Garnett was a bit over the top, but Howard swings those elbows like his job.

Do the salary caps include coach salaries or can teams pretty much pay them what they want?

Celtics didnt even choke, they played sloppy ALL game, they were playing down to Orlando's level.
They should have been down 20 the way they were missing shots and turning the ball over. When Rondo is in foul trouble he gets timid and we get in trouble

The Bosh going to L.A talk is total nonsense IMO. Gasol is one of the best big men in the NBA, and hes only 29. Why mess with his chemistry with Kobe. As for Bynum, I know hes injury prone, and average offensively, but Bosh would be a downgrade defensively. I can't see Bosh and Gasol playing on the same team, so probably wont happen.
Instead of Bosh, the Lakers should be looking for a PG. That is their biggest weakness.

they should go after Raymond Felton- he'd be a good fit.
still re sign fish though to come off the bench.

I think Mike Brown is a bad coach, but he got the SHAFT by the Cavs.
Obviously it was 100% Lebron motivated, but damn

I agree that if you are winning the West and (possibly) back-to-back championships, you shouldn't drastically alter the makeup of your team in the offseason, especially if it means trading away a true center to get a PF that might not even be a good fit next to Gasol and Kobe, considering he's a first-option caliber scorer that isn't going to want to be relegated to third option. The PG situation in LA is a little worrysome, but Fisher seems to be playing well since getting called old against Westbrook. I think he can probably give the Lakers one more year at his current level but they need to start thinking about getting a legit backup. The Lakers' current system indicates that the biggest needs from the PG position are 3-point shooting and defense. From this years' FA class Steve Blake sounds like a great fit. I think Felton is out of their price range unless they do a sign-and-trade for him, but what would they be willing to trade that the Bobcats would want? In a vaccuum Felton seems like he'd be a pretty good fit though. I think Mike Brown is a bad coach, but he got the SHAFT by the Cavs. Obviously it was 100% Lebron motivated, but damn He definitely got the shaft -- it seems like he got fired based off of one playoff series and to be honest, I don't really see how anyone could beat the Celtics right now except for the Lakers. But there is enough blame to go around for how that series ended and it's a shame that Brown is becoming the only scapegoat. I wouldn't be surprised if he was coaching again as soon as next season -- keep in mind, the last two seasons his teams won 66 and 61 games. That won't go overlooked.

If you're a bad employee who is doing a bad job, especially in comparison to others, getting fired is appropriate.
Let's not forget this is two conference finals he didn't make any adjustment or get it done in.
Last year against Orlando, he should have been fired after that.
The guy just can't coach, those mic'd up segments were terrible, all of them. He constantly looks clueless and they've run the same plays and system for years. His substitution patterns are horrendous and even in his interviews he comes off clueless.
LeBron ran that team anyway. That's why once all the fun and games stopped and LeBron looked distant during the playoffs, they fell apart. Mike Brown did nothing, he deserves to be fired. His next job will show that.

I hope Orlando wins tonight but I'm not at all expecting it.
I just hope the Finals series is actually good. Is this the worst postseason in NBA history?

The playoffs have been pretty bad, but if the Magic win tonight, you'd have both of the conference finals going at least 6 games. Who knows if the Finals don't turn out to be epic.
If that happens, it definitely wouldn't be the worst.

Pretty ing disgraceful T'ing Perkins up AGAIN to toss him in a game like this, especially over such a BULLcrapcall. What a joke, the Celtics are playing bad enough, they dont need the refs against them too
