I've gotten RE2 recently and when I go to play I noticed that there are a lot of saved games on it. I wouldn't really mind this but when ever I start a new game I have like over a 150 bullets and access to alt costumes. I would like to unlock this on my own, so is there a way to delete saves?
Karma will be given.
Edit: Since there is quite a bit of discussion here. I might as well change the thread name so we can all talk about the greatness that is the Resident Evil franchise.

I take it we're talking about the N64 version. Hold start on the controller and power up the system.
It might be hold start AND z.

I hope that works. It's been a while, I know it works for memory cards, but I think the same rule applies for battery saves too.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work. Either you were wrong or I'm doing it the wrong way.

Now that I've thought about it, I don't think you delete RE2 data, I think you just have to start a new game and just save over the old files.

Yeah, it was like that on mine as well. There were a ton of saved games. What pissed me off about it...is that there was a save right at the end of the game with Leon. He had no health or items to help me out and was on Danger. It was a tease I tell ya. I beat that game so many times though, it didn't matter. My shortest time on that game is an hour and a half!

1:59 I think was my best give or take a minute or two. Also depending if I take the shotgun from the Gun shop or from the cabinet in RPD.

Ah when Resident Evil was good... Yes. Not the suckfest that RE 5 is.

4, 5 and the movies didn't help the franchise.

I liked that 5 tried to get back on topic in RE land but still too actiony too little scary for me.

4 was the best one. 5 was the biggest let down of any game I have ever looked forward too. I have played them since the original in March of 1996 and 5 was decent until the 3rd chapter. I finished the game because its Resident Evil, but that couldn't even save it.
I am not counting all the other ones such as Survior or Outbreak which were bad as well.

It felt like I was playing Gears of War with zombies. Which honestly isn't the reason why Resident Evil players played Resident Evil. And unless you had a friend to consistently co-op with, it got painful at times since the partner A.I. was just downright dreadful at times.
