That is some creepy **** man...
I was over in the WWE Board like 30 seconds ago and for some unGodly reason the word Twilight just popped to mind...
"Hmmmm." 'shrugs'
'clicks back to main board'
And sure enough you JUST created this thread...
I dunno, I thought it was weird. Maybe I can get a book deal out of it.

I managed to catch it. lol As for the movie...I'm on the fence...after having the Twilight story shoved down my throat 7/5(7 hours a day, 5 days a week) by the girls at my high school when it first became popular, I was basically brainwashed into liking it...sort of... But the acting and story-telling of the movie itself is just awful. But Kristen Stewart is pretty easy on the eyes.

I read the first book on a recommendation from a friend, after not being that interested in what I had heard about the story. - I ended up loving the book but hated the film, I hated how much was changed. It was true to the source material, but the whole timeline of the film was so off. I realise they couldn't have fitted everything in, but some of the changes felt so unnecessary.

Would have worked 1,000,000x better as a TV series. They could have actually drawn the story out the way it needed to be.

It ruins vampires. Vampires are supposed to be violent predators of the night....not some douche bags who friend you on Myspace.

It ruins vampires. Vampires are supposed to be violent predators of the night....not some douche bags who friend you on Myspace. This is one of my biggest complaints about Twilight, but my disdain for the film goes much further than that. I cannot, nor will I, say anything about the book because I haven't read it, nor do I intend to. I've heard great things about Stephanie Meyer's writing, and I've also heard that she's among the worst published writers in American history. Obviously there are extremes on both accounts. I can speak about the movie, though. I watched it several months ago, during the Twilight craze but before it grew to the level its at today. I sat down with a friend who had never seen the film, another who had seen it and didn't mind it, and another who is a huge fan of the series. I promised myself I would watch it as objectively as possible and take it for what it was. This being said, I can usually get into a movie regardless of the subject matter or plot, as long as it's half decent. Simply put, I enjoy a good chick flick on occasion. I can safely say that Twilight, the film, is in the top ten worst movies I have ever seen. The screenwriting and acting is so god awful that it made me unable to concentrate on the story at all. The dialogue was so unbelievable that I found myself laughing on more than one occasion. I don't know if Meyer is to blame, or if the screenwriter should just simply never write again, but it was a poor excuse for a film in every way, shape and form.

Can't stand anything about it, except for the soundtrack to the new one, which is surprisingly good.

I liked it. I was at a Midnight Release party for it, just to chill with my friend who is the manager of the Hot Topic I got it from. Another friend talked me into pre-purchasing it, so I just hung out with the manager friend while all the crazy teenie boppers went nuts over it. I waited til the end of the night to get mine, was in no rush. Then I watched it, and it was decent. I'm not gonna even begin to compare it to past vampire movies, because it's like comparing apples to oranges. Not the same premise between this and other vamp movies.
I will probably do New Moon like I did with Twlight, wait till it releases on DVD, then watch it.
