TNA Ratings:
October 15 - 0.9 October 22 - 1.1 October 29 - 1.2 (Last show before Hogan) November 5 - 1.4 (Debut of Hogan)
.... Is it really worth it? If TNA wants to do something crazy, make the show live every week. Its hard to read spoilers if its live, hence more people tuning in.

Oh and, is this the first time in WF history that the TNA board has got more viewing than the WWE board?

Oh and, is this the first time in WF history that the TNA board has got more viewing than the WWE board? How would we know who's viewing one more than the other? And no, this board was in a crazy UPROAR when Angle signed. I would still say it's TNA's biggest signing and moment. Reason being that Angle is still a great talent and isn't washed up. - Triple S

To everyone saying this will bring the end of TNA ala WCW 2000.....the difference is that TNA does not have it's primary financers pulling away from it...which imo is what truly killed WCW.

Everyone keeps saying that, but I don't buy it. Nash isn't booking.. Russo and Hogan/Bischoff aren't on good terms. In fact, I've read in a lot of places that Hogan would only come to TNA if Russo left. My guess is, Russo will be gone or will be removed as the head booker. I would be a fool to say that this isn't exciting news for TNA. They can now become viable competition to WWE in a sense, because that is what they've been going for all along. I don't agree that they should be doing that, but it is what it is. I like other people on this board view the best part about this signing is Bischoff. I am undecided. As you all should be. Its easy to judge but we really don't know what Hogan in TNA means just yet. We really don't..

this is fantastic. i'm not even joking. i'm excited. i think the graphics they've made are horrible for him, but TNA can pull it off right now.
i would of prefered RVD and Paul Heyman but whatever.

Russo isn't leaving.
"The Q&A session was said to mostly be fluff fan type questions, although one fan did ask Hogan whether working with Vince Russo would be an issue. Hogan responded that as long as Russo stayed in his place and didn't cross him, there would be no issues. Hogan then said that if he did, Hogan would have to take care of it. "

This is pretty awesome news. Now if only they could get Goldberg and RVD, I'll love wrestling again.

Holy shit, I'm in complete shock.
Although I hate Hulk Hogan, and am against the signing of talentless has-beens, I somehow approve of this....
Maybe I'm just fed up with TNA and have given up hope on them ever going back to being about showcasing wrestlers with actual talent since they've done nothing but sign WWE-rejects and has-beens the past few years, so I mine as well take it for what it's worth and try watching it as if it's just a version of WCW from when I was younger. Reliving my child hood by seeing these wrestlers from the '90's I guess? Although I'm not a fan of any of them, it just reminds me of when I was growing up, so whatever.

As noted earlier this afternoon, Eric Bischoff is reportedly joining Total Nonstop Action Wrestling alongside Hulk Hogan. The former Vice President of World Championship Wrestling has been quite critical of the organization in recent years as he's questioned their creative direction and labeled them as a minor league operation. Most recently, Bischoff told The Sun in a February 2009 interview that him nor Hogan were interested in joining TNA.
"It's a small organization that doesn't have very much vision," Bischoff said.
Bischoff said he didn't want to work with people in the creative process "that couldn't get a job in WWE or shouldn't have had a job in WCW."
Bischoff continued: "There's no vision for that company. They are people who have never been to the dance. They've never been a part, really, of any of the decision-making processes that led to the success of the industry. Some of them happen to have been working there while other people did it, but have never really done it for themselves. They just don't have the feel for it. So that's the reason we wouldn't want to be there."
