If they are unhappy, let them go. They would barely have anyone on the roster. Wrestlers go through unhappy periods all the time. But if they are unhappy enough to quit their job, maybe they are more than just going through an unhappy period.

Yeah I don't see the reason behind refusing to let someone quit. I mean if you were working for someone and hated your job and you asked to get let go and they said no... do you really have any incentive to try anymore? I mean if I was in their position I'd be going out of my way to try to get released if they weren't going to give it to me when I ask for it.

Kazarian will be a big loss...he should never be put under that stupid Suicide gimmick. Wouldn't like to see Homicide to go also but I can't see why he wants to leave so much. He's got so many friends in TNA and wwe are never going to want him.

It figures, and I could have told Dixie that with Hogan coming in that TNA from this point on is going to be doomed to failure, and if Dixie doesn't believe it to check the ratings each week.TNA fans are not Hogan fans.TNA is not in the same territory as the WWE is.TNA is in the South and not up North, like the WWE is.
TNA fans from the start never did want Hogan coming into TNA period.Until Dixie realizes this TNA is going to continue to be doomed to faliure. And until Dixie decides to do something about this TNA is going to continue to fail, and even drop even lower and lower each and every week until they do something about getting rid of Hogan.

I think the reason why Hogan signed was to only become part owner and that is why and all.He would never have to come into TNA and still be part owner of the company, and still never mention TNA. You gotta remember Hogan is only out for himself. He could care less about TNA,their fans,or anything at all regarding the company, just as long as he gets what he wants, and being part owner of the company is what he got,and wanted.Otherwise he never would have signed with TNA peiord.Case closed.

Oh there are ways for wrestlers to be let go from their contract in TNA. If Homicide was smart enough he would just no show every Impact show and eventually TNA would have to fire him for that alone. And if he is on any PPV's he could also no show those too.Eventually TNA will get the hint.I know that is what I would do if I were unhappy, and a wrestler there.

I was willing to, and still am willing to give TNA the benefit of the doubt that they're gunna do the right thing. but this is outrageous. Him being in TNA has been more of a distraction than anything else, and it alienates their hardcore fan base

So what the hell was the rating the same old 1.0-1.2?
And that kinda sucks that TNA has 5 people who want out. I wonder who the others are?

I like TNA and find it a better alternative to WWE/F - especially as watching Raw these days is so painful. I find myself watching Smackdown & Impact as they focus more on wrestling...
I also like the way characters such as Stevie Richards re-invent themselves in TNA compared to rotting away in WWE - his relationship with Daffney is brilliant!
Hogan to TNA was BIG news but not good news...I wonder if RVD and/or Jeff would be tempted?
If Homicide and Kaz are asking for their release is it so they can jump ship to WWE?

I don't get it. Dixie says "If you're not with us, leave", but guys who asked for their release were denied...
Makes a lot of sense.

Actually no it would not.It would send a message to TNA,saying that fine if you won't let me out of my contract than I will do what I want on my own,and without telling anyone what my plans are. It's actually, like walking out on the company on your own without letting the company know what your intentions are,and basically telling Dixie to stuff it,but in a nicer way.Another way of getting let go,is to put out to TNA that on your off hours that you have been looking elsewhere to wrestle and trying to get a contract signing with ROH,or any other indie that is willing to hire them. This would really get TNA mad. They can't really stop you from what you do on your off hours. What you do then is your business.TNA can't do shit.

Couldn't they take legal action aginst Homicide for breaching his contract if he tried working ROH?

Whenever someone signs a contract there usually is a loophole where one can most likely get out of their contract. However one would really need to have a very good lawyer for that, and to get them out of that predicament.I can't see what reason that Dixie Carter has for holding Homicide back for. It's not like he is a superstar wrestler in TNA.He is just your average mid carder wrestler. And the WWE doesn't want him so he should be able to go and wrestle wherever he wants.
The best thing that Homicide can do right now is to keep his mouth shut when asking for a release on his contract, since they refuse to give it to him anyway, and go about looking to get out of TNA on his own,and not let TNA in on anything about it.If he misses all of his Impact shows they will eventually fire him,and that might be the only way he can get out of TNA,is by getting fired. It's better than nothing, because he can always go somewhere better where he would be treated better too.

I just watched the speech, and thought it was awful. It was like she was saying "I'm going to make this company into WCW - The Final Days and I'm taking you all down with me!" I can't imagine how anyone in TNA wouldn't been demoralized after this.

Jim Cornette pretty much said my thoughts on this and everyone should hear what he has to say.
