Personally I'd like to see him get into a feud with Matt Hardy or Christian. Just a one on one feud, not title. Last time Punk was in a regular feud was with Umaga and that was horrible. I would like to see what Punk can do when it's not for the championship.

Punk is doing nothing, you can thank me later for the spoiler. Well as of now he just main evented about the last 5 ppvs. So hold ur horses. Besides, i dont see it staying Show vs. Taker 1 on 1. I agree he may be done in the main event for now but only time will tell, and when its time for him to go up again it will be a seamless step. |

He comes out and sings the praises of all the veterans in the WWE, later on Josh Matthews asks him about that, and Punk admits he was wrong, Bryan Danielson comes in and introduces himself as Franklin Byron, tells Punk he's been following his career for years, Punk shakes his hand, "Franklin" leaves, but then attacks Punk.

he'll either worm his way into the ss main event or be in a 5 on 5 tag match. and to the people who said now that the "big dogs are back" punk wont do anything, that is wrong because in my opinion punk is the best main event option on smackdown. think about it, taker isnt likely to go one on one with anyone for longer than 15 mins due to him being in shoddy shape, batista just never wrestles longer than 20 mins, rey hasnt been seriously considered in a world title match for a long time, and jericho is stuck on raw with his tag titles whereas punk can do all those things the previous four couldnt. expect to see punk main eventing for a long time.
just for anyone who fancies a quote in their sig, if punk isnt in a world title match at 'mania 26, i'll eat my own dick

Seriously, I believe Punk will either feud with Morrison or Hardy in a nice upper-midcard singles feud fueled by personal issues(again) or maybe weasel his way into a 5-man scramble match at SS with Show/Jericho/Taker and Tista. I look for Rey to be taking time off from that PPV to sell a big beating by Batista. |

Yes Punk is ging to be doing Nothing now, every week... He'll just be sitting in the backstage area going "duh um can i gets a match Teddy?? peez?"  He will continue to be in the WHC title picture. Simple as that. |

Another feud with Morrison. They have great matches every time. I'm hoping he still lingers around the main event scene for awhile longer, cause he was great in that role. I was think we would get him and Taker one last time, but instead we get Big Show...again.

He'll be back in the picture after SS or through some sort of twist, during SS.
Batista is busy w/ Rey, and they won't give the WHC to Batista until he can prove he's durable enough.
Big Show won't win because he's been a Tag Champ for like 4 months now.
So unless Edge is coming back this month, Punk will be back in the WHC picture very soon, if he's still not in it.

He'll still be in the title picture... he won't just start randomly feuding with Matt Hardy - and besides which, Matt Hardy is more or less irrelevant, anyway. There must be a reason why Vince has been appearing on Smackdown, more or less only to be around Punk... Punk is going nowhere. Hopefully his release from WWE... Go back to the MMA boards.. |
