In an interview with Sherdog.com, TNA Wrestling star and MMA fighter says he'd strongly consider walking away from pro wrestling if he was offered an exclusive deal with Strikeforce. "If it does come to a point where you have to choose, then I'll have to sit back and talk with my family. I want to fight," Lashley said. "TNA is at the understanding where they know my dedication with fighting. If (Strikeforce CEO Scott) Coker comes back and says you have to quit wrestling, then we'll have to cross that bridge."
TNA offered Lashley great money to work a reduced schedule and they understand that fighting is his top priority.
Lashley professional MMA record is 4-0, most recently defeating Bob Sapp on June 27th. There were reports over the summer that Strikeforce was negotiating with Bobby Lashley to fight Fedor Emelianenko at last weekend's CBS event. Lashley declined the high profile fight because he didn't think he'd have enough time to train properly, but Strikeforce is interested and can certainly use another rising star with name value in their heavyweight division.

Please, Strikeforce, offer him a deal.

Lashely isn't a major assest to TNA anyways. If anything, TNA is more important to Lashely/CBS than Lashely is to TNA since they advertise his upcoming fight as much as they do/would.

Lashley could actually be useful only on his way out. Imagine if he suddenly turned heel and started destroying guys left and right, and the only guy who can stop him is Kurt Angle. Angle goes over clean at the PPV and Lashley leaves TNA.

As good as that sounds, it also means that Angle stays in TNA, which I oppose strongly.
Honestly, I wish Lashley the best of luck in the octogon, but for the love of god get out of the wrestling ring.

Maybe it's just me, but once TNA gave a title to Pacman Jones, who didn't even wrestle a single ing match, they'd have to do a lot more to get me to stay.

I like Bobby personally. I hope for the best in either choice that he makes or offer he takes for that matter.

People will take him more seriously as an MMA fighter if he leaves TNA. I personally want to see him in the UFC, but Strikeforce is a good alternative. TNA honestly doesn't do much for him except give him money, and he can't do that much for TNA if he can't commit full-time to them. I haven't seen him in TNA, but I assume that he isn't that much different than he was in the WWE.

Lashley hasn't done a thing since coming to TNA, why should it matter if he decides to leave?

TNA might be better off without him. He sucks so he should just stick with beating the crap out of people. So far he is successful.

Fighting for StrikeForce is a much better career move..
I mean.. He is starting a feud with a very, very washed up Scott Steiner.. He has nothing to lose..
It's not like this guy was Brock Lesnar anyways.. Let alone as good as Brock Lesnar in a wrestling ring..
I would love to see Lashley vs. Lesnar at a UFC PPV.. I would be in total 100% love..

Angle goes over clean at the PPV and Lashley leaves TNA. -- That makes the most sense. Kinda reminds me of Zeus when he plowed through several mid-card guys, to get Hogan to match him ... only to take the 3 leg drops inside the cage, on his way out. Only, in this case, both guys can actually wrestle.
