HBK vs. UT WM 25. So over rated. No way. You're crazy. I suppose Austin/Rock from WrestleMania 17 sucked, too?

Goldberg vs Lesnar.
I was extremely dissapointed, and I don't think I've ever been that dissapointed.

Brock Lesnar vs Bill Goldberg First match that popped into my mind when i saw this thread. IMO the match should of been the definition of brutality! Two very capable guys of putting on a super-sized brawl. Instead the whole angle and match were a flop as Goldberg wasn't even on TV for several weeks leading up to the event which basically left Brock vs. Austin for fueling the match.

I don't want to say any matches that have been already stated so here are some that I thought of:
Lita vs Trish New Year's Revolution 2005 - Mainly because Lita got injured and it was like 3 minutes. I guess Trish was suppose to really win after like 10 minutes and I would have really liked to see that but what can you do?
Mickie James vs Trish Stratus Backlash 2006- Again this was because of an injury. I think this match would have been awesome since WM 22 was but the injury forced a DQ which is always bad. .

HBK vs. UT WM 25. So over rated. I dunno if your being serious or not but Im going to agree. It was by far the match of the night but to me its very over rated and the only reason its praised is because of the 2 people in it. You replace them with Matt Hardy and Kane and have the EXACT same match (same spots etc) it wouldnt get much praise. It just shows how much Mania 25 really sucked when looking back... anyway back to the question....Goldberg vs Lesnar, Orton vs HHH at WM25 and Hart vs HBK at Mania12....its a good idea until you have to sit through over and hour of head locks

Orton/Hogan from Summerslam.
Michaels/Flair from WM as well. Flair has not been able to work a match in god knows how long; Michaels did absolutely everything. To be honest, the match bored me aside from Shawn's highspots, but then again I wasn't expecting it to be great either.

But Kane and Matt Hardy couldn't pull off the same match or the same spots. Half of the reason it was so great was how exciting it was. Half the people were cheering for Taker, half were cheering for Michaels. The entrances were literally epic. The atmosphere at home watching it alone was intense, so I can only imagine what it was like live. It was a HUGE match feel and people cared who won. That made every near fall that much more exasperating. That made every Tombstone and Superkick that much harder. That made the match special. Kane and Hardy couldn't ever get a match to that point. Outside of the hype, the two 40+ men, who should by all reasonable logic be retired or completely washed up at this point, went out there an dominated a young man's game. They did it better than two guys in their late twenties would have done. They both took brutal bumps to the outside of the ring. They both reached deeper because they knew all eyes were on them. You're damn right part of the reason it was so great was because of the two people in it--because they are the only two men at their age that could pull something that great off in such a high pressure situation. The match was so hyped by us, and they knew all eyes were on them, and they didn't choke at all. They didn't disappoint in the least.

HBK vs. UT WM 25. So over rated. What do you know anyways? You dont know nothing about fashion, women, ethic nor morals and obviously you don't know good wrestling.

Oh man, sorry this is getting so off topic, but as far as my two cents go, I think the HBK/Undertaker match was definitely great, but i also think it's very overrated. The reason people see it as the greatest match in a long time is because the rest of the roster and their matches are not as good as what they used to be. For instance, a few years back, HBK had a way better match at Wrestlemania with Kurt Angle. If we still had Angle, Guerrero, Benoit, or even Lesnar and a bunch of more hard-working mid-carders like we did in the early 2000's, that match wouldn't be praised so much... But today, it's like going to a classroom and scoping out who's the prettiest girl there. Next thing you know, she's sooooo hot.... hahahaha... Awe damn I hope that makes sense... hahahaha.... Oh, but another match that I thought was pretty weak was Goldberg vs. The Rock...

HBK vs. UT WM 25. So over rated. My problem with this match is that I expected it to be good....I think. I can hardly remember what I expected based on the way that everyone has sucked the match's d!ck (not possible, obviously) as the greatest of all time when to me it was clearly not even the best match between the two of them. Yes, Wrestlemania itself played into it, but there were botches and a long portion towards the late middle where I was just ready for the damn thing to be over. I understand that collectively everyone HAS to overstate how good every HBK match is, but this one is just ridiculous. Just to note, I think both are among the greatest of all time. Everyone's reaction to this match is just too much for me.

Matt Hardy vs Jeff hardy Backlash 2009 I Quit Match,it kinda dissapointed me,(FOR ME) but the end was pretty cool with Matt making a great promo about a little of the private life of the Hardyz,I always think their UNDERRATED Match on Wrestlemania 25 was wayyyyyyyyyyyy better and the one who make that WM watchable for me. So im going with: (maybe the entire HIAC PPV with some exceptions) Cena vs Orton HIAC CM Punk vs Undertaker HIAC

'taker/HBK was tha shit. I watched it in a friggin bar and it almost had me on the edge of my seet. Some douche who I would usually find anoying was yelling and screeming at every near fall and clapping at every counter/finisher but I didn't care at all he was simply saying was going through my head. I don't see why, when something is overally loved or great certain people on this forum have to pick at it until they find a flaw e.g Jericho,Ryder and in this instance, HBK/'taker.

The first time Matt Hardy faced Jeff Hardy... I think Matt was pissed at Jeff & Lita... The match was pretty dull... The first time Matt faced Jeff in the WWE (WWF at the time), Lita wasn't even there yet. I want to say it was December of '99. Smart ass. I remember being really dissapointed with Rock/Austin III (Im on about Wrestlemania 19, And im fully aware they fought numerous times, just saying before I get Smarked). I love the match but I kinda expected it to be a little less gimmicked I suppose.
