I must say the MMPR Legacy figures have really grown on me. At first I thought I'd stick with the Figuarts for the more realistic body tone and the weapons. But eventually I decided to replace my Figuarts set with the Metallic Legacy set. Reasons being, the Figuarts scale is a little small for my taste (7-inch is my favorite scale) so I prefer the larger scale (they also fit in better with my Marvel Legends, DC Universe Classics, etc), and also even though the muscular body tone isn't show accurate, in my mind it is more fitting for the general superhero world where almost everyone is muscular. And even though my memories of the show don't go as far as the brief time they had the metallic suits, so in that sense they're not accurate to how I remember them, I do think the metallic finish looks more like armor and seem more practical/logical for the MMPR world and story. Plus obviously the metallic Legacy have weapons.
So yeh, my MMPR figures of choice now are the Legacy Metallic Rangers, OK not show accurate but personally I just like the charactization/depiction better.
I really wish we could get some more MMPR Legacy figures though. My top want would be full-teenager versions of the original cast (with licensed likenesses), my second choice would be unmasked Rangers, again with the original cast likenesses. And my third place want would be some villains and other supporting characters, i.e. Rita, Lord Zedd, Putties, Goldar, Alpha 5, some kind of Zordon piece perhaps incorporating a high-quality lenticular print or projected animation within a plastic sculpt of his tube thingy. Oh and I also would love some LARGE megazords that would look nice displayed ALONGSIDE the figures. Obviously accurate scale would be unrealistic but if we could get some that were at least 24-inches, that would be nice. Sadly Bandai's 24-inch Dino Megazord never materialized, neither did Jakks 31-inch Dino Megazord and I was so disappointed. I just can't bring myself to stand my figures next to a Megazord that's only 10-inches or 12-inches, doesn't look right.

They got their glitter...I mean metallic armor upgrades during season 3.

Technically they are show accurate. They got their glitter...I mean metallic armor upgrades during season 3. Yeh I know that, but thanks for the info anyway. I did explain what I meant: And even though my memories of the show don't go as far as the brief time they had the metallic suits, so in that sense they're not accurate to how I remember them Though obviously Bandai have now released a metallic Green ranger in the Fighting Spirit NYCC exclusive set, which I don't believe ever appeared in the show IIRC. It's possible Bandai didn't actually do the metallic Rangers in reference to the show though, they might have just done it cos they thought it would look cool and fresh. I seriously doubt the people who make these decisions have an encylopedic knowledge of the show, they might not have even remembered metallic armor was actually featured in it. That reminds me, I wanted to ask the fans here, did the black and gold versions of the Legacy Dino Megazords which Bandai did a while back actually ever appear in the show? I don't recall them featuring, but I was never a hardcore fan and kinda lost interest soon after most of the original cast left. And if they didn't, where did this idea to do them in black and gold even come from? Cheers guys

Walked into Walgreens to pick up store excl Medusa Marvel Legends -- Gold Zeo sitting on the shelf. Outstanding.
But they really half assed the gold paint aspect. Ugh. Going to have to do that pen idea.

so I found a site that sells decals and stuff for Power Rangers toys, I grabbed a few things.. pretty cool and unique Power Coin. I got Labels for the Power Sword because it drove me nuts that Bandai didn't think it was necessary to add the black details to the blade. I am a bit disappointed with how the blade labels came out because they don't stick very well if I'm being honest. I will try and make it work. The handle labels look pretty good.

so, I got sick and tired of waiting for Banadai to do the right thing and put out the Yellow & Black movie morphers to complete the set from 2(?) years ago... I bought blue and pink movie morphers for $15 each at Gamestop on clearance, then bought a set of labels online and BOOM. Now I have Yellow and Black movie morphers to complete the set. Only thing I need is to paint 1 of my extra holsters yellow.

Found all of the newest Legacy wave except yellow, thus far. Walgreens has really come through, and found Dino Thunder Red/Blue at Meijer.
She's proving the difficult one for some reason. The females in the other waves have been warming HARD.

Red zeo? Interesting. Still haven't seen yellow Zeo from the previous wave anywhere yet. Looks like Walgreens?

I haven't seen Zeo yellow either. Hell, I'm still trying to find another metallic Black ranger.
