To be fair, the lines will be in scale with one another, so, it may not look as ridiculous to play/display together as it did with RA/DA...

It's a tough call when someone gets a Basic in wave 1 and an Elite in wave 2 or 3... Guess I'll get some of both and see which ones I like better. As it was said, though, they've done us all a great service by having the two lines be in scale with each other.

For those that play/pose you may want to get that elite figure that gives you that move you need. But for wrestlers with limited moves( cena ) you can just get the basic figures. Really something Jakks shoulda followed through on instead of wants again making people spend money for a new style. Personally howver, judging from the entrance greats I would think that the basic style will be part of the legends line.

I'll just buy whatever I like from each, the fact that they are all in scale is just groovy. Thank you Mattel.

Strictly financially speaking, I'd rather them make the Legends line their basic style.
Their regular elite figures will be $15, if you include the extra costs that will go with the Legends contracts and such, you may be looking at $20 per figure!!!
Either way, I'll only be buying the Legends that they make that Jakks weren't able to.

I'm gonna be brave and go after Basic and Elite..
Basic is gonna have a bigger roster at the end of the year..
But Elite is seriously just waay to good to pass up.. For playability and Display.
