I am more nervous this year than in 2008, but yeah I think Boston can win this. Bynum just does not scare me, he really is ed up. Artest worries me, but hopefully Perkin's/Rasheeds stupidity can get Artest riled up too.

With drew facing a possible trade to Toronto i expect him to play pretty well.
All those shots that perkins n sheed forced howard to take are shots bynum will hit.

I like the Celtics chances if they win one of the first two.
In fact, if they steal homecourt I really can't see them losing the series.

Howard hit quite a few shots and was the leading scorer in all the games if I am not mistaken. Bynum is hurt and probably wont be able to deal with Garnett defensively, he should score if he has Perkins, but Perkins should do the same and then some

Rondo will be the x-factor. Other than maybe Kobe, no one will be able to keep up with him.

Kobe is going to have his hands full because unlike the Thunder series, he's going to have to guard somebody tough the entire game and he won't be able to tell his team mates to switch off.
Kobe is either going to be chasing around Ray Allen, dealing with Paul Pierce or trying to stay in front of Rondo. Bottom line, the Lakers can't pull their usual crap this series. Especially in the first two games.
Considering Bynum is hurt and needs surgery (they are putting it off), and the Lakers have never faced a team with a defense as good as this who has an offense that demands YOUR best defense... I'd say if for anybody, the Lakers are facing the bigger challenge here.
If the Lakers lose this series, I'm sorry but last year's doesn't look that great.... Yao Ming was hurt and so were the Celtics. Maybe the big boys are back, like Pierce said on Twitter a year ago.

Leading scorer off put-backs and dunks. Bynum actually has more than 1 post move and he's 7 ft.
KG is well past his prime, gasol and odom should win that match-up easily. Oh and the celtics have no kobe stopper at all.
lake show should have this in 6.

No need to even argue this, even Knicker can jump in....but WHO WAS THE KOBE STOPPER 2 YEARS AGO? Answer This mother er right here!

Actually i remember them playing zone and kobe getting doubled every time he touched it.
this video explains it pretty well.
Anyway, what happened 2 years ago is 2 years. it doesn't really matter now.

Didnt mean to stretch the screen, but my point still stands. Pierce can guard Kobe and contain him, no one will stop him.

I mean they start off with saying "Double standards" Come on man, at least get something credible! Not something made by a pissed off Lakers fan

you can stretch the screen if it's a high resolution high quality shot like that. you can see the fibers on his jersey.
Look, I really don't know who is the best team right now. But I do know that the Lakers are more apt to have tiny problems that could blow this series.
The Celtics on the other hand can play flat some times.
As I said before, if the Celtics win one of those first two, I think that's everything. If Boston goes down 0-2, it's going to be too much against this LA team. But 1-1, going back to Boston, with homecourt... I like those odds for Boston.

The C's are the most unlikable team in basketball, maybe even in all of sports. They're a bunch of jackasses, drama queens and dipsh*ts. The only guy I like is Scalabrine and that's only becaue he makes me laugh.

Artest will be the difference maker in the series who will guard Pierce, and unlike 2008 there will be no Posey to stop Kobe.

Why do people hate Rondo? I get the KG and Pierce hatred (Not surprised the KG hatred picked up once he went to Boston) but why Rondo?
