Hey,
Yesterday I picked up the UFC #100 DVD and I am making my way through it and I just finished watching the Hendo/Bisping fight.
Much to my disappointment, on the replay, they completely edited out the jumping hammerfist that Hendo crushed Bisping with. You know the one I am talking about. The one that sealed the deal.
I have the live version of UFC #100 as well and they showed the full replay of both shots a few times over.
However, on the official DVD, they just show one replay of the first right-hand that dropped Bisping flat and that's it. No replay at all of the 2nd and certainly more vicious, jumping fist-drop to Bisping's face.
I thought it was stupid for them to edit something as spectacular as that was out. The really should've left that in because it was awesome.
I wonder if it'll be in it's entirity on the Blu-Ray version of UFC #100. I have my doubts, but you never know.
Anyways, just wanted to give you guys a heads-up on that. If anyone has the Blu-Ray version, let me know if it is edited as well. Thanks.
*Edit*
Ok, I just finished watching it and noticed a few more things that were edited out from the live version.
When Joe Rogan is interviewing GSP after his victory over Thiago Alves, they edited out his question to GSP about moving up in weight and the possibility of taking on Anderson Silva.
All of that is edited right out, which is disappointing because I thought that was very interesting to see what GSP had to say about it.
Now, onto the main event of Brock Lesnar/Frank Mir II. More stuff they edited out was the double finger shot from Brock to the crowd after he won. See my sig. That's a screen-cap I took from the live version I recorded on DVD.
They also edited out the Coors Light/Bud Light comments from Brock, but left the stuff about him getting on top of his wife in.
So, overall, I am pretty disappointed they edited so much good stuff out. I mean, come on here. This is UFC #100. They should've kept everything in because it was a history making event.
If the Blu-Ray version is complete with everything, I might consider picking it up, but if not, then forget about it. Won't be worth it.
