hmmm is it just me or does it appear that they have the same body molds....i thought Mattell said that everyone would have unique molds

Mattel never said EVERYONE would have unique body molds, they said they would make many different body molds for each body type. They stated this from the beginning in a Q&A chat way before we even saw protos.

Yep, but give Batista and HHH the same body mold? Even Jakks made a special "Batista mold" (also used for a a few others - chris masters comes to my mind) because you really can't let him look the same like HHH.
Moreover HHH is two inches smaller in "real life". The figure is taller than Batista. So much for "our figures are in scale".
That's a let down for me.

HHH is only 2 inches smaller than batista in real life which isn't all that notice able when stood together so really isn't that bad  I mean would you rather HHH and batista the same size or evan and taker? Can see where your coming from but since they seem to have the same body molds its the headscan making hhh bigger so you could always not get that batista and wait for a new one and see if they change his head? |

A bit dissapointed that the bodies are the same, However this is something Im conditioned too and it works for these guys. the height thin I think is really irrelevant. I mean they are practically the smae height in real life so i dont see why its that big a deal. Like some one said, if taker/Boutned are same height then you got a a JAkked up figure.

Dave's isn't and he's already taller (even though he's a little more in front). But, I can complain all I want, it is what it is. I hope they'll put out a Batista body, which does justice to his body and doesn't look the same like HHH. If they don't, the height thing could easily be compensated with a little longer lower legs or something, but these two figures are exactly the same (apart from decals, color and head), even the boots are all the same. |

In that pic Batista is almost standing straight looking forward while Trips is steping forward whith his back arched and head tilted backwards. So of course Batista will look taller. |

Stop complaining about the height difference. Scale in any jakks collection would be worse compared to mattel. The guys are virtually the same height with the difference so minimal its not worth putting into plastic.
Got a question for rvd though, does trips hair look more browner in person or yellowish like the pics?

Man, I'm starting to have second thoughts on these. Batista looks terrible. I think guys like Jericho, HBK, Cody Rhodes, etc, look good though.

No, the boots are different. You can clearly see Dave has the straps across his to the back, while HHH only has laces And this is not directed to you, but to everyone crying over the height. Are you really going to be so negative because these two figures, who have maybe an inch difference in real height, are the same in plastic form? As long as people are are more then an inch or two shorter are actually shorter, this really isnt that big a deal. If you want it down to the millimeter, i think we need to grow up and realize this isnt going to happen. I still cant get over that everyone who cried for years now about how horrible jakks is are now professing their love for that same company, after mattel puts out a much more detailed product, at least in my opinion. It just goes to prove that people will find the smallest things to bitch over, and will never, ever, be satisfied. |
