I love almost Everything about TNA. The matches are great. They have a credible tag team and knockouts division. And they don't constantly recycle feuds. But their booking is just horrendous.
After watching last Thursday's Impact and hearing the main event for the next PPV, I just don't get what goes through the minds of TNA management. The champion AJ Styles is defending his belt against two men who just LOST their matches at the biggest event of the year BFG. Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to this match, and I think it's going to be great. I just would've just rather had them win some kind of match to qualify for a title shot. I can understand having Joe in the match to some degree. He's been in some high-profile matches recently. But Daniels hasn't really done much of anything since returning.
I don't want see another feud based on the good matches that happened years ago.

I can agree on both accounts.
It was random and pretty much makes no sense that the match is occurring, so I agree with the original question/comment. However most people are entirely too hyped about this match, to even care why.

I think it makes perfect sense, with the theme of Kurt's speech, and this whole resurgence of understanding that in order for TNA to make it huge, they need to innovate the crapout of their programming, and they will really only accomplish that by letting their true performers wrestle.
I thought it was a pretty smart move.

I thought it was a pretty smart move. Okay, so I'm not crazy after all! I thought the same exact thing and had someone that I told (not anyone posting here) what I thought and he thought I had flipped my lid lol.
