As a life long Jakks collector i am very happy and excited for the
new WWE figures from Mattel. I have noticed that some are
upset about 1.No accessories with basic figs 2. Prices
My first question is do you really need new accessories ? 99% of
the accessories Jakks gave us were produced for BCA figures
wich are much smaller than RA,DA, and TTL and were compatable
with all of them.
My second question is for those who have complained about
prices. How do you expect to get more detail (cloth
attires,charecter specific accessories,scale sized figures) without
paying more? For those who dont know, WWE figs have been
$15 since i could read a wrestling magazine! When i was a kid
wrestling superstore was selling Hasbros for that price!
I think elite figs are fairly priced,think about it. A
Jakks DA is $12 in store. Would you pay $3 for a figure scale t-
shirt knowing what prices are for similar items online? (Ralphs).
So an elite is DA + premium extras. Heres another example- Edge
with cloth jacket,100% attire detail and belt from jakks was
$24.99 retail. Same character Mattel figure minus belt will be
$14.99. WOW! is the Rated R spinner belt worth $10 ? Hell no !
Detailed figures have always been more expensive. Look at
Mcfarlane figs and video game figs. Consistantly $12-$15
Mattel has made what series to get easy for me. I have TONS of
Jakks chairs,tables,ladders and i love DA style so elite works for
me. Ill get some basic figs (Jericho & HBK 2 pack) but i mostly
stick to Elite. So does anyone else feel the same way? Are you
happy the new figs are big enough to work with accessories and
playsets you already have?
