Hey everyone, it's Leticia.
So as most of you know I have been competing in Maxim's 2008 Hometown
Hotties contest these past few months. This contest started with over
100,000 entries and last month I made it to the final 100. During
the month of July, I've been competing through maxim.com to become one of
the final 10.
So here are the results. Last week I received an email from Maxim saying
that I was unlucky 11 and was an alternate for the top ten. I was really
bummed about not making it to the next round and at the same time happy I
had made it so far.
But that all changed today when I got a call from Maxim telling me I am now
in the finals and am going to New Orleans to shoot for the magazine for 4
days!!!! I am not sure if someone fell caught a bad STD, someone had a sex
change, or if they miscounted the votes but I am thankful for the
opportunity.
So coming up soon I will have a layout in Maxim magazine and then voting
will begin again to make it all the way to the top! Now as lucky 10, my
work is cut out for me. I will do my best to look the sexiest for the Maxim
spread and then hopefully you all can help me be LUCKY 1!
I especially want to thank my girl Jess Ward, Dave Bielous, Samoa Joe, Eric
Young, and AJ Styles for the help with the Basic Instinct Parody Video. I
owe you all big time! Also have to think my best friend Denise Chislett who
told me that nothing is impossible with a little work and a lot of good
thoughts! Racer X (Davie and the entire crew) for always believing in me. TNA for taking a chance with me...I won't let you down. And Lex and Terry for always sticking by my side!
This is an opportunity that I have waited a long time for and it was
all-possible because of all of you. Your votes and support means the
world to me.
