There has been rumors that TNA is planning an announcement that is "much bigger" than the announcement of Hogan/Bischoff. What do you guys think this is? The general feeling is a Monday night time slot.

That's the only thing I could see being bigger than signing Hogan.

The Rock or Austin signing. Or knowing TNA maybe even RVD. jk
--Although in reality I would say a primetime slot on Monday Nights against Raw.

Shane O' Mac. End of story. There isn't any question that him signing would shake what wrestling is right now to the ground.

God just imagine if Shane did sign over to TNA, what havoc would be caused.

Yeah the only thing that could possibly be bigger is if Shane bought TNA... or moving Impact to Mondays... maybe not bigger than signing Hogan but definitely dumber.

I would still say Angle coming over to TNA was bigger than Hogan. Angle was still working great within the WWE ( no signs of being washed up ). Angle was also in line for a push to the ECW title, before he left. The surprise video that was shown and how much the IWC blew up was unbelievable.
Hulk Hogan has shown MANY signs and did many interview, stating his interest in signing with TNA. So, that takes away the element of surprise. Hogan is also washed up and hasn't been relevant in professional wrestling, since his match with Shawn Michaels at SummerSlam. He also didn't jump ship or anything, like Angle did.
Now, I didn't even think about Shane... but that would be huge. Imagine Shane McMahon BUYING TNA and actually competing with his father, rather than just for a storyline... wow!

It probably won't be Shane since he is still working for WWE until January 1st. Unless he is going to work for both at the same time but I don't see that happening.

Doubt it will be bigger. Hopefully they signed RVD or Mr Kennedy, or both, and got a 2-hour live show on Monday Nights.
OR they moved out of the Impact zone and are gonna start to profit off TV shows.

Shane McMahon.
I doubt the Monday Timeslot will be the "BIG NEWS" since the plan of that has pretty much already been confirmed by TNA. So there would be no reason for them to be like, "And guess what guys? It gets even better!! NOT ONLY DID WE GET HOGAN AND BISCHOFF... BUT WE GOT THAT MONDAY TIME SLOT WE TOLD YOU ALL ABOUT". If that was the "big suprise" they wouldn't have let any info concerning the timeslot get leaked out in the first place, they would have just kept it as discreet as they did with Hogan and Bischoff getting signed without there being any rumors leaking out before it was official.

The Rock would have been a bigger signing. His notoriety rival's Hogan's due to the movie career and, unlike Old Leather Butt, Rock can actually do some outstanding things in the ring.
Of course, this will never happen because Johnson is making millions in Hollywood. Unless he develops many bad habits over the next few years, he'll only come back to wrestling because he wants to do so not because he has to whore himself out in his old age.
