Some negative comments made by new TNA Knockout Lacey Von Erich about former Knockout Angelina Love in an interview with The Miami Herald did not sit well with some TNA officials. Prowrestling.net is reporting that Von Erich was ordered by the TNA office to contact Love and apologize for the comments she made in the interview.
We reported on these comments earlier today and at the time the impression we got was that she was going in character when talking about Love. Von Erich said, "[Angelina] wasn't a good fit for it in my opinion. I thought that everybody was going to be, `Oh no. Angelina is gone,' but not one person said that. Nobody really missed her that much. I feel like I can fill the shoes that I'm supposed to. TNA told me this role was made for me, and I feel the same way. I've never met Angelina before in my life. After what some people have said, I don't know if I want to."
This same report by Jason Powell is also indicating that Von Erich didn't make a very good first impression at the TNA Impact TV tapings two weeks ago in Orlando, FL and further upset some TNA officials with her negative comments towards Angelina Love. Von Erich debuted on last night's Impact joining up The Beautiful People group with Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne, effectively replacing Angelina Love. Others in the wrestling media have noted that while Love herself wasn't very popular backstage either, the general feeling was that the comments made by Von Erich were not needed and not necessary especially considering that she just debuted for the company. All shes done is 2 moves and a heel promo Indeed it would suck. Madison, imo, does not fit in. It's to bad they didn't put Taylor Wilde in when they needed a third. I'm not saying she's "beautiful" but she has a good look and competent in the ring. It really sucks that Angelina Love is long gone... why couldn't it have been "so long, madison!" |

I agree that madison doesnt fit. Ive never nor will I ever like Madison Rayne in that group, i was like please shut up, during her promo part.
Thats my opinion, so noone get angry and start ranting about TBP "raping the ropes" etc lol. (not naming any names)

TNA's gonna push the least two talented in the group over Madison. But, to release her from the company would've been stupid. She can wrestle, she's hot, and she can talk - why fire her? Makes no sense. Just my two cents. |

At least Lacey is hot and doesnt look like trailer trash. Ill have to find her debut on youtube somewhere and check it out

However, TNA has about as many knockouts signed as male wrestlers. That's a bit much... doesn't mean I'd fire her, but if I had to fire three she'd be one of the less proven/needed. I can respect people liking her either because she has impressed them in TNA or else-where for whatever reason they fancy. I won't agree with her fitting into the Beautiful mold though. |

That was wrong what she said but as long as she said sorry then it should be done with. I think she is the best looking out of all of the Beautiful People members but I don't know about wrestling wise. . .

At least Lacey actually fits with the Beautiful People, Key word being beautiful. Angelina and Madisons are Butterfaces.

Von Erich wrote the following on her official Facebook page on Friday afternoon: "I hope everyone enjoyed the show last night! Angelina Love was a great wrestler and I hope I do well filling her shoes! I wish her all the best in her career! Thank u all for ur support!" Yup.. sounds like character there.. |
