No, iMPACT isn't moving to Monday..
According to WrestleZone.com's own Mark Madden, TNA will be adding a second weekly show to their television schedule. When, you ask? Monday nights from 8-10PM ET. head-to-head with WWE's RAW.
While the timeframe isn't confirmed, we can report exclusively that a second show on Monday's from 8-10PM ET is in the plans.
We should have more on this breaking story soon. Keep checking back to the site for more information.
-------------
It says a 2nd show will be added to go Head to head with RAW.

Dixie is in way over her head. A complete waste of money, if you ask me.
Not only is she competing with RAW's first hour, but also ROH on HDNet. Which, from what I understand... is getting a small increase in viewers.

Here's my thought: How is it going to decrease viewing? Two wrestling shows on at once? People (i know I will) are just going to flip back and forth like they did with Nitro and RAW. It isn't going to hurt anything. I doubt they are going to beat RAW any time soon or ever, but it's not going to hurt the company.

Who said anything about fear?
Theres definitely ROH fans out there, that watch ROH on HDNet at 8pm, then RAW at 9pm until 11pm ( all Eastern time ).
You think with TNA running a show at that same time, they are going to choose TNA over ROH? Not a chance. ROH is doing fairly well right now, with what they are given. Most people that watch ROH, watch it because it's different and there isn't any "Hulk Hogan" or "Kevin Nash", etc. ROH has a lot of the original TNA fanbase. Fans that are looking for an alternative... not WWE-lite.
And on top of that, TNA might get those ROH fans for the 2nd hour of the "new show". But theres not a chance and WWE fan ( I like to call them "mainstream fans" ) will be tuning into TNA wrestling, rather than the first hour of Monday Night RAW. It's not a good idea.
If I were Dixie, i'd do one of two things:
1. Take a 2-hour slot on Wednesday nights, aka: the night of no wrestling.
2. Look into a 9-11pm slot on Tuesday nights, going head to head with WWE's ECW on SyFy.

As much as I'm exited for them to try and pull off another Monday Night War, I'm just really worried for TNA in what they're getting themselves into, they seem try and be this " Big time Professional looking " company, but yet I really doubt they have the funds to support them.
From what I've heard they only started to turn a profit in late 2007. And going by the buyrates and outside shows ( Like BFG which only got around 2.5k attendance ), I really doubt they'll pull it off well. It's going to drain alot of money out of them, for a company thats been getting the same audiences for over a couple of years now ( Going by Attendances, Ratings and Buyrates ).
But maybe this could be the move that does turn TNA to be a bigger company than they are, I still believe that doing shows at the Impact zone's costing them alot of potential money as they can't charge for attendance there... If they were to be on the road doing a weekly show and getting in a couple of thousand people they'd start upping the profits and interest. You could be the biggest company in the world but when you're confined to only one place majority of the year people aren't going to bother tbh.

Way too much IMO. Big signings, changes in the back, and now this? I REALLY see something backfiring.

I love reading all these updates as I have enjoyed the Impact shows over the past few weeks...I do feel that this might not be the best bet for them in the long run....a massive signing followed up for another tv slot seems like an overload. I hope they can pull it off for competitions sake though as I feel TNA has stepped up the wrestling a tad and made some great decisions (desmond wolfe for example)...so heres to it going well

I didn't laugh at that once. It was just a caption of essentially what's happening, with Z's added onto the end of everything.
