One of my favorite bands. Such filthy synth.

To address the lack of Synth in the new song, I'd be lying if I didn't say I'm on the fence. I think you could have added it into the song and not really ruined it. At the same time, it was a new and somewhat refreshing sound to experience without it.
I guess I'll have to wait until I hear the rest of the album to see if it's a change I like. I did notice that EIIKM seemed to be lacking in the Synth, but I think that had more to do with strictly pop producers working on the album.
In Mark Hoppus We Trust.

Oh hell yes! Been waiting for a new album for a while. I loved EIIKM, but I felt it didn't live up to Commit This to Memory(which I loved). Disappear sounds awesome, great song as expected. Cannot wait for this new album, and the artwork and album title are awesome.

I find it interesting that even the members of the band view Commit This To Memory as the CD that should have come after EIIKM.
Like as far as their musical progression goes. I feel like the duel producers on the last album were trying to take all these somewhat negative things Justin was writing about and turn each one into an overly produced pop masterpeice, which doesn't fit the material.
Mark obviously gets where MCS is wanting to go, Music wise. So I'm sure a more mature MCS, mixed with a more mature Mark Hoppus will level out the two.
