- In case you haven’t noticed, there is something of a youth movement going on in TNA. Company president Dixie Carter is very high on pushing the younger talent and has made it clear that anyone who objects won’t last long.
Carter has identified AJ Styles, Matt Morgan and Hernandez as the three men in line for big pushes in the organization. Bobby Lashley had been on that list, but company officials have cooled on investing heavily in him as a result of his other career in MMA. While he’ll be featured prominently when his schedule allows him to work, Carter has determined that she can’t build her company around a wrestler who won’t be there on a full-time basis. Hence, Lashley is no longer mentioned as one of the stars Carter is banking on to lead TNA in the future and his stock in the company is down.

there could be a lot worse than bobby lashley. i'm happy he's in TNA, and i think its cool that it'll be in doses instead of a giant push.
i never connected with Matt Morgan or Hernandez. i don't see them as ever being capable of being good World Champions. i think soon it's gonna be time to push Alex Shelley as the next star. he can be the heel version of what AJ Styles is for TNA.

Oh, no. I'm not bashing Bobby. I'm glad he's there, I just dont' agree with the idea that TNA's had for so long. "Give ____ 6 figures and a major push to work just TV" over pushing guys like AJ, Joe, Storm, Roode, and other guys who work more than just TV.

I like that they're pushing the younger talent but if it's not the Motor City Machine Guns or Beer Money, not alot of people are going to care who they push. Look at Eric Young. I've personally been loving the heel run where he has been leader of the W.E, can't say I've seen alot of positive feedback from people on here.

Over the last year he hasn't done anything worthy of one. He's let himself go, his matches are not as good, he's past it.

I hate when people say she's high on young talent, because she's only high on certain talent. I agree with building bigger names, but other than AJ Styles, I think her taste in wrestlers is horrible. I cannot see Morgan or Hernadez as big players in the business or big stars. I don't ever see someone buying a ppv just to see Hernandez.

One of the main reasons why a bum such as Hernandez will never go over,is because true fans see him for the way that he really is,when he comes down the aisle and to the ring.He walks and struts very cocky, and fans hate that in a wrestler. He acts just like the way Konnan does, and Konnan good or bad had X-Pac heat all the time and so does Hernandez and also Eric Young.Speaking of which, when looking at EY,I see a big time fag,who will do just about anything in TNA to get a huge push, and this is why they never seem to fire him.
He obviously is sucking off someone in TNA just to save and keep his job.

I'm a huge fan of Matt Morgan. He's big, athletic, agile and talented in the ring and on the mic. He's probably in my top five guys in TNA right now.
Hernandez is lower end of the top 10. He's also really agile for such a big guy. He lacks on the mic, but he's good enough that he can say his peace. They shouldn't give him too much time though. He also seems to connect well with the TNA fans. I hope he does well.
AJ Styles is beyond words. Phenomenal really is more than just a name with this man.
I wish Daniels had gotten more of a push, or maybe even still gets one. I do understand that he's reaching the later stage of his career though. I do still wish they would put him in the main event slot... They have the perfect opening for a heel turn and feud with AJ, even if he doesn't get the belt from it.
TNA certainly has the talent on screen to make it to the top ... The problem is that they don't have the talent backstage to make it work... also, they need that breakout star to grab the attention of casual fans... They'll have to make him though, signing guys that already didn't achieve that goal in WWE won't do the trick.

Styles is a guy who can capture the attention of anyone, no matter what in the ring. If a non-TNA fan watches a TNA show and sees AJ's in-ring ability, they'll be sucked in. I'm speaking for experince on that.

I'm speaking for experince on that. I think he could possibly be what they need, but he's never been pushed right to do it. Also, there is one issue with Styles. While his mic skills are good, and certainly better than they even need to be. His personality just isn't as grabbing as guys like hogan, Austin, Flair, The Rock, etc. The guys that have been huge stars of that caliber. I love AJ, and I would be really excited if he did indeed reach those heights, especially if it could help TNA look credible against WWE, but I just don't know if he will. Although, if Creative was less nonsensical, created good storylines and truly built the company around him, I do think it could really pay off. Only time will tell, really, but I do hope you're right. I hope my fears are unfounded and I hope AJ reached the pantheon of greats, raising TNA with him. Regardless. he's a great wrestler and a terrific star, and it could do TNA nothing but good to give him the shot to be their absolute biggest star.
