I've been wanting to do this, but, had to wait for a weekend I'm home from school... So, here it is...
Here's a censored pic of some of the protos bobsagetbrigade has provided us with(should be allowed):
Out of the proto's we've seen, I chose the three with the biggest height differences(Chris Jericho, Evan Bourne, and CM Punk; each with the tall kicker mold from Jakks...hm...)
You can clearly see here that each of the figures come to the eyeish range to it's Jakks equivalent(1 and a half inches, my bum.)
Now, here's the do-it-yourself game, get out your Evan Bournes, Chris Jericho's and CM Punk's if you have them... Then, compare some other figures to them.
Here's a good one to try, take an older Jericho with the short kickpad mold, he comes to just about the EXACT same spot the Mattel one does... Hmmm...
I have just taken a John Morrison RA, RA37 MVP, and the MITB Playset Jeff Hardy and they all come to somewhere between the eyes and forehead of Bourne and Jericho.
Perhaps the scale isn't as different as everyone thought/thinks. The only problem I see is, the tall kicker mold Jakks uses, should really only be used for Kane and Taker(and Kane doesn't even get them, ain't that a kick?!)
Hopes this helps. I don't have the time currently, but, everyone feel free to post some comparison pics to these figs if they have them.
