I really dig Candido. Good head choice, loads better than Gymini or whatever else people use. The CC on the boots is sloppy. I think the head could be modded a little bit more to lose the Christopher look.
Taka is cool but the parts look weird to me. The beard should be more stubble than anything or not even there.

The Taka is probably the best custom Taka I have seen. Akio doesn't really look like Taka, but you did some great modifications on him and really made him work. The eyebrows are the key characteristic when trying to capture Taka and you did an amazing job with it.

damn man..you are surely becoming one of my favorite new commers on here. and to think this guy came to me for advice on how to torsos swap?! you have amazing painting skills bro, very smooth and clean. you truly have an eye for details and that Taka is something beyond amazing. great work man all over the attire. you gave us all an idea on how to make a Taka. and Candido is almost dead on man. the only thing i would modify is the hair. like shaver it down a bit to make it look more like a buzzcut or something along those lines. other than that man...i really look forward to your next batch of customs.

Both look damn awesome. Taka is just about a dead-on likeness. I agree with Warheart that Candido should have shorter hair...but other than that, its excellent.

Thanks everyone! I am happy with the outcome of these figures and have debated whether to fix Candido's hair or not, but after seeing your responses I'll be shaving it down and altering it to its rightful look. Thanks again everyone for the responses!  |
