Mattel sure do like "celebrating", haha. I'm liking the attitude that PJ gave for this. It does sound like Mattel is very concerned and focused on delivering what we, the fans, want.
I can't wait for January!

From what I could see, everything looked great. I was hoping for some close ups on the figures. Still torn between the basic and the elite.

Truly some damn cool stuff along with a nice guy in charge. I've said it before and I'll say it again... I love how Mattel caters to the collectors and the kids. They're going to kick off the line with a bang and I look forward to buying their product.

Great vids, lots of nice info from PJ: - Cool that their will be more new 1:1000 belts. - Elite taker looks really nice, glad they seem to have tatoos as a main point. -Yay first question there coming... - Cool the belts maybe the same die cast style ;D - Fast tracking the PPV series and new guys sounds good.

Really diggin this new line. PJ seems like a straight up guy. that's awesome that the ring gear is removable. Well at least we have a choice as to whether or not we want elite or basic and it wont effect the size.

Mattel seem to know what they're doing. We're not getting random ass pipes, leaf blowers, or COOKIE SHEETS - those things nobody really wants, and they just up the cost of production. There's definitely going to be a demand for the belts and the regular accessories....maybe they can throw in a chair for someone who isn't gonna be hot seller? That could help out.
Otherwise, Ring Gear looks to be making a return. Perhaps they could do a special Night of Champions boxset that debuts the belts.
I hope they get the scaled ring out ASAP. Jakks did a tremendous job with the Real Scale ring concept so they'd really have to deliver on it to make me buy another ring.
Those Entrance Greats are amazing. They're gonna be very pricey, though.
I like that the 1 of 1,000 belts, as strange looking as they are, are individually numbered. That's actually pretty cool. I just hope I can walk into Walmart on 1/1/10 and actually find the product on the shelves. I want all of those 2-packs.
I'm not too fond of how the elites look. I just wish they were the same style as basic but with all the extra stuff. At least we can get a really kick ass John Morrison this way.
Nice start, Mattel.

That cameraman needs to be fired, anytime there was a chance for a close up, he zoomed out... Would have been good to see some proper close ups of Taker, Batista and Punk. I'm really liking the window on the back, nice little addition. But going by the Taker without the jacket, it doesn't really look like anything special, same with Batista. The music is a bad addition, its not even needed, they're already highly detailed enough to the point where nothing else besides a stand is needed. Flex Force Punk is missing detail on his boots, tut tut tut, those Flex Force figures are gonna be broken in stores.
Anyone know the real reason why the airholes were in the side?!

I loved Mattel when I collected Masters of the Universe figures in my childhood, I loved Mattel when they brought out Marshall Bravestarr, I loved Mattel when they brought out the awesome Masters of the Universe classics and now I love them for giving me the feeling, that they really care about the customer/collector and for producing such awesome figures! I only collected CS up to now, but with Mattel producing really good figures of the current roster, I´ll definitely collect them as well. Thank god, that I´ve got a well paid job
