why would you cut his legs out from under him immediately upon entering the company? If Ric Flair wasn't jobbing to Hogan, Flair would've been on his shoulders for 3 seconds looking up at the lights for someone else. Beating Flair has not been special ince 1987. He loses to everyone.
If anyone throws Vader in my face here, let's not forget that Vader was a backstage bunghole! He refused to job to Hogan just as much as Hogan refused to job to him. Difference being? Hogan never got into a backstage fist fight over his attitude and he certainly never got his ass handed to him by someone 200lbs lighter than him.
Even with creative control in WCW, here is a list of people that pinned Hogan from 94-2001.
Arn Anderson Ric Flair 2x's Sting Goldberg The Giant Billy Kidman Mike Awesome Sid Vicious Vampiro
Here is a list of people who made Hogan tap in WCW.
Lex Luger Sting 2x's Roddy Piper via sleeper
That's just WCW.
Want Hogan's abusive creative control jobbing list from his WWE comeback?
Pin losses
The Rock 2x's The Undertaker The Big Show HHH
Tap outs Brock Lesnar Kurt Angle
That is just 2002-2003. Hogan was around from January 2002 to July 2002. That's 6 months. He came back January 2003 and stayed until July 2003. Another 6 months. So in 12 months time, he jobbed 7 times. That's about once every other month.
He came back and beat Michaels and Orton and the Internet Community treats it like Hitler killing The Jews, despite the fact that both Michaels and Orton were unprofessional pieces of crap leading up to their matches with Hogan.
Nobody can make a rational argument for the "Oh he abused his creative control" case. Hogan could've demanded that he won every single match but he didn't do that. Hardly abusive at all.

Nobody can make a rational argument for the "Oh he abused his creative control" case. Hogan could've demanded that he won every single match but he didn't do that. Hardly abusive at all. It's actually very easy and common knowledge among knowledgable fans. Upon entering WCW, Hogan didn't do a single job for 2 1/2 years until his non-title loss to Piper in Dec. '96. He didn't do a Title job for over 3 years until his loss to Luger in August '97. He skirted around clean jobs when asked to job to Flair and The Giant by only agreeing to countout/DQ losses even when it came to the title. Now here is the real kicker, especially where TNA is concerned. Hogan agreed to put over some established stars in WCW (though not often enough due to his ego) but do you know how long it took The Orange Wonder to put over a rising star for the belt? IT TOOK 4 YEARS: Goldberg, July '98. So, let's envision Hogan in TNA, having cast his spell on Dixie, with the TNA title and putting on his redundant, slow, boring matches. Dixie asks him to do a clean title job to Matt Morgan or Herndez or even someon with a short main event record like AJ Styles. Hogan balks at this idea, as he has done so many times in the past, and decides to put over who he wants and how he wants. Is that good for the longevity of TNA? NOPE!

If Hogan came in, we'd have Nash winning the world title and spraying mEm on it.
