(Somewhat) Funny story --
I work at Walmart which generally makes it easy to just take a short walk over from the Electronics department over to Toys on a break, lunch, or before/after work. Last night I worked until after close (10:30) and I saw for the first time the WM Heritage figures. I saw Edge, Cena, Taker, and Austin I would have grabbed Edge and maybe Austin but all of the cashiers had left for the night and the registers were prepped for this morning, so I told myself I'd go in early and grab it before my shift.
Well I came in earlier today for a 3:00 shift, saw Cena, Taker, and Austin, and was pretty bummed that I missed out on Edge. He's been my favorite ever since I started watching wrestling in 7th grade (I'm in grad school now) and I wasn't a fan of Jakks' attempt at this particular attire.
Finished my shift at 8, clocked out, took one last look at the toy section figuring it wouldn't hurt me to look one more time. The only figures left were Taker and...EDGE! Obviously I picked him up. I'm thinking either someone had him before I looked before my shift and put him back, or they restocked some. Anyway, that's my story. Wound up grabbing that with my discount, score.

the quest continues... decided to go back to a Wal-Mart i checked shortly after 1/01/10 - last time all they had was one Mysterio entrance great.... this time they actually put stuff out - Heritage,Flex Force,series 1 of the 2-Packs,and the Belts...there was a box on a pallet that siad FIGURES - WWE BELT PACK or some such thing...wonder if it was the set with the Belt and HHH/Orton? at any rate,they had ever WM Heritage but Batista,and all 3 of the 2-packs, so i picked these up:  getting closer...i'm now down to needing/wanting 3 figures: Finlay / Hornswaggle Evan Bourne ...STILL no sign of any 1/1000's though! dammit,it's getting frustrating! |

got a crap ton of figs....
Bought the complete series one set at tru for 39.99 ( 10 bucks off , which cost me nothing as I have a gift card!)
Picked up the Beth/Santino 2 pack at kmart.
WM Heritage Undertaker... they were out of everything else.
9 figs for a total of about 30 Bucks out of pocket... not bad at all.

Went figure shopping on Saturday. Ended up picking up these:
2-pack series 1:
-Jericho/Michaels
-Marreli/Phoenix
-Legacy
Basic series 1:
-Evan Bourne
-Kofi Kingston
-HHH
Elite Series 1:
-CM Punk
Out of those 10 figures I bought on Saturday, Jericho is by far the best figure from the bunch. Evan Bourne is pretty cool too.
