sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4731136Shaq's comment might be a bit over the top, but then again, LeBron has taken some pretty crappy/scrub filled teams to the Finals and Conference Finals and never played for a losing team. Players appear to believe in playing next to him, coaching is another story though. But yea, I'd say this solidifies that Mike Brown... sucks and always has. How he never addressed their defensive failure against Orlando last year when they played all those games in that series still boggles my mind.

Iverson is trying to get his, and that's hurting his team. What else is new? Iverson took only ten shots last night in the loss.. Last night is an exception rather than the rule. Even after joining the team 20 games into the season, I expect AI to lead the team in total FGAs and TOs before the end of the year...

Shaq's the master of building up his current teammates.
Two years ago he said Amare Stoudemire was the best all-around 4 in the league because (and I quote) "KG doesn't play any defense."
Guess who won DPOY that very same season?

Right, LeBron must not have a great basketball IQ... you're right again! Sorry I posted it

who cares, we're all wrong in your book and your lists claiming Danny Granger is better than Carmelo induce moments of rage and aggression from you when you're prompted to acknowledge such statements for the sake of the literal hobby of talking basketball... and the most recent flip flop approach towards his Sixers comment was just as atrocious in succession to this. One second you're clearly and entirely blaming Iverson, the next, after it's pointed out that you made absolutely no sense, your'e like well that's not actually the case right now but it is because I say so it is and will be. Great...
if you can't be productive to the environment in such situations and in turn claim I'm some terrible detriment to the situation then what good are you and why do you bother to come here?

Last time I'm responding to any comments you make directly towards me (talk about "the sake of the literal hobby of talking basketball" -- another huge LOL from me).
And it's just to say one more time, leave me alone. Talk about the game.
Enough already.

You claim "Enough already?" I claim, it should have been enough when you initially said Danny Granger was better than Carmelo or when BV told you Iverson only attempted 10 shots... YOU are the one who can't show a shred of inferiority... AKA inferiority complex. I would talk about the game but this thread is ed now... ironically enough after you've had to eat your words and in turn shown the lack of ability to accept possibly being wrong and in turn berated others with your nonsensical attempts at making good on insufficient claims with more illogical theories and break downs of why you said something at the time but shouldn't be held accountable when it's not true later... JUST like the Jameer Nelson crap from last year... lame.

obviously.
I tried to let it die and never called him out again.
just saying, he keeps saying he's done talking to me or leave him alone but then I post news about Lebron and he talks about it with some cynical approach.
there is no winning in situations where somebody has issues with themselves. you're guilty by association, even if you've behaved.

Through the first round of All Star voting, Tracy McGrady is currently starting for the West. I can assure you I'll be contributing to that effort (similar to the campaign to vote Starbury into the ASG last season during his exile from the Knicks).

exactly, he's arguably the best under 6 foot player to ever step on the court. not to mention since he's come there he's played team the team ball people are calling for. yet they still hate.

Funny McHale quote from the other day:
I definitely think today's players are every bit as good as players from other eras, but the attitude players had even 20 years ago is so much better than today's it's ridiculous.

The 76ers are so bad, it's frustrating. They have lost 11 in a row and are a few games behind the Knicks of all teams. AI is struggling so far, but I'm willing to give him time. Andre Iguodala is a really frustrating player. He always shoots it down the stretch and always misses. Like last night, he missed a wide-open 3 at the end. After Iverson tied up the game, he didn't get another shot. Ugh. Iverson is trying to get his, and that's hurting his team. What else is new? What's hurting the team is that Brand, Iguodala, and Dalembert are beyond overpaid, and they're stuck with garbage. Iverson hasn't done anything so far to make them lose; they were on a 9-game losing streak before he played for them. And lol @ Tracy McGrady starting for the all-star team if voting ended now. Even Aaron Brooks has more votes than people like Deron Williams and Brandon Roy. Iverson isn't doing too poorly either considering he has played five games, plus he "retired".

I'll copy and paste my response on another site about the Lebon/McHale thing.
Honestly, I kind of like McHale's response to it. I'm not a fan of all of Lebrons pre-game and post-game celebrations, and antics.
I would be happy to give him a hard foul. Sure, beating him would be the ultimate answer, but it's not always possible, but even if my team was bad, I would be damned if I would let him humiliate me. Winning and losing with dignity is something that Lebron has yet to get a handle on.

I'm hoping Gortat really is on the market because that's a guy the Blazers could really use right now.

From what I've heard, neither Gortat or Bass (both of whom are struggling and overpaid for the amount of PT they receive) are on the market because Orlando likes having them for depth and isn't concerned with the luxury tax. I think Gortat is more likely to be traded this offseason, but he'd obviously give any team (besides Dallas) much-needed depth at both the center and power forward positions.

Well, to be fair, Aaron Brooks is having a great season so far, he's given the go to be their guy at the guard spots and he's ran with it. I doubt he keeps up the good play once McGrady comes back though.
