Great thread title. I though the commercial was good. The Kofi and Kelly thing was a little out of place, but not a problem.

I agree for the most part, although we should probably keep in mind that the game is still rated teen, so technically, thats where the market is. Even with that considered, isn't that like having a PG rated movie come out in theaters only for its video game to have a more mature rating? If WWE is trying to be PG, then its video game should be PG. Don't get me wrong, I would rather have a teen rated wrestling game, but I don't see the logic to have a commercial with such poor taste out advertising a product that millions of kids are going to want--whether it was directed at them or not. To be fair, Wolverine Origins was PG-13, and the video game had a mature rating on the 360 and PS3, so it does happen. I get what you're saying though...considering you'd think the video game would appeal to kids, the commercial does not. Maybe they did a study that showed teens tend to purchase the game more than kids. Or maybe Kofi is Germaphobe and John Cena is an unorthodox marriage counselor.

Best one since the 'Smackdown! HOTEL' one back in 2000 for SD2, I believe.

I wasn't really coming from a place of "it doesn't happen." More of a confused place of "why does it happen?" I am sure that with a teen rating a lot more teens do buy it than kids, because a 9 year old's parents shouldn't buy their kid a teen rated game. I just think the product should match the merchandise. From a logical standpoint.

Pretty cool, and the real-life CAWs was a nice touch...Didn't expect Cena to be like that, but hey...

That mom is not even hot. Couldn't they cast a hotter mom? The commercial is okay so thanks for posting it. Sable!

kofi got that jungle fever You have that backward...Kelly would have the jungle fever. I agree with Alec Baldwin about the commercial. The adultery theme is rather unsettling for the sale of a video game. Not that having a black man wash you isn't a bit special in itself...

I saw the commerical on TV just before alot of the parts on the youtube video arent on the TV commerical.
I'm surpried they kept the Kofi/Kelly part in though.
They didnt have John Cena and the mom interact at all. It was shorten down alot.
Sorry for the crappy quality, its the only one I can find.

John Cena is such an overactor..
I would rate him with Jim Carrey and Robin Williams when it comes to going overboard with reactions..
