there is no better time to sign him then now. theyre pushing more TNA-ish stars like Morgan, Styles, Joe, Daniels, and no McGuinness. people are gonna tune into to see Hogan, and then see AJ 450 someone.
GENIUS MOVE.

TNA needs to do their first show with Hogan live if they want to bring in viewers.
And here is my prediction of his first encounter in the iMPACT zone..
Eric Young is out in the ring cutting a promo, and Hogan comes out and asks, "what are you doing with my Legends title"
blah blahblah rest is history

from the tna site:
Through Hogan’s partnership with Bischoff Hervey Entertainment Television, the deal with TNA was negotiated by longtime Hogan colleague Eric Bischoff. Additionally, BHE TV has inked a first-look deal with TNA and will be working with the organization to develop new programming extensions of the TNA brand.
This is pretty huge

GENIUS MOVE. That's a really good point. Hopefully that's TNAs logic...and they don't just go with "HOGAN = RATIINGS... AJ AS CHAMP"

As noted earlier this afternoon, Eric Bischoff is reportedly joining Total Nonstop Action Wrestling alongside Hulk Hogan. The former Vice President of World Championship Wrestling has been quite critical of the organization in recent years as he's questioned their creative direction and labeled them as a minor league operation. Most recently, Bischoff told The Sun in a February 2009 interview that him nor Hogan were interested in joining TNA. "It's a small organization that doesn't have very much vision," Bischoff said. Bischoff said he didn't want to work with people in the creative process "that couldn't get a job in WWE or shouldn't have had a job in WCW." Bischoff continued: "There's no vision for that company. They are people who have never been to the dance. They've never been a part, really, of any of the decision-making processes that led to the success of the industry. Some of them happen to have been working there while other people did it, but have never really done it for themselves. They just don't have the feel for it. So that's the reason we wouldn't want to be there." I had forgotten all about that........ Bischoff is supposedly involved on the business/media end, apparently having no involvement in day to day ops. Bisch is good at all that stuff too-sounds good to me

Wow I'm shocked, I think hogan could do so much to help TNA. Hogan on wrestling does = more ratings so I expect him to have a huge role on TV. And if he takes the title and starts trying to relive the glory days this will be bad for TNA. BUT if he goes and puts over young talent like Joe, AJ...etc then this could be huge for TNA.

Holy cow, just got home from work and saw this
Regardless on if you like Hogan or not (life long Hulkamaniac here), this is going to get TNA some major exposure. Just like Hogan gave life to WCW, he's going to do the same to TNA.

Now, I HATE Hogan, but I am really very excited about this. This is so huge. I LOVE the fact that Bischoff has signed also. He needs to die his hair black, STAT and get into character. As long as Hogan doesn't run wild through all the established talent, I think he can help the business.
Has anyone thought about the fact that Hogan is going to be on Larry King, and several other shows in the next couple of days? This is going to be WONDERFUL advertising for TNA.
Finally...can we get a Starrcade 1997 rematch with Sting cleanly pinning Hogan or Hogan tapping to the deathlock?

I don't want to sound like I'm hoping this fails, because I'm not. If this is successful, then that's great. I'm just not getting my hopes up.

I'm amazed to see that TNA pulled this off. But Hogan needs to just hang it up. He had his time now move over and let someone else take over. I can't see Hogan keeping up with any of the young guys. Man, I hope Nigel knocks his head off.
