Guys, my birthday is coming up this weekend.. And I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna pull the trigger.. On an S.H. Figuarts Power Ranger! It'll take some time, and some money.. But I plan on eventually collecting the whole set of originals.. Blue, Pink, Black, Yellow, Green, and White. I've thought about this for a couple years, and I just love them very much.. So my first one will be the Red Ranger.. Funny thing is my very first Power Ranger toy when I was a kid was this Red Ranger... The Black Ranger too but I can't really afford him at the moment. I'm BEYOND excited!

But knowing me and how cheap I am, I might just wait and get the Zeo figures next year and call my Power Rangers collection good.

Someone at some convention announced Zeo Legacy figures for late 2017.

TRU has BOGO 50% off on PR stuff until Saturday. Saw a fresh case of these new figures and grabbed the MMPR green and red.

Legacy green and red rangers are real bad ass. When are the other MMPR expected to be out?

Legacy green and red rangers are real bad ass. When are the other MMPR expected to be out? pretty sure late fall, so probably November when the Ninja Steel figures drop, but I don't think they'll be complete by then, pretty sure either Yellow or Pink & White are due in 2017 to complete the MMPR team

Received my S.H. Figuarts Red Ranger from Amazon today.. And while the figure itself is amazing in person, the package is beat all to hell.. So I'm trying to get in touch with Amazon about it.

That's disappointing. Even though I'm an opener, I like keeping the SHF boxes. I had to do an exchange on one of the figures I bought from Amazon. It wasn't just a ding or little wrinkle, but a flap was torn almost completely off and the backside looked caved in.

So I'm not expecting a perfect card. But I feel the card would have looked better if Amazon hadn't been the ones handling it. If I pay $70 for an action figure I don't want anything to be torn and smashed because of the warehouses carelessness. Smashed heavily in the corner and the front has some torn card.

I've been looking at this S.H. Figuarts Red Ranger most of the night, and I gotta say it's not what I expected.
Kinda underwhelming. I did not expect them to be as small as they are.. Especially for the prices on these things.. The Black Ranger can run upwards of $180.. They're like 5 inches tops.
Definitely could have benefited from another 1/2 inch to full inch..
Gonna reevaluate my plan going forward.

Can anyone here direct me to a good Power Rangers site with an active Mighty Morphin fan/collector community?
I'm researching classic video game release dates, and am trying to find sources for the UK/European release date of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers The Movie on SNES. As in sources from the time that can be verified, not just unsourced info on random webpages or wikis. I've virtually exhausted the avenue of info in classic gaming magazines for this particular game, so figure if I ask in a Power Rangers community maybe someone there will have some piece of memorabilia that I can use as a source or even just a distinct memory that will help me pin down the UK/European release date. Cheers

found another seller.. Bout to go through with this S.H. Figuarts collection!
Mainly because, I don't think we're going to get a better set of Power Ranger figures any type soon.. These might be the best we ever get.
Not feeling the Legacy figs.

These might be the best we ever get. Not feeling the Legacy figs. I don't think you'll regret it, the Figuarts are probably some of my favorite figures in all of the lines I collect. They are a little on the small side and the shoulders annoy me sometimes but they look great when they're all together.

The SH figuarts rangers are the best ranger figures out there. They are expensive now because they've been off the market for years. They were originally like 40 bucks a piece when new. I have the whole set minus the SDCC armored Black ranger. I think their scale is fine as they are teenagers. So they look fine to me.

Yeh I mean the Mighty Morphin Rangers weren't exactly muscular, and I'm pretty sure the original guys were all between 5'8" and 6'0". I think the Figarts capture their actual physical look quite well, whereas in contrast the Legacy ones are obviously more muscular than is accurate. Though of course some people may prefer the more "idealized" look.

I received my S.H Figuarts Red Ranger today.. And it is GREAT!
Found one on eBay and did some communication with the seller.. He claimed the package was in great condition and I would be satisfied with the item.. And I absolutely am.. MUCH better than that crap Amazon sent me last week.
Now the hard decisions are "who do I order next" and "DO I OPEN THIS ONE UP"?!
Would love to display this without damaging the package.
