Just made that yesterday, I knew I recognized the solo style when i first listened to No Time To Bleed.
You guys have any favorites?

"When I Come Around" slowed down = "Glycerine."

Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit intro sounds close to Boston - More Than A Feeling.
Video just for those who want to see..

Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit intro sounds close to Boston - More Than A Feeling. Video just for those who want to see.. You can also probably throw Blue Oyster Cult's "Godzilla" into the mix. I've heard that compared to Teen Spirit too. I have 2 here, but they're very esoteric to my music tastes, and all of you probably have never heard of one of the 2 bands. The chorus to "Face Down" by Jawbreaker sounds like the main riff from "I Am One" by the Smashing Pumpkins, and "American Idiot" by Green Day sounds like "Doublewhiskeycokenoice" by Dillinger Four. -CMD

Not guitar, but it. John Lennon - Imagine and Oasis- Don't Look Back In Anger. Since you mentioned Oasis..."Wonderwall" and OLP's "Superman's Dead."

He uses other songs as background music for SOME of his work, and it's with permission. It's not like he does it with every song, or he's claiming credit for the creation. He used "Sad But True" from Metallica for "American Bad Ass".

BUT ITS DIFFERENT! "In there's it goes dun dun dun dada dun dun. Mine's goes dun dun dun dada dun dun. See! That little part." Freddy Mercury's ghost begs to differ! Gene...I'm not hearing those being similar? I'll have to take another listen.

I'm pretty sure Steve Miller Band's opening to "Rock'n Me" was a tribute to Free's "All Right Now".
