The opening pyros go off as we are welcomed to ECW, and are told about our big tag team main event tonight.
Singles Match Chavo Guerrero w/Vickie Guerrero vs Mike Knox
The bell rings and Chavo unloads with strikes for the opening minute. However, Knox gets some control with a lot of hard tosses around the ring and beats the living hell out of Chavo for a few minutes. However, Chavo gets a few huge moves that send Knox down multiple times. After a few near falls, Knox overpowers Chavo once again but cannot execute a win. He gets surprised by Vickie, and Chavo rolls him up with his feet on the ropes for 3.
Winner of the match: Chavo Guerrero [7:21] **
Following the match, Chavo quickly hops out of the ring and flees with Vickie. Knox glares down the Guerrero's as they back up the ramp. He rises to his feet and storms over to the ropes and has a burning look in his eyes. Chavo points at him and shouts "I still got the win, Mike!"
We then cut to see Ezekiel Jackson making his way down to the ring.
Commercial Break
Singles Match Ezekiel Jackson vs Kaval
The bell rings and Kaval quickly unloads with shots on Jackson, but can't take him down and is quickly overpowered. Jackson literally shows his domination through a couple minutes just tossing Kaval around like a rag doll. Kaval, however, does get Jackson down about 5 minutes in and almost gets a pin, but Jackson ultimately continues to control him with his power and eventually ends it with a huge chokeslam, catching him off the top rope, and gets the pin.
Winner of the match: Ezekiel Jackson [6:33] **
Jackson celebrates his victory, but as he does, Mark Henry makes his way down to the ring. He gets in and immediately begins to strike back and forth with Jackson. As Jackson begins to get huge control and begins to knock Henry all around the ring, the World's Strongest Man ducks a shot and shockingly lifts Jackson off the mat and drops him with the World's Strongest Slam. He gets up, taunting to the crowd, and pulls Jackson up once more. He delivers yet another World's Strongest Slam.
Commercial Break
We return and Paul Heyman is backstage with Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler tells Heyman that with the way Rob Van Dam was last week, he doesn't think he'll show up this Saturday to face him. Heyman says nothing to worry about, he doesn't even think Van Dam could beat him anyway. He does say, however, that he knows somebody that will. Ziggler asks who it is, and Paul tells him not to worry about it, he'll be in action on Saturday no matter what. Ziggler claims he'll win.
We then cut to see Savannah, and she introduces her guest at this time to be Rob Van Dam. She asks him about his actions last week, and RVD laughs, telling her what he did last week was just to show everybody that he is the "Whole Dam Show". He claims that Tommy didn't really say "Welcome home" when he was drafted to ECW last month; he told him to watch his back. RVD shrugs and begins to complain that Tommy is a liar, and he knows that if he didn't strike Tommy last week, he would of struck him. He says that if that had happened, people wouldn't be questioning his actions. He explains that he hasn't had a chance until now to answer, because before he could get it out he was being accused left and right of being a back stabber. RVD laughs again and says he doesn't really care, the fans suck.
Commercial Break
Tag Team Match Rob Van Dam and Sir Charles Haas vs Shelton Benjamin and ECW Champion Tommy Dreamer
The bell rings and Haas starts off with Dreamer. They go back and forth, with Dreamer getting a lot of hard slams and shots for the opening minutes. Some frequent tags from Dreamer and Benjamin after gaining lots of control. Haas begins to fight back at Benjamin though and tags in Van Dam quickly. RVD gets some control with hard kicks and sends Benjamin down multiple times and a gets a bunch of near falls and even hits the Rolling Thunder after a long time. He goes for the 5 Star Frog Splash, but Benjamin avoids it. After some back and forth action, both Haas and Dreamer make blind tags and Haas tries to gain an advantage on Benjamin, but Dreamer comes in from behind, spins him around, and quickly hits the Dreamer DDT and gets the pin.
Winners of the match: Tommy Dreamer and Shelton Benjamin [11:40] ***
Dreamer celebrates his victory but it doesn't last long as Benjamin quickly kicks him in the head. Dreamer collapses to the mat and Benjamin goes and strikes at RVD, but Haas attacks him from behind and takes him to the outside, quickly bashing his head into the steel steps and applying the Haas of pain. RVD hits the 5 Star Frog Splash to Dreamer in the middle of the ring at the same time, and taunts to the crowd his signature "Rob! Van! Dam!" and motions for the ECW Title to end ECW.

-Chavo Guerrero beating Mike Knox is fine. Nice to see a Chavo push. -Ezekiel has been dominant. Good win over Kaval. -Great main event, ANJM! Like that the faces won and very happy that Benjamin attacked Dreamer after the match. Now, it sets up Dreamer to have unfinshed business leading to a match for the ECW Title at the PPV after OTL. If Dreamer retains.
-Very good ECW.

ECW, surprised to see Chavo Guerrero go over here, but happy as it shows he is getting somewhere. Obvious victory for Ezekiel Jackson, destroying Kaval. I am liking this Jackson/Henry feud. I love this heel Rob Van Dam, it's great. Tommy Dreamer and Shelton Benjamin with the win is good, getting one up in their feuds. I would love to see RVD as ECW Champion again, but not for a while, let Dreamer have his reign. Good ECW.

ECW on SyFy: Tuesday 18th May 2010...Hmm, pretty weak opening contest to kick off the show this week, as the feud over Vickie Guerrero between Chavo Guerrero and Mike Knox rages on. Chavo picks up the win once again? Hmm, Chavo has a lot of momentum in this feud, and it just proves how much Knox has to do from now on in the company. I expect to see him gone by the end of 2010. I like the guy, but there's little to do with him. Ezekiel Jackson beating Kaval would have been a strong opening contest. Nice to see Kaval try, but Zeke picking up the win is acceptable for a small competitor like Kaval. Mark Henry's involvement intrigued me, indeed. Hmm, you need to do something with Billy Kidman and Evan Bourne. Lastly, odd tag team match as Rob Van Dam and Charlie Haas teamed [face with a heel?] against Tommy Dreamer and Shelton Benjamin. The ECW Champion getting the win is acceptable. With five days until Over the Limit, was a good episode, but slightly strange.

The opening pyros go as we are welcomed to Smackdown by Matt Striker and Jim Ross. Soon after talking about the show tonight, United States Champion Jack Swagger makes his way down to the ring and gets on the mic. He talks about being an All-American American and brags that he is a pure athlete and is the United States Champion, and a future World Champion - the future of this business. He continues on about how last week Randy Orton's victory was a fluke and he is here to prove that just because he lost to the WWE Champion, well claiming it was a cheap victory, doesn't mean he'll lose the United States Title any time soon.
Non-Title Singles Match United States Champion Jack Swagger vs Montel Vontavious Porter
The bell rings and both men go back and forth, but Swagger gets the quick upper hand dropping MVP to the mat multiple times. After a couple minutes of using his amateur wrestling skills and gets a few near falls, but MVP fights back quickly and gets some control. After a few minutes of going back and forth and MVP control, Swagger goes for the Gut Wrench Powerbomb but MVP slips off and begins to fire away at Swagger and finishes him off with the Drive-By and gets the pin.
Winner of the match: Montel Vontavious Porter [8:10] **1/2
MVP begins to taunt to the crowd following his victory motioning for the US Title. Swagger gets up and attacks him from behind. He begins to beat him up ascending the ramp, but MVP begins to fire back and knocks him down. However, Batista slowly comes from behind and spins him around to deliver a spine buster on the ramp. He is obviously not 100%, but still yanks MVP back up and delivers a Batista Bomb and stands over his recent rival with a grin across his face.
Commercial Break
Triple Threat Match Rey Mysterio vs Kofi Kingston vs Bryan Danielson
All three men share handshakes as the bell rings and then begin to battle it out. Kingston gets the early control on everybody for the opening minutes with a fury of kicks, but Danielson takes control by knocking both men down and applying different submission holds. Mysterio manages to get some momentum after a few minutes of his opponents going back and forth by taking them down with a springboard. A few minutes of going at it in great action, then Sheamus runs down to the ring and begins to attack all three competitors and the referee has to call for the bell.
Winner of the match: No Contest [10:10] ***
Sheamus continues on by beating them all down with hard clubs, but eventually, the numbers game catches up to him and they all begin to work at the Celtic Warrior and Danielson kicks him in the legs as Kingston kicks him in the back of the head, and as he goes flying back, Mysterio hits a hurricanrana to spill him to the outside.
Commercial Break
We return to see Tyson Kidd, David Hart Smith, and Natalya backstage with Josh Mathews. Mathews asks them about their recent change of luck, but before he continue Kidd cuts him off and tells him there is no luck involved with their victories. Smith continues by saying that when they went to their mentor, they had a change in themselves and now - are going down a road to take the Unified Tag Team Titles. Mathews asks when their mentor will be revealed, and Natalya says that after David and Tyson win the gold this Sunday - he'll be there to celebrate with them afterward.
Singles Match Unified Tag Team Champion Edge w/Christian vs Tyson Kidd w/David Hart Smith and Natalya
The bell rings and Edge quickly gets control over Smith. After sending him down to the mat multiple times for a few minutes, Kidd begins to speed things up. He gets some control for a while delivering tons of hard and fast paced moves. Some back and forth action from the two that involves multiple near falls soon leads to a lot of signature moves being hit. Kidd goes to deliver the Springboard Elbow, but Edge moves out of the way. As he goes for the spear on the rise, Kidd quickly moves out of the way and Natalya hits Edge over the head with the title as he leans between the ropes, so Kidd takes advantage and rolls him up for the 3.
Winner of the match: Tyson Kidd [9:51] ***3/4
After the match, Kidd escapes from the ring in celebration. Smith and Natalya quickly join him and back up the ramp as Christian enters the ring. Edge refuses to be helped up by him and they begin to argue. Christian tries to calm him down, but Edge just seems annoyed by him and tells him to shut up. Christian continues to try and calm him down and Edge apologizes, and they hug, Edge still seeming aggravated by his huge loss.
Commercial Break
Non-Title Singles Match Maryse vs Women's Champion Beth Phoenix
The bell rings and Beth shows early domination on Maryse with lots of slams. However, after a couple minutes, Maryse begins to get some momentum and beats Beth down. After a lot of back and forth action, Beth goes to end it but Maryse manages to pull away from her quickly and as Beth comes rushing at her, she ducks under her clothesline, and hits the French Kiss DDT out of nowhere and gets a surprising 3 count on the champion.
Winner of the match: Maryse [6:49] **
Maryse celebrates her victory and steps out of the ring with a grin. She goes to the Women's Title and takes it from the timekeeper. She puts it over her shoulder as Beth slowly stirs to her feet. She gets out of the ring and walks up behind her in anger, and spins her around, clotheslining her to the floor. She takes the Women's Championship, puts it over her shoulder, and quickly walks away leaving Maryse in pain.
We cut backstage to see Zack Ryder. He grabs Kelly Kelly by the arm and turns her around. He asks what the hell she was thinking taking the side of Kofi Kingston. Kelly shrugs and tells him she just liked him more. Ryder asks why, and she tells him because he wins. Ryder grabs her by the chin and tells her that he is a future World Champion - unlike Kofi Kingston, "Woo Woo Woo, You Know It". He walks off with a grin across his face, Kelly looking at him unsure.
Commercial Break
We return and The Straight Edge Society make their way down to the ring. Punk gets on the mic and begins to preach to the Canadian fans saying that they should be ashamed of themselves for their beer guzzling ways to enjoy a hockey game. He talks about how crappy the sport of hockey is anyway, and says he is done talking about 'these disgusting people' he could go on hours about. He says that this Sunday at Over the Limit he will be crowned the WWE Champion - once again back on top of the WWE like he should be. He claims tonight will be a preview of what is to come this Sunday when he defeats Randy Orton because he will make a statement by making him Go To Sleep Tonight. The crowd gives him a lot more heat so he resorts to insulting them again before saying he is sick of dealing with the disrespect by the fans here in the WWE, and says that after he wins the WWE Championship he will be here on Smackdown and showing these people he deserves respect and if he doesn't get it - they will be very disappointed when their hero - Randy Orton - is left face down on the mat week in and week out. With that, Chris Jericho makes his way down to the ring, the main event tag team match being is coming up next.
Commercial Break
Tag Team Match CM Punk and Chris Jericho w/Matt Cross and Joey Mercury vs Big Show and WWE Champion Randy Orton
The bell rings and Show starts off with Punk. They go back and forth, Show overpowering early on. Punk gets a bit of advantage after a couple minutes. Jericho gets tagged in and he works on Show a bit, but Show overpowers him quickly and Orton gets in after a couple more minutes. He beats down Jericho a bit before Y2J tags in Punk. Him and Orton stare down a bit, and they quickly end up on the outside brawling. After a few minutes of back and forth action between the two in and outside the ring. Show eventually gets tagged in and he goes to hit the Knockout Punch on Punk soon, but he ducks it and Jericho hits a quick Codebreaker, and Show stays on his feet. Orton quickly gets into the ring and hits an RKO on Jericho out of nowhere and clotheslines Punk over the top rope as Show collapses onto Jericho and gets the 3.
Winners of the match: Big Show and Randy Orton [13:33] ***
After the match, Show slowly rises to his feet holding his head. Orton and him look at each other and nod, but Punk comes into the ring and strikes Orton from behind. He ducks a knockout punch from Show and begins to strike at him but quickly gets backed into a corner, leading to Jericho eventually crawling over and low blowing him. He gets up and springboards off the middle rope and dropkicks Show, sending him to the outside. They begin to brawl on the outside as Punk stalks Orton as he is beginning to rise and lifts him up for the GTS, but can't hit it as Orton drops down. He begins to unload with strikes but Mercury and Cross get into the ring and attack him from behind, striking down aggressively. They drag him back up eventually and lift him onto Punk's shoulders, and he delivers the GTS. The Straight Edge Society stand over Orton with grins of satisfaction as Smackdown comes to a close. -Jack Swagger's opening promo is good. Bold statement saying he won't lose the US Title soon. -M.V.P beating Swagger is good. It sets up a new big threat for this Sunday. But I can see a new US Champ in the 6 Pack Challenge. -Sheamus has been on a reign of dominance on mostly everyone's diary these days. Glad you followed in that exciting Triple Threat Match. -Tyson Kidd beating Edge is acceptable. Kidd seriously is on the rise with Smith. Wonder if they'll win the titles at OTL. -Maryse beating Phoenix is cool too. As now he have another contender for the Women's Title. -Big Show and Randy Orton winning the tag main event is good. Hope CM Punk wins the WWE Title this Sunday. He doesn't need to lose twice to Orton in three days. Show looked strong in this one. -Good, realistic SmackDown. Reply to WWE 2010

-If Batista is feuding with MVP, why is MVP trying to get the United States Title? Good opener though -Triple Threat match would've been awesome and Sheamus attacking them just before the Six Pack Challenge makes sense -Kidd over Edge is huge for his career. I wonder who their mentor is. I'm guessing either Bret or the "Anvil". I see some tension between Edge & Christian -Surprised Maryse won, her vs. Beth is a different feud -Ryder hitting on Kelly is good stuff -Punk getting promo time before the main event is great, I love him on the mic. Orton & Show winning the main event was the right choice and the post match GTS was great
Good edition of Smackdown, I'm looking forward to Over the Limit

WWE SmackDown: Friday 21st May 2010...Canadian SmackDown, boy! Alright, hot opening promo to kick off the show with Jack Swagger in the ring, and a good promo by the WWE United States Champion basically setting up for the opening contest with MVP. And a great opening contest that would definitely light the audience up. MVP picking up the win though, for Swagger that can't be very good. Swagger attacking him from behind though, vintage Swagger there. I liked that. Batista then joining in on the asault though, I thought he was still on crutches, though. Looking forward to these two performers beginning to feud. Can't imagine the quality of their matches though, fresh storyline nonetheless. Great triple threat match next, but not sure how a no contest can occur in a triple threat bout. Sheamus attacking these three great midcard talent, despite how small they are compared to Sheamus...just seems very unlikely. All of this just because Sheamus wants to be king of the midcard. He has legitimate beef with Kofi Kingston, but I like Rey Mysterio getting involved. Haha, Bryan Danielson did nothing. Next, a solid win for Tyson Kidd against Edge; amazing for the Hart Dynasty beating the WWE Unified Tag Team Champion that also happens to be a former World Heavyweight Champion. The sneaky win is fine, but the fact this occurs in the country of Canada also confuses matters as to who the faces will be; Edge & Christian or David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd. Maryse beating Beth Phoenix is fine, definitely could be pay-per-view worthy one time, though. Zack Ryder hitting on Kelly Kelly: hehehe. Next, pretty solid promo by CM Punk and the Straight Edge Society as per usual, based on Randy Orton. Lastly, great tag team main event win for Big Show and Randy Orton over CM Punk and Chris Jericho [my Elite of RAW, haha]. A solid show overall, simply setting up for Over the Limit in two days. Good stuff, but also Saturday Night's Main Event! Let's go, let's go, let's go.

Date: May 22, 2010 Location: Toronto, Ontario Venue: Air Canada Centre
The opening pyros go off as "Boom" by P.O.D. hits around the arena. We go to ringside to see all three commentating teams, each welcoming us separately to Saturday Night's Main Event live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. They also remind us Over the Limit is tomorrow night as we are about to get under way.
5-on-5 Tag Team Match Cody Rhodes, The Miz, Chris Jericho, and The Hart Dynasty w/Natalya vs Ted DiBiase, John Cena, Big Show, and Edge and Christian
The bell rings with Rhodes and Cena starting off. Cena unloads with strikes to start, and Rhodes begins to fight back a bit and they begin a fist fight. Quickly, however, Rhodes goes for a roll up but Cena manages to kick out of it. Once up, they begin to fist fight again, Cena getting the upper hand and tossing Rhodes to the mat and delivering tons of strikes. Rhodes rakes the eyes though and quickly rolls to tag in David Hart Smith. Cena is quickly clotheslined to the mat and beaten down with authority. However, Cena manages to trip Smith up and beat down on him. He drags him to his corner and tags in Big Show, and he gets in stepping onto the chest of Smith. However, he gets caught up with Jericho by yelling at him across the ring and Smith begins to pound on him from behind. He strikes and strikes away, but is quickly pushed away. However, he does manage to duck a big boot and tags in Miz. He steps in slowly, and unsure, as he walks up to Show. He offers a hand shake but just gets punched in the gut. Show headbutts him and hits tons of strikes across the back each time he tries to get up. Miz is tossed across the ring like a rag doll and Show tags in DiBiase. He gets in and begins to work down on Mr. Money in the Bank, delivering vicious strike after strike. He quickly takes things to the mat in the middle of the ring and applies some tight holds, Miz almost tapping out multiple times but he fights back and makes a quick tag to Jericho and he runs in delivering a quick Codebreaker. He goes for a pin, but Edge rushes in and breaks it up. Him and Jericho stare down a bit and DiBiase delivers Dream Street quickly and gets a near fall. Following that, all the rivals begin to beat down on each other and everything spills out along the outside and inside of the ring. Pretty soon after all the mess, things clear, and John Cena has been tagged in. Jericho doesn't realize it though and yells at his team telling them that he has everything under control. He turns straight into the Attitude Adjustment and is pinned.
Winners of the match: John Cena, Edge, Christian, Ted DiBiase, and Big Show [10:41] ***
Following the match, the faces celebrate their victory. All the heels look on in disappointment at Jericho and they all begin to yell at him. He tells them all to shut up, and turns to a knockout punch from Big Show. A huge brawl then breaks out which leads to referees having to rush down to the ring to break it all up.
Commercial Break
We return being shown footage from Smackdown the night before showing Maryse's win over Beth Phoenix.
Women's Championship Beth Phoenix© vs Maryse
The bell rings and Maryse gets an early advantage by striking at Beth quickly. She continues to beat her down against the corner with strikes until Beth pushes her away and hits a huge clothesline on the run back. Beth continues to stomp away at her and drags her to her feet by the hair and delivers a huge powerslam, then drags her up again, and delivers another slam. Maryse quickly rakes the eyes and kicks the gut, quickly setting for the French Kiss DDT, but Beth pushes her off to the ropes and catches her with a huge back body drop on the rebound. Beth goes for the Glam Slam, but Maryse manages to wiggle her way away and to the ropes. She ducks a hard shot and rolls up Beth, trying to get a cheap win with her feet on the ropes, but a kick out at 2. She begins to argue with the referee so Beth takes advantage off it and hits the Glam Slam and gets the pinfall and the win.
Winner and still Women's Champion: Beth Phoenix [6:02] **
After the match, Beth raises the title up to the crowd. Maryse begins to rise to her feet in the corner and Beth walks over, Maryse begging her to leave her alone. Beth extends her hand and Maryse takes it slowly. However, she doesn't take it for long as she kicks Beth in the gut and delivers the French Kiss DDT. She rises back to her feet and does her taunt along the ropes, then stepping out of the ring quickly to avoid Beth.
Commercial Break
We return and Dolph Ziggler makes his way down to the ring. He gets on the mic and says that he came to ECW with a goal - a goal to be the perfect ECW Champion. He claims that when Tommy Dreamer beat him it was just a fluke, and tonight he wants to prove that. He says that Rob Van Dam chose the right way to do things and that's not give into the old school ECW respect way, and to show Tommy Dreamer that it isn't about that - it's about the ECW Championship. He states that however, he should be the ECW Champion, and should be the one getting the title shot at Over the Limit. Rob Van Dam then comes down to the ring to a mixed reaction from the crowd. He gets on the mic and thanks Dolph for the props, but they are supposed to have a match tonight. Dolph retaliates by saying that he wanted to talk to him, rather then have a match, and that's he his back tomorrow against Tommy. RVD nods and says he appreciates that, but it's time to get the match under way. Dolph says he isn't done, and says that if he does have his back tomorrow - he wants some type of reward for that; like an ECW Title shot. RVD laughs and says that he doesn't even need his back, but he'd be more then happy to hand out another whooping, and says that he'd rather do it right now. Dolph stops him again, and says that he doesn't want a match with him - he'll admit it. He says that however, he did find an opponent for Rob. With that, out comes The Hurricane and he makes his way down to the ring, Dolph exiting.
Singles Match Rob Van Dam vs The Hurricane
The bell rings and Hurricane offers hand shake to Rob, but he doesn't take it and kicks him in the head. He begins to unload with strikes and Hurricane tries to fight back with some of his own, but Rob has none of it and hits a series of kicks to the ribs, and ducks a clothesline, flipping Hurricane to the mat. He then hits off the ropes and delivers the Rolling Thunder before hopping onto the top turnbuckle and delivering the 5 Star Frog Splash and gets the 3 count.
Winner of the match: Rob Van Dam [1:35] *1/2
After the match, RVD stands up and looks down at Hurricane in disapproval. He begins to walk away, but doesn't, and hops back onto the top turnbuckle again and hits yet another 5 Star Frog Splash. Hurricane slips out of the ring as the crowd boos RVD, who taunts at them with his signature thumbs - the crowd not chanting the initials back in rhythm like they used to. RVD exits the ring with a grin across his face.
Commercial Break
Champions vs Challengers Match Triple H and CM Punk w/Matt Cross and Joey Mercury vs World Heavyweight Champion John Morrison and WWE Champion Randy Orton
The bell rings with Morrison and Punk in the ring, staring each other down. They lock up, and Punk quickly takes him down applying numerous submission holds before getting up and kicking Morrison in the gut. Obviously still having it in for him for their recent past rivalry, he knees him in the face viciously. Punk takes a bit of time, and is kicked in the gut by Morrison due to the open door opportunity for the World Champion. Morrison continues with a lot of punches and kicks, and hits a spinning wheel kick to send Punk down to the mat hard. He hits a springboard moonsault following that and gets a near fall. Punk rakes the eyes and kicks Morrison in the jaw before tagging in Triple H. Orton makes a blind tag to JoMo and Hunter quickly clotheslines Morrison over the top rope, giving Orton the opportunity to go for the RKO but is pushed off. He comes back to a huge knee to the face and is picked right back up and hit with a series of strikes and a spinebuster. Hunter yanks him back up once more and kicks him in the gut and sets for the Pedigree but Morrison comes into the ring and superkicks him, causing him to rebound off the ropes, and back to a huge RKO from Orton. Punk rushes into the ring and takes Morrison down and begins to beat down Orton against the ropes and starts to choke him with his boot. The referee backs him off and he gets away back to his corner.
Commercial Break
We return with Hunter beating down Orton against the ropes with hard strikes. He whips him off the ropes and hits another spinebuster, and prepares for the Pedigree once more. However, Orton manages to pull himself free and goes through the legs and hops up hitting a dropkick. He makes his way to his corner, as does Triple H, and they both make tags to their partners. Morrison quickly takes Punk down with a series of clotheslines and hits a sudden superkick that leads to a near fall. Punk fights back quickly with some strikes and pushes Morrison into the corner and knees him in the jaw and delivers a bulldog to the middle of the ring. He taunts to the crowd and on Morrison's rise, he sets up for the GTS, but Morrison manages to convert it into the Moonlight Drive and goes for the pin but Hunter breaks it up just barely. Orton then rushes into the ring and takes Hunter down with a huge clothesline and begins to stomp on him. Morrison walks up behind him to stop him, but Orton doesn't think first and hits the RKO on his own partner. Punk gets to his feet, Orton ignoring what he did, and he runs at Punk to clothesline him, but he ducks and throws Orton over the top rope. Punk then makes his way over to Morrison, and yanks him up by the hair and hits the GTS with authority and hooks the leg getting the 3 count on the World Heavyweight Champion.
Winners of the match: CM Punk and Triple H [17:15] ***3/4
Following the match, Punk rises to his feet acting as if he just won the World Title from Morrison. Hunter enters the ring and Punk goes off to the side quickly. Morrison is picked up by the hair, but before he can be hit with the Pedigree, he pushes Hunter off to the corner and as Punk comes running at him, he ducks down and launches him straight into Triple H. Orton then comes into the ring as Joey Mercury and Matt Cross come in to the aid of Punk, and they both begin to attack Morrison and Orton but are both quickly laid out and clotheslined over the top rope. Hunter comes rushing at Morrison as Punk comes rushing at Orton, but they are quickly dropped with simultaneous dropkicks. Punk gets back up but quickly gets out of the ring before he can be RKO'd and Hunter pushes Morrison away on a Moonlight Drive attempt and gets out of the ring. The two world champions stand tall in the middle of the ring to end SNME.

l MAY 23, 2010 l JOE LOUIS ARENA l DETROIT, MICHIGAN l
The opening pyros go off as we are welcomed to WWE Over the Limit with the theme song "Unraveling" by Sevendust. We are brought to ringside as Smackdown's Jim Ross and Matt Striker tell us about tonight being a huge event for the WWE, and remind us of the WWE Championship match between Randy Orton and CM Punk. We then go to ECW's Josh Mathews and Todd Grisham as they talk about how happy they are to be here and that things have been heating up on ECW the past few weeks with Tommy Dreamer and Rob Van Dam - and now they meet tonight for the ECW Championship. We lastly go to Raw commentators Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole, again hyping up how big of an event this is set to be and they promote the World Heavyweight Title match between "The Guru of Greatness" John Morrison and "The King of Kings" Triple H and much more.
Unified Tag Team Championship The Hart Dynasty w/Natalya vs Edge and Christian©
The bell rings, Christian starting things off with Kidd. They lock up and Kidd gets the early upper hand with a series of strikes and delivers a huge kick to the ribs of Christian and sends him to the mat with a dropkick. As they both rise, Kidd kicks him in the gut and hits a huge spinning DDT and gets a near fall. They get back up and Kidd kicks him hard in the back, but as he goes to kick him in the chest, Christian catches the boot and pushes him around and kicks him in the gut, following it up with a huge suplex. They both get up and Christian works on him in the corner with strikes down to the head and whips him to the ropes. Kidd misses a clothesline attempt and is dropped with an inverted atomic drop. Christian then drags Kidd to his corner and tags in Edge, who kicks Kidd in the gut right off. He pulls him up and whips him to the ropes and hits a clothesline on the comeback. As soon as Kidd rises, Edge starts to beat him down against the ropes, but the referee pulls him away. As he comes back, Kidd kicks him in the jaw and then hits a few more kicks to the back, legs, and ribs. He then ducks under the arm and delivers a huge dropkick to send Edge into the steel post. Kidd rolls over to his corner and tags in Smith, and he comes rushing in, taking Edge down with a huge big boot. He follows up by yanking him to his feet by the hair and delivering a huge military press and a hard shoulder breaker before going for the pin, only to get a 2 count. Edge starts to get to his feet again, but Smith kicks him in the jaw and leaves him in the corner. He backs off and comes rushing, going for the face wash, but Edge moves out of the way and scrambles to his corner, tagging in Christian. Smith pulls out of the corner and is hit by a top rope cross body from Christian, but only a 2 count on the pin attempt. They both get back up, Smith dazed, and Christian goes for the Killswitch but is easily pushed off to the ropes and dropped with authority with a back body drop. As Christian gets back up, Smith hits a huge German suplex. He doesn't go for the pin, however, and applies an elevated Boston Crab. Christian scrambles quickly, but is unable to get free that easily and searches for the ropes. Smith pulls harder on the legs as Christian continues to try and find his way to the ropes, and Edge gets into the ring quickly, big booting Smith off him. The referee holds Edge back and Christian gets up asking Edge what he is doing. They begin to argue over it and Smith takes advantage by lifting Christian up onto his shoulders and Kidd springboards off the top rope with a clothesline to convert with the Hart Attack. Smith quickly goes for the pin and Edge doesn't even attempt to break it up as the referee counts 3.
Winners and NEW Unified Tag Team Champions: The Hart Dynasty [12:37] ***1/2
Following the match, The Hart Dynasty celebrate their victory with each other as Edge walks along the side of the ramp and heads out of the arena as Christian rolls to the outside not sure what to think about what his partner has done. Away from that, David Hart Smith gets on the mic. "You know... it was long time ago that a good friend of my family and a member of the Hart Family had passed on this day... and tonight we want to dedicate what we just did to him." The crowd applauds the respect for Owen as Kidd speaks up, "You know... The Hart family means a lot to us. As it has been seen we have had ourselves a mentor helping us reshape ourselves, and look what it has done for us." They raise the Unified Tag Team Titles. "And that man wanted to come down here tonight and celebrate with us... so ladies and gentlemen let me introduce you to one of greatest performers - no, scratch that - the best performer to ever grace a WWE ring... Bret Hart!" The crowd loses it over Bret as he makes his way out to the ramp taunting to them. He makes his way down the ramp and shakes hands with Christian on his way there and says something to him before making his way to the ring with a grin across his face. He enters doing his classic arm spread taunt. He takes both Smith's and Kidd's wrist and raises their arms high into the air with a grin of satisfaction.
We cut backstage to see Teddy Long, Paul Heyman, and Abraham Washington in an office with Long dancing around and Heyman shouting approval of Bret being here. Washington stands up and stops them - asking why the hell they are celebrating Bret Hart being here when "Bret screwed Bret". Heyman looks at him and tells him to pry his lips off Vince McMahon's ass and walks out. Long laughs about it and Washington questions why he is, and Long just tells him that it is so true, it's so funny at the same time. Washington tells him to shut up, saying that Mr. McMahon must be very unhappy right about now and he should be more like him and concerned about that. He pulls out his cell phone and begins to talk to McMahon and asks him if he just saw what happened, and he tells him that Bret Hart just came down to the ring. Vince can be heard yelling at the top of his lungs on the other line, causing Washington to have to pull the phone away from his ear. He calms down, and tells Teddy Vince wants to talk to him. Teddy nods at what Vince is saying and tells him he'll see what he can do, and hangs up. Washington asks what he wants him to do, and Teddy says he wants to get Bret Hart on Raw tomorrow.
Six Pack Challenge for the United States Championship Sheamus vs Rey Mysterio vs Bryan Danielson vs Kofi Kingston vs MVP vs Jack Swagger©
The bell rings as Mysterio and Kingston go at it, as do Swagger and Danielson, and Sheamus and MVP. All that goes on are strikes at each other until Sheamus plows MVP to the mat with a clothesline and runs at everybody else sending them to the mat with clotheslines. However, Kingston gets up and dips under the Bicycle Kick attempt and hits the Trouble in Paradise, already getting a near fall, but it is only a 2 because Swagger pulls him off. The champion drags Kingston to his feet and begins to strike at him until Mysterio comes rushing at Swagger and him as well as Kingston perform a sandwich double dropkick type move, the champion collapsing through the ropes after. MVP comes over and starts to work on Mysterio in the corner, and Sheamus gets double teamed by Kingston and Danielson. He quickly pushes them away however and begins to work on MVP as he crosses the ring and delivers some hard slams. However, Kingston launches himself in leap frog form over Danielson and takes out Sheamus and MVP and to the outside. The crowd pops for that as Danielson delivers a suicide dive onto all of them to take them back down. Once back up again, Mysterio springboard crossbody's onto everyone, once again all of them being spilled out onto the floor. Jack Swagger comes over and takes MVP and pushes him into the ring and going for the pin, only to get a 2 count. He gets up and yanks MVP up and begins to strike at him and whips him off the ropes and hits a huge powerslam on the comeback. He taunts to the crowd and turns right to Sheamus hitting the Bicycle Kick. However, he doesn't get a chance to go for the pin as Kingston comes flying off the top rope and onto him with authority. He gets a near fall off the pin attempt, and as getting back up is hit with the Drive-By by MVP, and he is hit with a springboard seated senton by Mysterio, but Sheamus hits a Bicycle Kick on Mysterio as he is going for the pin. He then goes at Kingston and begins to beat him down in the corner and goes for the Celtic Cross, but Kingston manages to pull himself loose and hits the Trouble in Paradise, sending Sheamus through the ropes. He gets up to a clothesline from Jack Swagger that sends him straight into the mat. Swagger turns to a springboard seated senton from Mysterio, but he manages to catch hold of his waist, and converts it into the Gut Wrench Powerbomb. He hooks the leg and gets the 3 count and the victory.
Winner and still United States Champion: Jack Swagger [9:55] **1/2
Swagger celebrates his victory as he holds onto the United States Championship. He raises it to the crowd and taunts to them, pounding his fists to his chest, and steps out of the ring raising the title high still with a grin, very satisfied with his victory.
We cut backstage to see Savannah standing by and introducing her guest at this time to be The Miz. She asks him about how confident he is that he will beat John Cena here tonight. Miz laughs a bit and says that he beat John Cena at Extreme Rules, and won Money in the Bank a month before, and now, here at Over The Limit - it shall be no different because he will defeat John Cena easily because John Cena's "time is up, and The Miz's time is now". Savannah tries to ask him another question, but Miz cuts her off and says that he knows what she is going to say - and he knows that she is probably like most of these people in the arena tonight and a big John Cena fan. She looks guilty of it, and Miz calls her on it. He says that John Cena is overrated and has already had his role as the top in the business. He flaunts the Money in the Bank briefcase claiming that whenever the time is right, he'll be the World Champion and on top because he's The Miz, and he's awesome. He walks off with a wide smirk of satisfaction at his words, as Savannah sends it back to the arena.
Cody Rhodes vs Ted DiBiase
The bell rings as both men stare each other down. They lock up, breaking it off quickly, and Rhodes kicking the gut and pounding down on the back. DiBiase fights back though with a bunch of strikes back and hits a hard clothesline, and another on the rise, causing Rhodes to quickly get out of the ring. DiBiase follows after him and goes for a clothesline, but Rhodes ducks it and throws him head first into the steel post before rolling him back in the ring and looking to end it early with a pin, but only gets a 2 count. DiBiase gets back up and is kicked in the gut as Rhodes drags him back to his feet and pushes him to the corner and delivers a series of elbows and knees and hits a hard suplex and goes for the pin again, but only a near fall. They both get back up and DiBiase kicks Rhodes in the gut and strikes at the head before whipping him to the ropes and connecting with a dropkick on the rebound. They get up again and DiBiase hits a hard snap DDT and gets a near fall. He sits Rhodes up and applies a headlock, and keeps it for a while, before dropping to his side and keeping them down. Rhodes scrambles a bit and manages to get himself towards the ropes and he gets his legs onto them. DiBiase gets right up and begins to stomp away until Rhodes slips out of the ring and crawls around the ring, DiBiase following right up behind him. He grabs Cody by the head and slams it into the barricade and then into the ring apron before putting him back inside. He follows, but is quickly sent to the mat with a hard shot. Rhodes begins to choke him with his boot holding the ropes down but pulls off at the referees count of 4 and he kicks DiBiase in the head as he starts to get up. He begins to beat him down with strikes in the corner and drags him out hitting a suplex before lifting him up and hitting another one. He goes for a pin, but cockily, pulls the shoulder up at 2. He steps out of the ring and grabs a steel chair and gets into the ring quickly. He motions for DiBiase to get up and swings the chair, only to have him duck under it, and DiBiase delivers Dream Street to lay him out. However, before he can go for a pin attempt, a man hops over the barricade and yanks him out of the ring hitting a Perfect Plex. Matt Striker identifies him as Joe Hennig, and he rolls DiBiase back into the ring following after. The referee just now notices him and tells him to get out, but he doesn't and he starts to stomp down on DiBiase, causing a DQ.
Winner via disqualification: Ted DiBiase [13:11] ***
Rhodes and Hennig shake hands to the crowd booing and they drag DiBiase up as Rhodes kicks him hard in the stomach and hits the Cross Rhodes. Hennig yanks DiBiase up again as Rhodes slaps him around a bit, but down to the ring comes running yet another man - who seems familiar to some - as Matt Striker identifies him as Ted's brother, Brett. He unloads with strikes at Rhodes and then Hennig. He hits a hard dropkick on Rhodes to send him through the ropes, and then clotheslines Hennig out as well. He assists his brother to his feet as the two pairs stare each other down.
We cut to some footage of recent ECW events featuring Rob Van Dam and Tommy Dreamer.
Extreme Rules Match for the ECW Championship Rob Van Dam vs Tommy Dreamer©
The bell rings and RVD quickly takes Dreamer down with a kick and beats him down until they get to the outside. He smashes Dreamer's head into the steel post and the steel steps, and lastly the announce table. He takes a steel chair and bashes Dreamer across the head with it, making the match seem like it is going to be very quick. He gets him onto the ECW announce table and he goes up with him, holding the chair still, and swings it at Dreamer but the champion ducks and boots RVD in the gut and grabs him by the straps and tosses him into the crowd. He follows after him striking down hard and eventually tosses him back over the barricade and begins to beat him down against it. He yanks RVD up by the hair and rolls him into the ring, looking under the apron and pulling out a trash can filled with weapons. He tosses it into the ring and gets in, only to be met with a spinning heel kick from RVD. Dreamer starts to get beat down with kicks as RVD hits the Rolling Thunder and grabs a stop sign from the trash can and clocks the ECW Champion over the head with it. He then takes a kendo stick and hits Dreamer in the gut and then across the back and climbs to the top turnbuckle and sends off for the 5 Star Frog Splash, but Dreamer manages to move out of the way as RVD lands on the trash can. Dreamer gets back up slowly, and as RVD comes back towards him, he drops him face first on the steel post. He then pulls RVD up onto his shoulder and delivers the Dreamer Driver onto the dented up trash can and pins him for the 3.
Winner and still ECW Champion: Tommy Dreamer [8:27] ***
After the match, Dreamer celebrates his victory and taunts the ECW Championship to the crowd. Meanwhile, RVD rolls around holding his neck and back in pain. Dreamer extends his hand, but pulls it away as RVD goes to grab it knowing better. He exits the ring and backs up the ramp raising the title.
We cut to a video package of The Miz running his mouth for so long. It shows last years attempts at wanting to face John Cena, and claiming he was victorious each time. However, when he legitimately faced Cena, he was defeated. We then go to Miz winning Money in the Bank at WrestleMania and going on to defeat John Cena in a Falls Count Anywhere Match at Extreme Rules, and the package ends with recent events of the two fighting.
The Miz vs John Cena
The bell sounds and Miz mocks Cena to start things off. Cena laughs at it at first but sends one punch to send him to the mat and shut him up. He drags Miz to his feet and throws him into the corner punching him repeatedly in the jaw, sending him flying up off his feet each time. Cena takes Miz up onto his shoulders for the Attitude Adjustment already, but Miz manages to slip off barely and clotheslines Cena to the mat. He stomps him down a bit before dragging him to his feet and irish whipping him to the ropes and hitting a discus punch to send him to the mat. Miz taunts to the crowd a bit, and Cena gets up in the corner and he hits his signature swinging corner clothesline and looks to the crowd with a grin as they boo him. He mocks them before going back to work on Cena as he drags him up, but is quickly tossed over his shoulder hard. Cena strikes him down as he rises, then again, and a third time. Miz struggles to get back up and Cena takes advantage off it by hitting a huge back suplex and tries to go for the STF, but Miz manages to scramble to the ropes and hold onto them for dear life. Cena laughs about it and drags him to the middle of the ring, but Miz kicks him off and gets back up only to be hit with a shoulder block. Cena looks to the crowd, motions "You Can't See Me" and hits the 5 Knuckle Shuffle. Miz flops around as Cena gets ready, and as Miz rises he lifts him up onto his shoulders and hits the Attitude Adjustment. He hooks the leg, but to every ones surprise, Miz kicks out just barely at 2. Cena takes Miz back to his feet laughing it off, and lifts him back up, but Miz slips off the shoulder and quickly gets hold of Cena and hits the Skull Crushing Finale. He hooks both legs, but Cena kicks out of it at 2. Miz is fuming, and he complains to the referee, but is still holding his back in pain. He strikes at Cena against the ropes and hits him with a jawbreaker. He gets right back up and hits Cena with a bulldog as he rises. Miz taunts to the crowd again as they erupt in boos once more. He brushes them off and waits for Cena to get back up, and as he does, he goes for the Skull Crushing Finale, but Cena manages to pull his leg free and forces him up onto his shoulders with one hand, and delivers the Attitude Adjustment. He doesn't go for the pin, however, and locks in the STF. Miz struggles a lot and his face eventually starts to change color as he can barely breath. He tries to find his way to the ropes but can't, and taps out.
Winner of the match: John Cena [11:47] ***
After the match, Cena taunts to the crowd as he seems to be on the verge of rebounding from his losing slump. Miz starts to get back up and gets into Cena's face, coughing in between words as he holds onto his neck. Cena just looks around to the crowd and Miz slaps him, so he hits another Attitude Adjustment to shut him up and he taunts to the crowd once more, getting out of the ring and storming up the ramp happy with what he has done.
We head backstage to Savannah again and she introduces her guest to be John Morrison. She asks him what he thinks about defending his World Heavyweight Title tonight after being on the losing side of the huge tag team champions vs challengers match the night before. Morrison says that he may of been pinned, but it was by CM Punk, and it was a completely different story. He says that things are going his way and they aren't going to just because he lost an irrelevant match in the road to success. He walks off grinning and patting his World Heavyweight Title.
No Holds Barred Match Big Show vs Chris Jericho
The bell rings as Jericho and Show stare each other down. Matt Striker puts over their history as a tag team, and how they had an eight month reign together. Jericho walks up to Show and slaps him across the face and talks some smack. However, Show grabs him by the throat and throws him into the corner and begins to punch him in the stomach over and over again and delivers a headbutt, Jericho collapsing to the mat. Show steps over his back and Jericho flops around in pin holding his back. Show yanks him up by the neck and hits another headbutt, big booting him as he comes back off the ropes slowly. Show goes for a leg drop but Jericho manages the move out of the way and scurries up to his feet and starts to kick Show in the gut as he starts to get up. He hits a huge enziguri to keep Show down, but as he runs over him and goes for the lionsault, Show is already up on one knee and catches him on his shoulder. He gets to his feet and runs to the corner, but Jericho manages to slip off his shoulders and hold onto the top rope and place his feet on the second. As Show turns, he jumps off and kicks him in the chest. He gets right back up and does it again, but this time springboarding, and sends Show over the top rope. Jericho follows after him and reaches under the ring and grabs a steel chair. He smacks Show across the back with it, but it doesn't phase him, so he does it again. Nothing once more, and he hits him once more time across the back, but all it does is make Show even more angry as he grabs Jericho by the throat and tosses him into the announce table. He clears off the ECW announce table and pulls Jericho back up and lifts him for a military press but Jericho rakes the eyes and lands on the table on his feet. He starts to strike Show at his level, and as he is wobbling, Jericho backs up then runs at Show going for a Codebreaker, but is caught by the throat and dropped through the table. Show collapses to one knee as Jericho lays out cold. He eventually grabs him by the arm and drags him to his feet and onto his shoulders and plops him through the ropes and into the ring. Show makes his way into the ring and rather then going for the pin, clenches his fist prepared. Jericho doesn't stir though, and Show starts to get more angry. Jericho doesn't move after another 30 seconds so Show brings him to his feet and pushes him off the ropes, and Jericho comes back, ducking the fist and jumping up and hitting the Codebreaker as Show turns. Show wobbles at first, but eventually collapses down to the mat, and Jericho scrambles onto him and hooks the leg getting the 3.
Winner of the match: Chris Jericho [14:19] ***1/2
Jericho celebrates his victory as he slowly gets out of the ring, holding his back still in pain, as the referee raises his hand in the air in victory. The commentators put over the table being broken as we get a highlight video of it, but also Jericho playing possum and putting Show away wisely - as we also see that. Jericho is booed by the crowd, but he still grins, as he can now put the history with Big Show behind him.
We cut to a video highlighting the recent antics of CM Punk as a part of his Straight Edge Society movement. At the draft, he manages to beat Triple H and WWE Champion Randy Orton comes to Smackdown. Then the next edition of Smackdown, Punk confronts Orton and they end up having a match at the end of the night and Punk wins via count out due to the debut of the Straight Edge Society with Matt Cross and Joey Mercury. Highlights of the recent weeks of back and forth battles between the two both verbally and physically are shown as it comes to an end.
WWE Championship CM Punk w/Matt Cross and Joey Mercury vs Randy Orton©
The bell rings and Punk begins to preach at Orton, but he doesn't take it and strikes Punk and begins to beat down on his back and sends him into the corner kneeing him repeatedly in the gut. Orton then uppercuts him a few times and takes him to the middle of the ring and strikes him a bit more and hits a hard dropkick to send him to the mat. He takes hold of the leg and begins to work on it, but Punk manages to kick him away with his free leg. He gets to his feet shaking it off and strikes away at Orton. He backs him to the ropes and hits a few chops and hits a quick suplex and goes for the pin but it surely isn't enough. He gets right back up, as does Orton, and hits a springboard clothesline and tries to lock in the Anaconda Vise off the takedown, but Orton pushes him away. They get back up and Punk kicks Orton a few times in the chest and pushes him into the corner. He comes running to hit the knee, but Orton manages to duck under it and rolls him up only getting a 2 count. They get right back up and Orton throws him over the top rope by the hair. He gets out after him and starts to stomp away a bit and yanks Punk up by the hair and throws him into the ring apron and strikes at him hard. Punk pushes him away and rolls into the ring, and over comes Mercury and Cross and they throw Orton to the floor and stomp at him. They back off quickly though as the referee takes notice of them near him, and he gets out of the ring questioning them. They act innocent, but the referee has none of it and ejects them from ringside. Punk at first is furious, but takes advantage off the distraction and takes the WWE Title in his hands and strikes Orton with it right over the head. He tosses the title aside and takes Orton back into the ring with him and hooks the leg as the referee gets back in and counts - but Orton manages to roll his shoulder up. Punk gets angry over it and yanks Orton up, striking at him again, and he yanks him up for the GTS, but the champion manages to slide off. However, Punk ducks the clothesline and kicks him right in the jaw and he falls into the corner. As he straightens back up, Punk runs and knees him in the jaw and hits the bulldog. He gets up taunting to the crowd and drags Orton back to his feet quickly, striking the chest with kicks again. He hits a quick scoop slam and runs to the ropes, hitting a springboard clothesline on the rise and gets right back to his feet. He motions for Orton to get up, and as he does, he lifts him onto his shoulders and stalls him there for a moment, dropping him down and hitting the GTS. He hooks the leg, but Orton just barely manages to kick out. Punk gets angry with it and begins to strike down ferociously on the head of Orton. The referee pulls him off though and he forces Orton back up to his feet and sets up for the GTS again, but Orton wraps his arm around the neck and drops down behind him hitting his backbreaker maneuver. Punk slithers to the apron and Orton goes right after him, seizing an opportunity, as he drags him through the ropes and hits his signature rope hung DDT. He gets back up and wanders around Punk, stomping each part of him in his sly way. He yanks him by his hair and jumps for the RKO, but Punk pushes him off to the ropes and clotheslines him hard. He drags him back to his feet, raking the eyes in the process, but the ref is unable to see it. He kicks the jaw hard and then the gut, and lifts him up for the GTS once more. He stalls with a grin across his face, but since he takes too long, Orton whips himself off the shoulders and to the side of Punk and RKO's him on the 90 degree turn and quickly hooks the leg getting the 3 count from the referee.
Winner and still WWE Champion: Randy Orton [16:41] ***3/4
Orton celebrates his win as he raises the WWE Title high in the air. He steps out of the ring with Punk stirring to his knees with a look of anger and disappointment across his face. He keeps saying "that's my title!" over and over again to himself as Orton raises it high above his head staring at Punk.
We go to a video package of John Morrison winning the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania, and then at the draft, being the final pick after Triple H wins the battle royal. Hunter strikes Morrison with a sledgehammer, and changes his attitude 180. We get highlights of the smack talking and the beat downs over the past few weeks, the package ending with the contract signing and Triple H putting Morrison through the table.
World Heavyweight Championship Triple H vs John Morrison©
The bell rings and both men lock up, Morrison quickly trying to take things to the mat to keep Hunter down, but he can't do it as he is elbowed in the head and met with a few strikes and an irish whip leading to the high knee to the face. Hunter looks to end this one early already as he tries to set up the Pedigree, but Morrison trips him up and bridges for a pin but can't get the 3. Both men rise and Morrison hits a kick to the gut and one to the jaw and a huge hurricanrana to send Hunter to the mat. Morrison goes for a springboard moonsault, but Hunter moves out of the way and manages to pull himself to his feet. As Morrison gets up he runs at him and drops him with a clothesline and then a knee drop. He pulls him up and backs him into the corner, beating down with strikes. Morrison kicks him in the gut though and sits up onto the top turnbuckle and dives off hitting a spinning elbow. They get back up and Morrison quickly hits a Russian leg sweep to send Trips down to the mat and he begins to stomp down on him hard. He hits off the ropes and hits a standing shooting star press and goes for the pin, but the Cerebral Assassin manages to kick out. Morrison drags him to his feet by the hair and begins to strike at him again. He goes for a superkick, but Hunter manages to duck under it and tip him over the top rope but Morrison manages to stay on the apron. He sends his elbow into the gut of The Game and quickly pulls himself over the top rope to crossbody him, but Hunter catches him and drops him down on his knee. He realizes an opening and starts to work on the mid section of Morrison with tons of kicks, and yanks him up to his feet and kicks him a few more times before striking at the head. He hits a back body drop and Hunter bounces off the ropes and delivers the knee drop hard. He gets back up as does Morrison, and he connects with the spinebuster. He gets up and taunts to the crowd as Morrison struggles his way to the ropes. He makes his way to his feet and staggers to Triple H and is kicked in the gut and dropped hard with the Pedigree. A cover: one, two, th- kick out. Morrison just managed to get his shoulder up as Hunter looks in shock. He drags Morrison back up by his hair and hits another running knee to the face, then a spinebuster on the rise. He signals this time it will be over and sets for the Pedigree once more, but Morrison manages to roll himself up and lock his legs around Hunter. He struggles as he strikes at his head and is backed to the corner, but he manages to hold the ropes and pulls his legs free. As Hunter comes back, he kicks him in the chest. He comes back once more and is kicked in the back of the head and he drops to the mat. Morrison takes advantage off it and hits the Starship Pain and hooks the leg - but Hunter manages to put his foot on the rope. The crowd boos it and Morrison staggers to his feet as The Game slips out of the ring. The World Champion looks to the crowd and smirks as he has an idea. As Hunter is rising, he delivers a corkscrew crossbody over the top rope and takes him down at the end of the ramp. They get back up and Morrison comes rushing at him again, but the shot he sends is ducked and Hunter pulls him up and drops him face first onto the barricade. He then takes him by the hair and throws him into the steel steps. He rolls in and out of the ring at the count of 8 and then begins to stomp down on the mid section of Morrison again. He drags him up to his feet and pushes him into the ring and comes in after. Morrison gets back up and Hunter comes running for a strike, but it is ducked and JoMo kicks him in the gut and sets up the Moonlight Drive. However, as he flips, Hunter manages to pulls his head loose and Morrison just lands on his feet and is kicked in the gut and dropped hard with the Pedigree! Due to the impact, he flops into the middle of the ring as both men are laid out. The referee starts to count them both out, but as he reaches 7, Hunter manages to get his arm draped across Morrison. However, due to the time it took to cover him, he only gets a 2 count. The crowd is getting really into this match as Hunter gets back up complaining to the referee. Morrison is still on the mat as he is dragged up to his feet once more and is slapped across the face. Hunter lifts him up for the spinebuster again and manages to drop him hard. Morrison gets up on his own though, along the ropes, and Hunter drags him to the middle. However, Morrison catches his leg and spins him around, hitting him with a superkick as he faces towards him again, and on the rebound, he kicks him in the gut and hits the Moonlight Drive. He struggles to his feet and climbs to the top rope and hits the Starship Pain once more, and this time gets the 3 count.
Winner and still World Heavyweight Champion: John Morrison [25:36] ****
After the match, Morrison stirs to his feet being handed the World Title as the crowd pops loudly for him. He taunts on each of the turnbuckles with the gold, successfully retaining his title again. Hunter rolls out of the ring and sits up against the barricade with a look of disbelief and pain. Morrison mocks the title at him with a wide smirk. He taunts with it in the middle of the ring to bring Over the Limit to a close.

WWE Saturday Night's Main Event: Saturday 22nd May 2010...Pretty solid ten-man tag team bout to kick things off, definitely a mere way to promote things for Over the Limit the next night. John Cena, Edge, Christian, Ted Dibiase and Big Show defeating Chris Jericho, Cody Rhodes, The Hart Dynasty and The Miz was probably the best decision; definitely rightful as this instantly elevates stakes for the pay-per-view the next evening. Next, not a bad match to follow, with the WWE Womens Championship at stake in a rematch from SmackDown the previous night. I like Beth Phoenix beating Maryse, as Maryse beating Beth the previous night made it seem iffy. Following this, good promo with Dolph Ziggler; I want to see more from him in the future. Definitely should have the ECW Championship eventually. Rob Van Dam's promo was pretty good; setting up for facing Tommy Dreamer the next night. The Hurricane being used as a setup is justifiable as well; RVD needed the win. Lastly, a solid main event with the World Heavyweight and WWE Championship matches being set up. CM Punk and Triple H winning was nice, as was the Straight Edge Society getting involved but best thing for John Morrison and Randy Orton to stand tall closing the event. A decent hype-up event.
WWE Over the Limit: Sunday 23rd May 2010...Pretty good opening contest for this great event, as the Hart Dynasty took on Edge and Christian for the WWE Unified Tag Team Championships. Edge turning heel on Christian actually did seem likely; and it was a great way to set up for Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith winning the WWE Unified Tag Team Championships; a decent start but not sure about Edge turning heel so early in the evening. I wasn't that fond of the Hart Dynasty cutting a promo after the match; I would have saved the return of Bret Hart for RAW the next night. I am now confused though; you had the best opportunity for Bret to return in Canada on RAW in Toronto, but waited for this. Also, does this make Hart Dynasty faces now? Bret would never go heel. In addition, how will you plan to work Bret out as being back in the company without any negotiation or contact with Vince McMahon or Shawn Michaels. Finally, this has occured way too early in the show, as I would have saved it for later on in the show. Next, very interesting Six-Pack Challenge with Jack Swagger retaining the WWE United States Championship against Sheamus, Bryan Danielson, Kofi Kingston, MVP and Sheamus. I find that unlikely and would have even saw a new champion coming but nevermind. Next, a good match with Ted Dibiase and Cody Rhodes that I would have put on first. The disqualification finish was pretty good as this means for a feud extension in the future. Joe Hennig returning eh? I like that. Up next, a good ECW Championship match held under Extreme Rules; that could have opened the show up as well. Rob Van Dam should have won the belt; Tommy Dreamer simply isn't convincing to me anymore. Alright, business time. A good match between John Cena and The Miz, which ended with Cena winning. Good decision, hopefully this feud has reached an end. Big Show and Chris Jericho in No Holds Barred; big backstory to this, your perfect opportunity to finish Show off for a few months unless you have plans for him. Good ideal win for Jericho, but that finish seemed strange. Alright, solid WWE Championship match between Randy Orton and John Morrison that could have been positioned before Jericho vs Show; two World Championship matches in a row may be tiring for the Detroit crowd. Orton retaining the WWE Championship against CM Punk is probably the best thing; doesn't appear as though that this feud is over with, however. Lastly, amazing main event defense by John Morrison against Triple H to retain the World Heavyweight Championship, but I'm not sure about it almost lasting a half hour. Triple H in this age couldn't do that in a singles match situation. Overall, a good pay-per-view but really just propells for next month's pay-per-view. I didn't like some booking on the show, but definitely a bold move into things.

Over the Limit A solid way to kick off the action, with the Unified Tag Titles on the line, as the Hart Dynasty taking of Edge and Christian; I enjoyed the hostility brewing between Edge and Christian and the Harts becoming champions is great. I am unsure how I feel about Kidd showing respect to Owen as it just seems like something McMahon wouldn’t allow. Bret coming out to celebrate is good. I like Jack Swagger retaining the US Championship against five difficult competitors; however, I would have given the match a little more time. Rhodes and Hennig forming an alliance is great and I am eager to see how the DiBiase brothers fight them off. I would have preferred for Rob Van Dam to win the ECW Championship as I just cannot buy into Dreamer as champion in his current shape. John Cena defeating the Miz is fine, but I would have marked for the Miz had he defeated Superman. Jericho versus Show seemed to go rather long for a Big Show match, but regardless I thought it was an excellent one. Jericho winning is the right call. Orton managing to retain is decent as it allows this feud to continue to build and grow. Morrison versus Hunter seemed like an epic match and it is nice to see that Trips is still able to go nearly 30 minutes for a match.

-OTL -Good opener, but so much of this stuff happened too fast in the show. Edge turning on Christian, Bret Hart coming. Should have been swapped the ECW title -Very realistic segment with Vince yelling, lol -Swagger retaining the US title is good. The match made him look strong -Looks like a new Legacy, nice -Would have rather had RVD go over, but Dreamer winning is alright -Not sure about Cena winning, but I think Miz won at X rules so it makes sense. Rubber match? -Good thing to see Jericho win -Would have rather seen Punk win, but Orton winning is alright -Great Main event to close out with Morrison walking out with the gold. -Great Job

Over the Limit, good choice of opener, and I'm glad The Hart Dynasty took the Unified Tag Team Championships here. Obvious that the mystery man was Bret Hart, really. I'm also glad that Jack Swagger retains the United States Championship, he needs a healthy reign. Great way to debut Joe Hennig, and on the side of Cody Rhodes is good. A DQ was definitely the right way to go, and I look forward to see where the feud goes from here. I'm happy that Tommy Dreamer retains the ECW Championship, was the right choice as RVD taking it would be too obvious. So glad you had John Cena go over The Miz here, it would have really hurt him to lose. I was actually hoping for the Big Show to pull off a win here, as I hope to see him pushed in the near future. Again, I was hoping for CM Punk to take the WWE Championship, but perhaps that was too quick, maybe at WWE Fatal 4 Way. Pleased to see John Morrison retain the World Heavyweight Championship, he needed this victory to stay credible. Defeating Triple H definitely boosts him as Champion, and he is definitely looking more and more like a top Raw star. Great show.

- HD over E&C is the right move. I honestly expected Bret to be the mystery man. - Swagger retaining makes him look very strong. Good Move. - Interesting close to the Legacy battle. Second Gen Tag Team feud is cool! - Dreamer win was expected. - Cena over Miz is good, as Cena is the bigger star. I hope Miz gets the last laugh however. - Jericho beating Show is fine. - Orton retains the title. A good move. Hope the battle continues though. - Morrison beats Triple H. Makes him much more credible than he was before.
Good PPV, AJ. Really enjoyed it, and keep up the good work!

Raw: May 24, 2010 Preview
Monday Night Raw rolls into Toledo, Ohio just one night after Over the Limit. John Morrison would defeat Triple H to retain the World Heavyweight Championship, in what is sure to be the biggest victory of his career yet. With a new conceptual pay-per-view taking place on June 20, Fatal Four Way, six Raw superstars will compete in three different matches to determine who will enter the Fatal Four Way match for the World Heavyweight Championship. Matches include a rubber match between John Cena and The Miz, Triple H vs Big Show, and Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre vs Kane.
Also, WWE Hall of Famer was revealed to be the mentor for The Hart Dynasty at Over the Limit. This resulted in Vince McMahon in rage over the phone to Abraham Washington and Teddy Long. After speaking with the Raw General Manager, McMahon demanded he get Bret Hart on Raw so he could confront him about even having the guts to show up in his company. Will Bret, along with the new Unified Tag Team Champions, Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith, show up to answer the call?
Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes were entering in what could of been a phenomenal match. However, Joe Hennig, the son of "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig, showed up and beat down DiBiase to cause a disqualification victory for him. However, as Hennig and Rhodes beat down DiBiase, Ted's brother, Brett, made the save. What will go down on Raw when these two pairs of multi-generation stars come together on Monday?

I'll reply to this just because of your sig!
OTL was nice. Solid booking all the way through. Edge/Christian feud should be good. Somewhat surprised to see Dreamer win. Not sure how I feel about Hennig and Brett D. coming in. Seems kinda just a Legacy rehash. Glad that Jericho and Orton won. Heel Triple H is good, but also glad he put Morrison over. Nice job!

l May 24, 2010 l Huntington Center: Toledo, OH l
The pyrotechnics display goes off as Michael Cole, alongside Jerry Lawler, welcome everybody to Monday Night Raw. They tell us about how historic of an event Over the Limit was the night before. They praise the performance of John Morrison and John Cena, as well as The Hart Dynasty. Before they can say anything more...
Mr. McMahon struts his way down to the ring. He gets inside without the usual grin he has, and gets on the mic. He welcomes everybody in the crowd to Raw, and says that every time he comes down to the ring, it has to do with some serious business. He says that last night, Over the Limit was a success. He praises the superstars for their great performances - but he had one issue. Not a little issue, a huge issue. He says that last night a WWE Hall of Famer decided to come down to his ring. A Hall of Famer he lost all respect for 13 years ago. That man was Bret Hart. The crowd pop huge for his name, so McMahon tells them to shut up. He says that Bret Hart decided he didn't want to be a part of his company anymore, and screwed himself over. The crowd begin to boo, and McMahon says that Bret Hart is lucky he wasn't in attendance last night, and dealing with issues that these people "don't deserve to know about", or else he would of thrown him out himself. He gets booed again as he continues on saying that last night he made it damn clear to Teddy Long he wanted Bret Hart here tonight - and he says he wants him down to the ring - right here and right now. He doesn't answer the call, and McMahon begins to go on about how Bret Hart is running away like he did back in Montreal. This doesn't bring him out either, so McMahon begins to insult him personally and Bret Hart makes his way out to the ramp to a huge pop from the crowd. He taunts to them still being cheered as the new Unified Tag Team Champions, Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith along with Natalya, come out behind him. He makes his way down to the ring and all four of them enter. McMahon looks at all of them with a look of unsatisfactory. The crowd begin to chant "Hitman!" over and over. McMahon congratulates Kidd and Smith on their victory last night, saying they earned it. He then says right after that they didn't deserve it, however, when they had "this piece of trash" show up. The crowd boo heavily, and as McMahon goes to say something else, Bret snatches the microphone out of his hands. He tells him to shut up to a pop. Bret says that a day doesn't go by where he doesn't think about Survivor Series 13 years ago. But he also says that he doesn't go a day without thinking of how he'd like to knock Vince McMahon straight on his ass. The crowd goes nuts for that and McMahon goes to snatch the microphone, but Bret pulls his arm away - leaving Vince to have to get another one. He tells Bret that he is in his ring right now, and he could call security out here right now and have him hauled out of this arena. Well booed, Bret replies by saying that Vince isn't really a people person. He says that the fans hate him because of the way he treats them, he's sure The Undertaker hates him for firing him for no good reason, and he hates him for reasons obvious. They stare down a bit before Bret removes his sunglasses and gets in McMahon's face telling him he has waited so damn long to be in the same ring as Vince McMahon again, and how he has waited so damn long to put him down on the mat squirming helplessly as he took him by the legs and applied a sharpshooter. The crowd pop, and McMahon says that he doesn't want to fight - and if Bret feels necessary to stick around and manage the new Unified Tag Team Champions, that's just fine - It's clear McMahon isn't fine with it and is only allowing it because he is afraid to fight Bret - and says that however, he has already found two opponents for The Hart Dynasty so they can stick around here because they are in that match next. He exits the ring.
Commercial Break
Non Title Match Unified Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty w/Natalya and Bret Hart vs William Regal and Wade Barrett
The bell rings, the match beginning with Regal and Kidd. They go back and forth, and Kidd gets an upper hand with a kick to the jaw. He takes the veteran down with multiple series of kicks in the next couple minutes until Regal fights back with a few rough shots. Smith gets tagged in and he dominates Regal for a couple minutes before Mr. McMahon appears on the titantron, saying that he forgot to mention something when he was out there: If Tyson Kidd isn't the legal man, he cannot break up any pin attempt or The Hart Dynasty will be stripped of their titles - same goes vise versa. Barrett rolls Smith up with his feet on the ropes and gets the 3.
Winners of the match: William Regal and Wade Barrett [8:33] **
After the match, Regal and Barrett quickly get out of the ring as Bret Hart looks up at the now blank titantron in anger. Kidd tells him not to worry about it as he and Natalya get in to check on Smith. Bret just continues to stare, full of rage, as The Hart Dynasty have just been screwed.
Commercial Break
We return backstage to see Matt Hardy preparing for a match and R-Truth steps in behind him. Matt turns around quickly as he was taken by surprise. Truth puts his hands up and tells Matt that he has been changing the past couple months and he doesn't like it. He doesn't like the paranoid Matt. Hardy gets in his face and says that he isn't paranoid, he just doesn't like people like him, and points at Truth, before walking off.
#1 Contenders Match to the Diva's Championship Michelle McCool w/Layla vs Gail Kim
The bell rings and McCool takes the early upper hand with some cheap shots. Kim fights back after a little while with some very hard shots that send McCool down multiple times. She tries to end the match a few times over the next couple minutes, but McCool finds ways to keep it going. Layla grabs Kim's ankle, which leads to McCool taking advantage off of it and hitting the Faith Breaker and getting the pinfall and win.
Winner of the match: Michelle McCool [6:30] **
McCool and Layla celebrate the victory together, but the Diva's Champion Serena Mancini comes running down to the ring beating the living hell out of them with strikes. McCool escapes quickly, but Layla is dropped hard with a powerslam and Serena stares McCool down as she raises her title high.
Commercial Break
Fatal Four Way Qualifying Match The Miz vs John Cena
The bell rings for this rubber match as Cena takes control with his power for the opening couple minutes. Miz begins to fight back quickly though and gets a few near falls and even hits the Skull Crushing Finale about 5 minutes in, but can't get the pin. They go back and forth until Cena hits a huge Attitude Adjustment out of nowhere a few minutes later and applies the STF. Miz scrambles much like Over the Limit the night before, and eventually succumbs, and taps out.
Winner of the match: John Cena [10:06] ***
After the match, Cena taunts to the crowd as Miz clutches his Money in the Bank Briefcase against the announce table.
Commercial Break
We return as Cody Rhodes and Joe Hennig make their way out. They get down to the ring and Rhodes gets on the mic and says that last night, Ted DiBiase may have won his match - but it was by disqualification. He claims that isn't a real victory, but merely a beat down by himself and Joe Hennig. He puts over Hennig as the son of "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig and says that along with him they can form a new Legacy and prove to be better then himself and Ted DiBiase ever were. He hands the mic off to Hennig and he says that now that he is officially a part of the Raw roster, and under the wing of Cody Rhodes - a guaranteed future world champion, unlike Ted DiBiase, he can do so many great things. Greater things then Ted ever will. However, before Rhodes can continue on from that, Ted and Brett DiBiase make their way out to the ramp. Ted speaks up saying that he is amused by how confident this new team is. He says that unlike him and his brother, they've never even been aligned until last night - but him and Brett have been brothers ever since Brett was born. He hands the mic off to Brett and he says that regardless of how him and Joe used to be good friends with each other, they obviously already have differences when it comes to business. Rhodes says that his family combined with Joe's family equals a whole lot more worthy of the DiBiase family. Ted says that is their fathers they are talking about - all great and worthy men of the Hall of Fame; but it isn't about having a Legacy anymore to be great - it's about being better then the other. Rhodes retaliates by saying it's obvious that this is settled then and declares himself and Joe the winners. Brett and Ted look at each other, nod, and rush down to the ring. However, before they can get their hands on the others, they flee from the ring. Both pairs stare each other down, the DiBiase's standing tall in the ring.
Commercial Break
Singles Match R-Truth vs Matt Hardy
The bell rings with Matt Hardy just beating down Truth on the mat. He continues to punch him over and over again and Truth fights back with hard kicks. Well going back and forth, Hardy hits some cheap moves in between but Truth keeps things in his control with his speed and strength. Hardy takes Truth over the top rope and grabs a steel chair. He yells at Truth, and as he gets up, smashes him over the head with the chair, forcing the referee to call for the disqualification.
Winner via disqualification: R-Truth [7:17] **
After the match, Hardy continues to beat Truth down with the steel chair. Multiple referees come rushing down to the ring to stop him, but he doesn't and just continues to beat down Truth. He hits him at least 5 more times before throwing the chair off to the side leaving everybody in shock of his actions. Hardy forces the referees off of him and storms up the ramp with a blank expression on his face, seeming crazed.
Commercial Break
We return to see Josh Mathews. He introduces his guest to be Triple H. He asks Hunter about his loss last night and he claims that he shouldn't of lost last night, claiming that he slipped and fell, unable to get up and that 'punk' Morrison seized the opportunity to pin him. He says that he may of been pinned but he didn't lose, and says that it doesn't matter now though - he's going to beat Big Show tonight and win at Fatal Four Way.
Fatal Four Way Qualifying Match Kane vs Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre
The bell rings with the irony of the match being explained that McIntyre won the title from Kane. They go back and forth to start, but Kane gets an upper hand with a bunch of hard shots. He tosses McIntyre around for a couple minutes aggressively and gets a few near falls following big boots, sidewalk slams, etc. As he goes for the chokeslam, McIntyre manages to reverse it into the Future Shock nicely and gets the pinfall and win.
Winner of the match: Drew McIntyre [8:14] **1/2
McIntyre celebrates his victory with the Intercontinental Championship hugged tight to his chest. He gets out of the ring in a hurry after Kane sits up and backs up towards backstage. Kane glares up the ramp with a usual psychotic look across his face.
Commercial Break
We return and World Heavyweight Champion John Morrison makes his way down to the ring. He gets on the mic and says that last night he retained his World Title against 'The King of Kings' Triple H. He says that the war began when 'The Game' decided to change his ways and beat him up with a sledgehammer. He says that, however, things didn't go 'The Cerebral Assassins' way, and he is standing here with the World Heavyweight Title and not him. The crowd pops to it as Morrison says that in a few weeks comes Fatal Four Way as contenders are being determined tonight - John Cena and Drew McIntyre already qualifying - and there is still one more to go. He looks dead straight into the camera and says that if Triple H so happens to be that last man, he better make sure that he doesn't 'slip and fall' again, because he'll hit the Starship Pain on him again and retain the title. He goes on saying that this year has already been great for him, claiming the World Heavyweight Championship when nobody thought he could ever do it in his career, and defeating the likes of CM Punk and Triple H already at two pay-per-views in a row. He says that he doesn't plan on slowing down anytime soon and 2010 will be the year that the Guru of Greatness shines. He drops the mic and taunts to the crowd, getting out of the ring and sitting at ringside apparently going to be commentating for the main event - which is next.
Commercial Break
Fatal Four Way Qualifying Match Big Show vs Triple H
The bell rings and Hunter unloads with strikes to start, obviously still angry over last night. Show is also angry though, and he tosses Hunter around a bit. They go back and forth for a few minutes, Trips getting the upper hand the majority of the time hitting a lot of signature moves. He can't lift up on the spinebuster though. Show dominates due to that, but after a few minutes, the referee is knocked down and Hunter is chokeslammed and he rolls to the ropes. He reaches between the ring and takes a sledgehammer. He gets to his feet, and as Show turns he is hit in the jaw with it. He tosses the hammer away and Pedigree's Show hard and gets the pin.
Winner of the match: Triple H [12:09] ***
After the match, Hunter celebrates his victory, but Morrison claims that he is sick of seeing this. He removes the headset and gets into the ring and gets in Hunter's face. They begin to argue until they go to blows. Hunter hits a few knees and a spinebuster. He takes the sledgehammer and prepares to strike, but John Cena comes rushing down to the ring and he unloads with strikes at Hunter. However, Drew McIntyre makes his way down as well and attacks Cena from behind. Morrison attacks McIntyre then, and all four men begin to brawl. McIntyre with Cena and Hunter with Morrison. As referees come to split them up, Raw comes to a close.
