You cant win when your 2 best offensive players score 10 points and shot 4-20 from the field.
This is a game they could have stolen, but had no business winning.
Thursday should be better, this series is going 7

I'm actually loving this series so far. It's the first time in a REALLY REALLY long time I've said that about the NBA Finals.

Rondo gets too friggin timid when he gets fouled or just out of the blue, hes like 2 totally different players. He should have been driving all night long, especially with Allen and Pierce sucking tonight.
They are going to right to Pierce and Allen Thursday to get them going as soon as they can.
Really strange game.

BTW, Pierce realy needs to stop making predictions. Wasnt really a prediction, he was yelling at Perkins to get him going and people heard it. I dont blame him for being confident, if he said it during a press conference....thats one thing, but on the court, during a game? Come on

The Celtics deserved to lose tonight after that poor defense on that one drive by Fisher. They looked like they basically gave up. Hopefully next game is better. They need to grab damn rebounds both offensively and defensively.
Allen was basically gone, Garnett was great tonight, and Pierce seemed to show up late to the party. They need the next two.

both teams need the next 2 games so it's silly to say that
Lakers played some great defense tonight but their offense suffered in the second half.. we were killing them in the first half, but we got lazy and complacent.. no excuses.. a win is a win and that last 4-5 minutes was solid, but this was by no means a complete game by the Lakers..

All the importants stats our saying Los Lakers will win a second straight(Phil's First Win of a Series Streak and Winner of Game 3 in a 1-1 NBA Finals Series has won the Title 10 out of 10 times) NBA Championship for us in Lakers Nation, but they still need to get a lead and maintain it.
Too many times this year and in 2008 the Lakers got a nice lead, only to fumble it and either lose or almost lose the game.

Too many times this year and in 2008 the Lakers got a nice lead, only to fumble it and either lose or almost lose the game. That dont mean poop. ANYTHING can happen. Last time i checked, i heard something similar about The Patriots heading into the SuperBowl against The G-MEN. "They're 18-0, NY has no ing chance". Boy did they prove just about the whole world wrong (and this is coming from a NE fan). 2004 ALCS come to mind? Out of 26 teams, The Red Sox were the first to force a game seven after being in a 3-0 deficit, and they en won. They won the World Series too by the way. This is the exact same reason why they're going to lose. They think they have it in the bag now just because of some ridiculous statistics. Plus, undefeated streaks are bound to be broken sometime.

Well, after seeing Fisher score 8 in the 4th followed by Odom and Gasol points in the paint... coupled with memories of the 2004 and 2008 Finals... I can't help but feel Kobe is the most over rated superstar I've ever seen. Even if he closes this one out it's irrelevant, he's played so selfishly and shot such poor looks all night to allow this game to be close. While Kobe is always dependent on a big man, you will have a hard time convincing even the biggest know-nothing, bandwagon Laker fan that he won his 2 most recent championships because of soft Spaniards. The Old Celtics are playing in the series right now but we need the Experienced Celtics to show up ASAP.

So the series is over? It's best of 3 because of important stats?
Guess I should go get ready for football then, you should probably tell the Celtics the series is over

This should be easily a Game 7, I'll give the Lakers a 60 to 40 chance of winning the last game.

2004 kobe needs to never show up again, terrible shot selection the entire game.
Fish was MONEY in the clutch.
