UFC 103: Rich Franklin vs. Vitor Belfort UFC 102: Antonio Nogueira vs. Randy Couture UFC 101: Anderson Silva vs. Forrest Griffin UFC 101: BJ Penn vs. Kenny Florian
Not bad IMO but Ill still watch Strikeforce for the most part...

damnit..
that is a very nice list of fights.
I haven't seen Rich/Belfort, Nog/Couture...and I heard the Couture fight is one of the best this year...and I have to see Belfort vs. Rich. I've seen Silva/ Forrest and Florian/Penn.....I've actually seen the Silva/Forrest fight about 15 times...but I wouldn't mind watching it again..
very nice list of fights to counter Strikeforce with..but I still think I want to watch Strikeforce instead...I mean Fedor vs. Rogers? That is a crazy ass fight...Rogers dumbass is doing a pretty good job of hyping it up, too. I don't know, sounds like it'll be a great night of MMA fights for me either way.

Countering Fedor vs Rogers, yes?
Hmm... Belfort/Franklin sucked (no bias at all...), Nog/Couture is one of the best fights I have ever seen, Silva/Griffin sucked and Penn/Florian was a good fight, but Penn looked out of this world, thus making Florian's performance look worse than it actually was.

What a great idea.
Strikeforce hasn't really been promoted that much, UFC is a huge brand & so might really effect the figures for the Strikeforce event.

UFC tried countering EliteXC... and elitec still had like what a 7million viewers? A Cable Channel can't counter network tv... But you sure can try!

Ill be watching strikeforce, live fights are always better than a rerun. Good call though.

It's no real question for me. I'll be watching Strikeforce for sure. Decent list of fights though.

I am still watching Strikeforce, but it's good for UFC to still try and steal viewers which I am sure they still will

It was a poor run company, however it still did major ratings.. Strikeforce on the other hand actually makes money and has been around for quite some time...

...I forget, where is EliteXC now? It was a poor run company, however it still did major ratings.. Strikeforce on the other hand actually makes money and has been around for quite some time... UFC has done a good job of putting pressure on other MMA companies to the point that they make huge financial risks that end up not paying off. I'm not saying Strikeforce is one of those companies but to say that the UFC hasn't been successful with their tactics is just silly...

I'm not saying Strikeforce is one of those companies but to say that the UFC hasn't been successful with their tactics is just silly... UFC's counter-programming wasn't the cause of EliteXC's death, though. EliteXC killed itself with stupidity. If the UFC never existed and EliteXC was the monopoly, they still would have died, because they had no clue how to run their promotion.
