And the sky is blue, thanks captain obvious! This is why they play 7 games. Thursday is a new day and hopefully Perkins can play I think it's more or less the bi-polar like Lakers who seem to be a different team at home, playing up to their potential/hype. They're just too big man, all they have to do is out rebound from here on out. I just can't see Boston winning 3 out of the last 4 games against the Lakers. I'd like to see it. But I'd also like to see the best team win and the best players play well, it's great for the league. 8 champions in 30 years with the Lakers winning 1/3rd of those championships cannot be great for the league. No wonder the NBA has been losing money.

But then again, the 2004 Detroit Championship and the 2008 Celtics championship were Godly like feelings for a lot of fans... especially Detroit. It makes the titles mean more, kinda like wrestling, when there are less champions. The NBA is losing money?

No wonder the NBA has been losing money. 26 of the 30 come from Lakers, Bulls, Pistons, Celtics, or Spurs which are the 5 most successful teams in the NBA. I dont think it necessarily hurts the NBA but you have a lot of teams like Golden State or Clippers that just seem to half ass and never piece things together.

Ralpho... I felt this way in 1994 except my SG was like 2-17 or something and did it again in game 7.
and we never had a title with that team. So imagine the pain if this Celtic team was on a longer run together, never won a title due to Jordan, then got there and crapped the bed in games 6 and 7.
At least you have your ring, if they end up losing game 7. I've been attentively watching for over 20 years and... nothing.

I will be very sad if they lose Thursday, then again, this is a team I wound up selling 50% of my tickets for this year because of how much of a disgrace they were. It really is remarkable what they have accomplished, and they can still win it.
The Lakers played their best game of the series tonight...together, on point, productive etc. No doubt.
Celtis played their worst game...injuries, flukey misses, just bad luck etc.
There is no way the Celtics play like that again, and now way the Lakers play THAT good again. Can the Lakers play upto their potential? Sure, but as dominant and ridicolous like that? No doubtful.
The Celtics are going to...they have no choice but to come out and just go nuts, play like they did against Cleveland and the other games this series. The key will be if the Lakers can either A) Stop it or play like they did tonight to combat it
The Celtics have WAY too much pride to play like they did tonight, hopefully the Lakers take their foot off the gas and underestimate a bit (Who knows, its possible) and the Celtics play like they are capable.
I am worried the momentum is going to crush the Celtics, but like I have been saying...this team was counted out against the Heat, against the Magic, Cavs and now the Lakers and they are in Game 7.
Anything is possible.

The C's are definitely an interesting bunch and a neat story to say the least. I think they proved that their half court defense is still the best in the league, but without winning the championship all that effort will be in vain. They were expected to be here at the beginning of the season with the goal of winning it all and anything less than that will be a failure. It doesn't matter how lack luster of a season they had and how they turned it around to beat the top two Eastern Conference teams on the road when the whole world counted them out IF...they don't bring home the trophy.
It's been a solid series, no great finishes and a couple of beat downs but nevertheless it's been the best Finals in many many years. I personally don't care who wins tomorrow, whoever plays the hardest and takes it all deserves it. I hope it's one for the ages though.

It reminds me a bit of the Giants in 2007 going all the way when each round people said they had no chance.
Game 7 from the Celtics point of view feels like going into the Superbowl against the monster the Lakers were tonight.
Celtics need to bring the defense from game 5 and make sure they get rebounds. It will help them score.
Maybe Kendrick Perkins is Jeremy Shockey.

It's crazy how the same team plays differently on any given night. Well, this should be great for the NBA, I'm sure all eyes will be glued to this. Get ready for a .4 rating TNA,lol. PS-anyone know the status of Perkins?

Like I said before the start of the finals, the Lakers in 7.... Although if Boston does win, who the hell would be the MVP?

Lakers and Celtics in the Finals has nothing to do with the league losing money. Fully guaranteed contracts at ludicrous amounts are what is killing some teams. I don't quite believe that they're losing as much as the $400M estimate that the owners are suggesting, but there are definitely some teams that are not being run well (expensive and NOT winning).

Whoever steps up and wins game 7 will be the Celtics MVP...Pierce, Rondo, KG or Allen.
If the Lakers win, its Kobe.

I think if Gasol has another big game it's gotta be him. But if Kobe has a great game, it's his.
Garnett has been for the Celtics slightly over Pierce, so far.
Gasol and Garnett's play have impacted their team's outcomes more than anyone so far.

"Listen, we're going to do whatever it takes to win," Rivers said. "Scalabrine can spread the floor for us. He can do things for us. There's a lot of options for us. They may not look like there's a lot, but there's more than you'd think in some of the rotations or lineups that we can create, that we may have to create. We're going to work on some of those today."
Uh oh, looks like we might get an epic Finals performance from Scalabrine. They've unleashed him.

Utah and the Magic have altered their logos. The Magic became more boring and the Jazz have reverted back to their classic musical note logo but with a different color scheme. Good for them but I still miss the purple.
