Kobe dropped 42 on the Bulls with a broken finger. Great.

What a first quarter by Kobe. 20pts on 8-12 shooting.

Maybe my fandom is showing, but it sure seems like Hubie Brown is being overly-critical of the Thunder on ESPN. I understand that they're not the Lakers or Celtics, but they're not the Pacers either.

Hubie is critical of everything... even when teams are up by 20 he'll rant like "they've been excellent in the first half on the boards, crashing and getting the ball out of the paint and getting high percentage shots, overall playing their style of basketball to the fullest- Now, if we can just get a few less turnovers and more two handed passes things will really be excellent"
Hubie is the man but you know it had to kill him back in 06 when Miami won and Jason Williams played his butt off in some of those Finals games.

Not to double post but I'm double posting;
I dunno when the patch for NBA Live came out (I just finished Finals and all that crap), but it's a tremendous upgrade to the game. The CPU point guards are less predictable and won't hesitate to shoot or drive if you're not paying close attention. They also won't hesitate to pass off real fast if you run to D them up after not playing attention.
I played my Dynamic Season last night, replayed the Orlando-Utah game from last Thursday and the Knicks and Bobcats from last night... played like a dream.

Yeah right now I'm stuck with 2k10, but I plan on getting Live 10 around Christmas. Sounds like such an improvement from the previous games.

Honestly, I traded 2K10 for Live 10, and I'm considering going back to 2K9. Leaps and bounds better than either of this years' releases.
Mavs scored 29pts in the last 7:30 of the 4th against OKC tonight... nice.

Kobe never seems to miss a game winning shot.

Kobe is still breaking hearts all over the league. Just buried the Bucks at the OT buzzer.

the OT and 4th quarter shots were exactly the same on the same player. He abused them.
2K9 is trash honestly. It's the same crap every possession and the engine is the same engine from the ps2 days just added on to. There's no difference while playing the same match up over and over.

I'm just pretty bored with the arcade style of Live 10, not to mention their awful trading engine and inaccuracies with contracts. 2k9 and 2k10 are both a lot more realistic and challenging to me as a player -- not to mention a lot more fun with the GM aspect.
I'll see how much money I have after the holidays -- I might be stuck with Live 10 for a while though.

Kobe traveled and should have been called for an offensive foul last night, but it was on the road, so I guess his pull is very impressive

Almost every top-tier player is going to get calls during crunch time -- that argument is pretty tired if you ask me.

my whole thing with Kobe is... ok you broke your finger, now you're mad and playing for real now? Why couldn't you do that in that Dallas game you should have won earlier in the year?
Then he's coming out calling it his most painful injury ever and making it out to be really painful. If you're not showing it on the court through your play or emotions, it's harder to believe you when you say this after you drop 40. I've just always found him very fake and offsetting in terms of current events.
With the schedule and roster the Lakers have, they should be undefeated or have 1 loss max right now.
Carmelo has been the best in the league this year but Kobe is making a push with his recent week. It's just hard to watch and look at Cleveland and feel like it's the same unity and focus as last year. I think LeBron is sick and tired of the weak coaching and support system. Although he's upped his play this week, he still appears to be going through the motions some what.
Carmelo has the NBA on lock for the first month and a half, Paul Pierce has actually been really impressive too in terms of what he's meant to that team even through their lower point into this streak. But it's fairly obvious, especially after last year's playoff run, that Carmelo is a top 3 or 4 player in the NBA, barring an unconventional circumstance, from here on out.

Regardless of the argument being "tired" the call is still bad and wrong and cost the Bucks the game and not to mention wasnt even close

Woooooooo, 76ers beat the Celtics, and without Iverson. Brand played well for once. One-point victory, but it makes it that much sweeter. 76ers are on fire now for their standards, going 2-1 in their last three games.
