Just my opinion but those WWE Mattel Entrance Greats blow their jakks counterparts out of the water! 2010 needs to hurry!

I am a bit confused by the Mattel line to be honest. I dont know whats what at the moment theres some good figures but id prefer they just got one basic figure of ever person out first before they start doing all kinds of fancy sets like entrance gear etc

LOL! When you look at Jakks considered to Mattel, it's ridiculous. I always thought Mattel would produce cartoony looking figures, but Jakks look like Manga characters compared!

I'm so pleased with these new lines. I think an entrance gear line is AMAZING !! We will have a decent standard wrestling attire line and a decent entrance attire one, not a mix, cheap accessory standard jakks thing...

Those figures by comparison, make Mattel look like geniuses. Mattel have obviously got more drive to get the detail in and it shows. If only the scans were all perfect.

These will be great for some stop motion entrances they will add a lot more detail into the animation, also those little platform things play the entrance theme!

HBK's face and the basic new "RA" styled bodies look crap though.
I'll reserve my judgment for the final product. For all you know, detail may be left off like Jakks. Lol.

Not that i don't completely love the new figures in Jakks defense these figures your comparing also have a $10 price difference. Mattel can do a whole lot more with a higher price point.

Good point, but I think if you were to look at even the Basic Jericho and Bourne side-by-side with their RA counterparts, you would see much greater detail and attention in the Mattel line vs. the Jakks line (at more similar price-points).

Yeah, you don't see how crappy something is until you have something to compare it to.

Just noticed on HBK's "Stand" it says Wrestlemania 22, instead of 12

I'll definately be picking those up if that's the final product, I used to think Jakks had good detail (at least before this year) but looking at the difference between the 2, Jakks looks like a joke now.

This post points it out. We all may be a little judgmental when looking at Mattel's protos, but if you look at side to side pictures, it honestly shows whats up. The JAKKS versions look like comic book drawings next to the Mattel versions.

Now lets see if Mattel can fix their QC and distribution problems I'm worried about the distribution as well. I might just hafta go with RSC for my figures and pay the "security" dollars. As for QC...I've purchased the Ghostbuster figure, and some of the recent DCUC and besides loose joints, they're fantastic!

The mattel HHH is just pure amazing and jakks standing next to it looks like one of those cheaper $/£ figures
