I'd rather wait for the retail version that is hopefully coming early next year. Much cheaper than paying for one w/ 24k gold. There is no retail version, Bandai announced it's only going to be available at Comic Con. And only 1000 will be produced, I don't think there would be a retail version. I know right now Bandai is only releasing this special version w/ real 2k gold, but don't be surprised to eventually see a retail version down the line. This is a sought after product and many collectors won't be able to pay the prices for a special exclusive one. W/ Bandai continuing the power rangers anniversary stuff into next year don't be surprised to hear bandai announce a retail version for either this winter or next spring.

Well I'm not sure yet on that though, I know SDCC exclusives never go in stores for retail, because it takes away the purpose of it being exclusive. If they ever did release a retail version i'ts not going to be as good as the SDCC exclusive. And well if they don't bother releasing a retail version ever, because of 1000 limited then well you're out of luck man.

It'll basically be regular legacy morpher but repainted w/ gold plates. On ranger board a lot of the more trusted members believe a retail version will eventually be announced. Hoping this is true since I won't be able to get to SDCC and won't be paying the ridiculous ebay prices.

A lot of people won't be going and I saw those ridiculous eBay prices which is not worth it. Good thing it's limited one per customer at SDCC that way scalpers won't be getting like 5 of them all at once.

I'm going to Chicago Comic Con in August so if I can find one there for less than $100 I'll probably grab it but I doubt scalpers will place it anywhere below $300.

The normal version is so shiny, it almost looks gold in the box. I didn't realize it was metal. Very cool piece!

Well without a mass production of the Green and Gold coin I'm no longer interested in the morpher. While it would be cool to own, I will always feel I'm missing pieces much like my 2010 3.75' set since I'm still missing the yellow ranger. I've been stalking ebay but nothing has come up in my price range yet. However I've decided to save my upcoming income to get a Dragon Ranger, if you haven't seen this figure yet you should really watch the reviews. It is well worth the 50 dollar price tag.

Well many of you know, I'm in the search for the original Yellow Ranger to complete my set. But to be humorous I decided to take this picture of the team with the "replacement" Yellow Ranger. I'm collecting the Samurai line and I bought her today along with 3 of the generic versions of the Samurai rangers because I'm going to buy there Super versions to stand beside their regular versions. All that is left with Samurai is the Pink ranger and the final forum of the Red Ranger. I will probably buy a fully poseable red ranger too to go along with my set. Well enjoy!

Does anyone have the Enterprise bridge playset from the newest reboot of Star Trek movies released a couple of years ago? I saw it today while walking through Big Lots. They have it on clearance and I was wondering if I could modify it into a command center or MegaZord operations station?

First SDCC MMPR pic: As I said on the WFT thread, these Figuarts Power Ranger figures look awesome. They're pricey at over $40 each but hey that's what you have to pay for this kind of quality. I'm planning on getting the full team, should make a nice nostalgic display. Not gonna bother with the armored red ranger though, and probably not the Megazord either, although I'm a little on the fence about the Megazord. If they make the Dragonzord and the Tigerzord I'd be more likely to consider it. I think the main thing which puts me off the Megazord though is the size, since it's roughly the same size as the figures, which in my view wouldn't look right displayed alongside the figures. I mean obviously a proper scale Megazord would be impractical, but if it'd been 12" or 18" I'd have probably got it. But yeh, a Megazord the same size as the Rangers, that doesn't really work for me.

that was my first issue with getting the Megazord as well, but then after seeing the articulation of it and how great it looked I caved, I will be getting it for my birthday, the box came yesterday, but I can't open it for another month... as for the Ranger team, good lord they look incredible, $40 is a lot to spend especially when you need to buy all 5 Rangers plus the Green & White, but it looks worth it to me, they look amazing.

I know nothing about power ranger figs. I was a big fan as a kid. I didnt know those figs existed until yesterday and I didn't think twice about preordering. They look great. I only preordered the green ranger for now. If I like the way it looks up close and the articulation I will prob get more.

Thanks for the info ckhybrid, I'm still thinking about it. Probably will wait to get the Rangers first and see if that quenches my thirst for MMPR nostalgia or not. Fun fact I just worked out, if they made a Megazord to scale with the new 6-inch figures (i.e. in true 1:12 scale), the Megazord would have to be almost 28 feet tall! (That's going by the official height of the "real" Megazord being given as 333 feet). But like I said, a 12-inch or 18-inch Megazord would be good enough for me! I'm thinking I might go for the Legacy Megazord which is about 11 inches apparently. EDIT: just noticed Bandai showed a "Jumbo Megazord" proto at SDCC, which is 2 feet tall apparently! Looks pretty cool. I haven't been able to find any other details though:

^Bandai never confirmed if the 2 foot Megazord is for display only or if it is a proto for retail. It would go great on display with the figuart rangers but even if it isn't released the legacy megazord would go fine w/ them as well. I don't plan on getting the figuarts Megazord. I already got the 2010 Megazord so don't need the legacy one (they're the same thing just w/out the chome finish). Definatly getting the legacy Dragonzord though and I think they'll look great w/ the whole figuarts team.

thanks, as soon as I replied to this thread I went looking for the Bandai table set up for comic con and almost passed out when i saw the Legacy Dragon Dagger coming out next year, my favorite toy as a kid, and I honestly can not wait until I get my hands on it. I will also be getting that Legacy Dragonzord without question... and I guess this means now I need to go grab the Legacy Megazord ugh! see ya $60

The 2010 Megazord is the exact same thing as the new Legacy Megazord except for the chrome finish. It will also work with the new Dragonzord so if you don't mind the minor differences you might be able to find the 2010 version for cheaper. I'm sticking w/ my 2010 one.
