The opening pyros go off to welcome everybody to ECW! General Manager Paul Heyman makes his way down to the ring with a grin across his face. He speaks to the crowd and tells them he has been doing a lot of thinking lately and ECW will not die until he does. The crowd pops to that, and Heyman continues on by saying that in a few weeks comes the Pay Per View Over The Limit. He says that the ECW Championship will be defended in an Extreme Rules match, but a contender must be determined. He announces that tonights match between Rob Van Dam and Kaval will determine the #1 contender to face whoever is the ECW Champion at the end of the night. He wishes everybody luck tonight in their respected matches and begins a short lived "E-C-W" chant as Kaval makes his way down to the ring. Him and Heyman stare down a bit before Kaval snags the microphone away and tells Heyman he doesn't like him and never will. The crowd boos as Heyman nods and says he respects his honesty, but he might not want to get too comfortable with coming out here to talk, he's going to need to put up a fight in his ring, and Rob Van Dam makes his way down to the ring, as the match will be on next.
Commercial Break
#1 Contendership to the ECW Championship Kaval vs Rob Van Dam
The bell rings and the match goes back and forth a bit. Kaval gets the upper hand with stiff shots and hard kicks, but RVD manages to fire some back and get momentum himself. He gets a few near falls after hitting a lot of nice drops of different styles. Kaval manages to knock RVD down after a couple minutes and goes for the double stomp, but RVD manages to roll out of the way and picks up momentum with a lot of shots and manages to drive Kaval down and hits the 5 Star Frog Splash quickly and gets the pinfall.
Winner of the match: Rob Van Dam [9:03] ***
RVD celebrates his victory afterward as he will be going to Over the Limit. Kaval looks on from the outside in anger and storms into the ring and shoves RVD. Obviously a mistake, and Kaval learns quickly, as he gets kicked repeatedly until he retreats out of the ring.
Commercial Break
6-Man Tag Match Mike Knox w/Vickie Guerrero, Chavo Guerrero, and Sir Charles Haas vs Evan Bourne, Billy Kidman, and Shelton Benjamin
An odd pairing in a 6 man tag, and things are clustered to start. Lots of action between everybody and the faces get the upper hand when Shelton works hard on Chavo. Frequent tags to everybody on both sides and eventually Knox and Chavo get in an argument, and Benjamin hits the Paydirt on Knox and gets the 3 count with the pin.
Winners of the match: Shelton Benjamin, Evan Bourne, and Billy Kidman [7:25] **
After the match, Benjamin chases Haas up the ramp as Bourne and Kidman exit. Knox stands up and glares at Chavo and pushes him. Vickie quickly gets in the ring and goes to hold Knox back. Knox ignores her and storms at Chavo, and Vickie kicks him where it hurts! Chavo then hits a huge DDT and climbs to the top turnbuckle and delivers a Frog Splash. He gets to his feet and slaps his chest in taunt and Vickie raises his hand as they both grin.
Commercial Break
We return and Mark Henry makes his way down to the ring. He gets on the mic and says it's time for domination back here in ECW. He says he is a former ECW Champion and when he was he dominated. He continues on by claiming that when he left ECW he was a changed man, but it is time for Mark Henry to get what he deserves - the ECW Championship. He claims that it's not about entertaining these people, it's about getting that big paycheck via domination. Ezekiel Jackson surprisingly makes his way down to the ring. He storms right up to Henry with his arm still in a sling from the assault from The Uso's over a month ago. He gets on the mic himself and asks Henry if he said something about domination, and Henry says damn right he did. Jackson laughs a bit and says he'll show him domination right now if he wants. Henry laughs back and tells him he has a snapped arm, and regardless, he'd still kick his ass. Jackson pulls his arm out of the sling and clotheslines Henry hard, almost sending him down, but only wobbles him. He hits another clothesline, but Henry wobbles once more. He misses a big boot and Henry goes to clothesline him now over the top rope, but Jackson ducks it and tips him over the top rope and taunts to the crowd as Henry struggles on the outside.
We cut backstage to see Savannah, and she introduces her guest to be Dolph Ziggler. She asks Ziggler what he thinks of getting an ECW Title shot against Tommy Dreamer - especially in an Extreme Rules match. Ziggler laughs and tells her that he is perfection, so it's quite obvious he's going to destroy Tommy Dreamer at his own game. Savannah asks him what his plans are if he does win the ECW Title, and Ziggler corrects her by saying he will win the ECW Title - and he'll still be perfection, just even better.
Commercial Break
Extreme Rules Match for the ECW Championship Tommy Dreamer© vs Dolph Ziggler
The bell rings and both men fire back and forth and quickly spill to the outside. Dreamer starts to strike around and Ziggler finds a kendo stick under the ring and smacks the champion with it. After a couple minutes of just hardcore destruction with weapons from Ziggler, and nothing anyway, and quickly Dreamer gets an upper hand with a lot of shots, and lays Ziggler out with a steel chair. After getting back in the ring, the challenger manages to hit the Zig Zag and goes for the pin, but Dreamer manages to kick out just barely.
Commercial Break
Some great back and forth action on the outside as we return, and Dreamer is thrown onto the announce table and beat down on it. As a few minutes of just using weapons on Dreamer on the outside, Ziggler taunts to the crowd and commentators. He goes after Dreamer but is tossed into the steel steps. The ECW Champion gets some great control back in the ring, and Ziggler manages to pull a table into the ring and sets it up after laying Dreamer out. He goes to drop Dreamer through it, but the champ's hands are held out and he turns to drop Ziggler through the table with the Samoan Drop and taunts to the crowd. Ziggler rises and is dropped with the Dreamer DDT and is pinned for the 3.
Winner and still ECW Champion: Tommy Dreamer [13:47] ***
After the match, Dreamer celebrates his victory as Rob Van Dam comes down to the ring slowly. He takes the hand of Dreamer and raises it to the crowd, staring at the ECW Title in the process without Dreamer even noticing it. Dreamer celebrates as RVD just smirks watching the championship to end ECW.

Rob Van Dam defeating Kaval is the right decision, as Kaval isn’t ready yet. Kaval telling Heyman he doesn’t like him was pretty cool. The six man tag seems like a solid way to advance storylines. I like the faces winning and the post match activity was solid. I love the angle building between Henry and Zeke – good stuff there. I really did not see Ziggler defeating Dreamer, but I like Dolph getting the opportunity.

ECW, good match made. As I expected, Rob Van Dam walks out victorious, and him versus Tommy Dreamer should be great at Over the Limit. Huge six man tag team match, and a great victory for the faces. A Mark Henry/Ezekiel Jackson feud would be epic, can't wait for this to kick off in matches. Happy that Tommy Dreamer kept the ECW Championship, Ziggler wasn't ready to claim the title yet. Overall, a good ECW.

The opening pyros hit before an unrecognized theme hits the arena as CM Punk, Matt Cross, and Joey Mercury begin to make their way down to the ring. They enter as Punk gets on the mic well holding some kind of case. He speaks to the crowd and introduces himself as 'your savior'. He snickers a bit and says that last week Randy Orton got all caught up with his recruits to change their lifestyles and be more acceptable to society. Perfectly acceptable to what he likes to call the "Straight Edge Society". He continues on by saying you may recognize these men, and introduces Matt Cross and then Joey Mercury. He says that Randy thought it was a good idea to begin to fight off these men who are changing their lives because they understand what they need to do. He tells Matt to tell the crowd why he has joined the Society. He speaks silently at first, so Punk smacks him and tells him to preach to these people what they need to hear. Cross straightens up and says that he used to be like each and every one of the WWE fans, coming out and having a few beers to enjoy the show - but he is the show and doesn't need to be contaminated and those of the crowd should not be contaminated to enjoy what people like CM Punk and himself do. Punk takes the mic back and speaks to the crowd once more and saying he is flattered that he is actually respected around here by somebody. He asks Joey why he has decided to come back to approach him and the WWE and get another chance by cleaning up. He seems a bit nervous at first but then speaks up as Punk glares him down, claiming that the WWE used to be what he worshiped, but that wasn't all. He says he used to be addicted to painkillers and has been every since leaving the WWE a few years ago and it's time to clean up the act and prove to everybody that the career of Joey Mercury is not over, in fact, it is just beginning because CM Punk is going to save him. Punk says the initiation of these men into the Straight Edge Society begins tonight. He takes the case he had earlier and opens it to reveal a razor and scissors. He shows it to the crowd and fingers through the hair of Cross and Mercury, until he is cut off by the music of Randy Orton. The WWE Champion starts to come down to the ring and gets in glaring at all 3 men. Punk holds them back and gets up to Randy, but just grins. He suddenly smacks Orton and begins to get fired at with blows, and Orton delivers shots to Cross and Mercury as well and the Straight Edge Society quickly flee from the ring and back up the ramp as Orton raises the WWE Championship at Punk.
Commercial Break
6-Pack Challenge Qualifying Match Rey Mysterio vs Sheamus
A rematch from the WWE Draft takes place here. Sheamus starts off dominant with vicious shots to send Mysterio down, but the largest little man fights back with kicks and springboard take downs. The crowd starts to get into the match as Mysterio takes both of them to the outside after a couple minutes. They start to fight at the barricade and Sheamus manages to take them both over, the referee counts to 10 as both men struggle to get back.
Winner of the match: No Contest [9:12] **1/2
Following the match, Mysterio and Sheamus begin to shove each other back and forth and start to brawl. Referees come rushing down to hold them back from each other as Abraham Washington follows out to the ramp and starts to holler down at the ring. He says that this is not a problem at all as he has came to a decision of what to do in a situation of this sort - and that is that both men will take part in the 6 Pack Challenge at Over the Limit.
Commercial Break
Non-Title Singles Match Bryan Danielson vs United States Champion Jack Swagger
The bell rings with Swagger in early control on Danielson. However, after taking too much slow time in the first few minutes, Danielson manages to get the upper hand with furious blows. Some nice moves from Danielson, but Swagger manages to take him out with some hard slams. Things are sailing smoothly, and lots of back and forth action follow up. Swagger manages to hit the Gut Wrench Powerbomb after raking the eyes and gets the 3 count.
Winner of the match: Jack Swagger [8:49] ***
Following the match, Swagger begins to celebrate his victory. Danielson rises to his feet and walks up to Swagger, extending his hand. Swagger shakes it, but quickly knees Danielson in the gut and begins to pound down on the back. Danielson starts to strike back, but Swagger ultimately hits the Gut Wrench Powerbomb and raises the US Title high over him.
Commercial Break
We return backstage and see Zack Ryder walking backstage. He steps up behind Kelly Kelly. He taps her shoulder and she turns to him with a smile. He compliments her and asks if she wants to come down to the ring with him tonight, and she says sure. He said his match is up in a little while, so maybe they can chat it up for a little while and talk about a possible managerial future - Woo Woo Woo, You Know It. She laughs, and follows him off the screen.
Chris Jericho comes down to the ring as we cut back to the arena. He gets on the mic as the crowd boos heavily. He says that Big Show wanted a match at Over the Limit -a No Holds Barred Match, and he accepted on Raw. He says that Big Show made a big mistake by turning on him at Extreme Rules and refusing to listen to the best in the world. He says that if you are on the good side of Chris Jericho, you are better off to listen unless you want to end up being a failure and a slob like Big Show has always been. He continues on by claiming that once he is done with Big Show he can move onto bigger and better things, such as the WWE Championship. He says that Big Show thinks a right hook will knock him out cold, but he is the best in the world at what he does and no amount of pain will leave him down. Big Show has heard enough and starts to come down to the ring. He gets on the mic and tells the crowd to applaud Chris Jericho for being so great. The crowd boos Jericho and Show says that he isn't as great as he thinks he is - and the only reason they were Unified Tag Team Champions for 8 months was because he was knocking out people left and right - and now it will be Jericho's turn at Over the Limit. The crowd pops and Jericho tells Big Show to turn around and go back to Raw where he belongs and eat all his junk food he stores in his lockers, because this ring belongs to pure art and talent like himself. Show begins to walk away, then suddenly turns around and delivers a hard punch straight to Jericho's jaw and knocks him out cold. He taunts to the crowd before exiting the ring with a wide grin across his face, as this could happen in just 16 days.
Commercial Break
Non-Title Singles Match Maryse vs Women's Champion Beth Phoenix
The bell rings and both divas start to go back and forth at each other. Beth quickly takes control by tossing Maryse around the ring like a rag doll, but Maryse fights back a bit herself. After some basic hair tugging and not much at all, Beth snaps on Maryse and begins to beat the living hell out of her. However, after a couple minutes Beth delivers the Glam Slam and manages to pick up the win.
Winner of the match: Beth Phoenix [7:14] **
Beth celebrates her victory after the match, as Maryse rolls around in pain.
We cut backstage to see Josh Mathews, and he introduces his guest at this time to be Kofi Kingston. He asks Kofi what his opinions of losing his first match on Smackdown last week are, and Kofi says that it was just a loss, and plus it was done unfairly. Tonight, he will get his revenge on Zack Ryder and will go onto the 6 Pack Challenge and will regain the United States Championship, but this time - he'll be the champion on Smackdown.
Commercial Break
6-Pack Challenge Qualifying Match Zack Ryder w/Kelly Kelly vs Kofi Kingston
The bell rings and Kofi quickly unloads with strikes and kicks. Ryder is quickly dropped to the mat and Kofi takes complete control for a few minutes with his brutal and sharp kicks and shots. Ryder manages to pick up some momentum of his own and gets a few near falls and goes for the leg lariat, but Kofi manages to dip down and take out the other leg. He hits the Boom Drop, and as Ryder rises he yells at Kelly to help him, but she shrugs at him and he turns right into the Trouble in Paradise and is pinned.
Winner of the match: Kofi Kingston [9:40] ***
Following the match, Kofi does his boom clap and invites Kelly into the ring. She gets in and approves of him with a nod as he taunts to the crowd on the top rope. Ryder looks on in disbelief and anger in the corner as Kelly and Kofi taunt to the crowd together. he pulls off his headband and has a temper tantrum.
Commercial Break
Non-Title Tag Team Match The Uso's vs Unified Tag Team Champions Edge and Christian
The bell rings and quickly both teams go at it delivering frequent tags to their partners and trading momentum. Edge spears Jules on the outside, and Jimmy takes control of Christian on the inside. After some frequent tags between E&C, Jules eventually is tagged in and takes control with tons of vicious slams. However, after a blind tag, Edge spears him and Christian hits the Killswitch and gets the pin.
Winners of the match: Edge and Christian [10:11] ***
Edge and Christian celebrate their victory and high five. However, The Hart Dynasty come down to the ring. Edge asks what the hell they want and Smith tells him it's pretty obvious they just saw them beat a worthless team, nothing compared to The Hart Dynasty. E&C crack some jokes about Smith and Kidd, before Kidd fires back by saying that they have been mentored in the past few months, and when it comes to Over the Limit, Edge and Christian are screwed.
We then cut backstage to see MVP in Teddy Long's office. He says that he would be more then happy to compete for a spot in the 6 Pack Challenge next week, and he'll do it. Batista comes in on his crutches and glares at MVP. He tells him not to get too comfortable with himself here on Smackdown, it's still his show. MVP laughs a bit and tells him he might want to get off those crutches before he starts talking trash or else he'll get even more of a beat down then he would without them. Batista tells him once he is back on his feet, he will make sure MVP is the first one he takes out.
Commercial Break
We return and the Straight Edge Society make their way back down to the ring. Punk says that earlier tonight he was rudely interrupted by Randy Orton, the joke of a champion, as he was about to initiate these two brave men. Now that he has gotten the time given by Abraham Washington, "the best General Manager in all off the WWE", he can continue on with what was going to happen. He tells Cross and Mercury to get chairs, and they go and retrieve them. He orders them to put them down and take a seat. They do so, and Punk puts his hand on Cross' shoulder, telling him to raise his hand and then asking him if he is ready to accept straight edge into his life. Cross says "yes" repeatedly, and Punk asks him if he is ready to accept CM Punk as his savior. Cross once again repeats "yes" and Punk smiles as he takes out the razor and begins to shave the head of Cross, who has a smile on his face. After finishing, Cross rises with his buzz cut and taunts to the crowd. Punk then goes over to Mercury and begins the same process, and eventually buzz's his hair as well. He grabs hold of both of their wrists and taunts to the crowd before motioning for the WWE Championship. Randy Orton slowly slithers into the ring behind all 3 of them. Mercury and Cross take notice first, and quickly run only to meet the same fate as early and get beaten down. Orton gets so distracted with them, Punk attacks him from behind and starts to stomp him down in the corner and tells Cross and Mercury to hold him down. They get on the outside and fold his arms over the bottom rope and Punk begins to unload with strikes to the head. He gets in Orton's face and tells him never to interrupt him again. He calls the Society back into the ring, and they pull Orton up and set him onto Punk's shoulders, who drops Orton with the GTS and smirks disturbingly at what he has done. Cross and Mercury both get down on one knee and put a hand on Punk's shoulder as he looks to the camera with a grin to end Smackdown.

-SD! -Nice way to kick off the show with Orton interrupting -Fine to see both men make it in -Swagger winning is fine, I hope DB makes it into OVL 6 man match -Nice segment, Jericho/Show should be and will be good. -Kofi with the win is a bit obvious, but Ryder in the title hunt would have been nice. -E&C winning is fine, THD/E&C should be good. -SES out again? Not a fan of that. Segment got it's point across though, and Punk gaining the upper-hand on Orton is a great way to end the show.

SmackDown, great way to open up, I am liking the Orton/Punk feud. Good choice to have Mysterio/Sheamus go to a No Contest, allowing them both to qualify for the Six-Pack Challenge. Jack Swagger winning makes most sense, gives him some momentum going into Over the Limit. I look forward to the Chris Jericho/Big Show encounter at Over the Limit. I hope Jericho walks out with the victory. Good to see the Womens Champion, Beth Phoenix winning. Kofi Kingston qualifying for the Six-Pack Challenge makes the most sense. I am pleased that Edge and Christian defeated The Uso's, and I still think The Uso's shouldn't be nowhere near the Champions, even in non-title action. Loved the ending here, I look forward to an Over the Limit encounter between the two, and I see CM Punk walking out with the WWE Championship when it happens. Good SmackDown.

5: Jack Swagger The United States Champion once again got a victory, defeating Bryan Danielson, and will defend the title in a 6 Pack Challenge at Over the Limit.

22: Michelle McCool McCool got the win against Gail Kim on Raw, but was met up by Serena after the match, who got beat down with fists after beating her down with words.

24: Bryan Danielson The uprising star in the WWE falls to Jack Swagger not only in a match, but afterward too as he was laid out following a false handshake.
25: Dolph Ziggler Putting up a good fight against the ECW Champion wasn't good enough, as Ziggler was ultimately put away and lost the title match.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Farewell to: Maryse: After getting a win on Kelly Kelly the week before, Maryse was dominated by Beth Phoenix in a non-title match on Smackdown.
Batista: On crutches still, The Animal is forced to fall off the list regardless of his strong words towards MVP on Smackdown.
Mike Knox: On the losing side on ECW, Vickie Guerrero turned on him and aligned herself with her nephew, Chavo.
Other Earning Votes: MVP: The heat continues with MVP and Batista, if MVP can win next week - he'll most likely be on the Power 25.
Shelton Benjamin: Things rebound for Shelton as he manages to pick up the pinfall for his team on ECW.
Ezekiel Jackson: Jackson returned to ECW after being out with an arm injury, and showed dominance on Mark Henry.

Singles Match Tyson Kidd w/David Hart Smith and Natalya vs Unified Tag Team Champion Christian w/Edge

Kidd uses his quickness and youth to continue gaining momentum throughout mid-match. Christian gets some shots in, but fails to hit the Killswitch and after a few more minutes of Kidd control, Smith grabs Christian's ankle, leading to him being distracted and Kidd hitting the Code Blue and getting the pinfall.
Winner of the match: Tyson Kidd [9:04] ***
Following the match, Kidd celebrates his victory. However, Edge comes rushing into the ring and spears him! Smith gets into the ring and avoids it, and manages to deliver the running powerslam. As Christian begins to rise up and go after him, Kidd and Smith quickly get out of the ring and back up the ramp with Natalya. Christian checks down on Edge as The Hart Dynasty motion for the gold. A dark figure is shown on the titantron applauding them.

We return being shown the crowd before John Cena makes his way down to the ring. He plays to the crowd a bit before speaking to them and stating that the champ is here. He then says he's out here to talk about the one they call Miz. The crowd boos, and Cena says that ever since he lost to The Undertaker at WrestleMania and The Miz won the Money in the Bank at WrestleMania, The Miz has thought he was more awesome then ever. He even got the win at Extreme Rules, but it was also a Falls Count Anywhere Match. Cena claims that Miz can't beat him in a regular match and he knows it. Before he can say anything more, The Miz cuts him off and comes down to the ring. He grins at Cena and says that he did beat him at Extreme Rules and he did cost him the match last week - and it's eating him up inside. He claims that John Cena is just dying to beat The Miz, but this is 2010 and it is the year of The Miz. Cena tells him he can go on gloating, but at Over the Limit it's a different story because just like last year he will get his ass kicked. Miz laughs it off and tells Cena he is Mr. Money in the Bank, he beat 7 other men at WrestleMania and proved to the WWE Universe he is worthy of being the World Champion - and he proved it even more by beating John Cena, and having his number by a large margin. Cena gets up in his face and says he came out here to get things off his chest - and he has. But he's going to take them and put them into Miz's face, and begins to strike at him until he scatters from the ring. Cena follows after him and continues to strike up the ramp and he picks Miz up for the Attitude Adjustment, but he rakes the eyes and quickly scurries his way backstage.

Singles Match Cody Rhodes vs World Heavyweight Champion John Morrison
The bell rings and Rhodes gets the early upper hand with lots of strikes and strong slams and suplexes. Morrison fights back though with his speed and smoothness, and gets momentum within the next few minutes and a couple near falls. He fails to execute on the Moonlight Drive and Rhodes hits the Cross Rhodes. However, Morrison kicks out of a pin attempt. They go back and forth for the next couple minutes and Rhodes goes for Cross Rhodes again but Morrison pulls out and takes ultimate control and hits the Starship Pain following a superkick and gets the pin.
Winner of the match: John Morrison [10:45] ***
After the match, Morrison celebrates his victory and taunts to the crowd the World Title. Triple H is shown on the screen backstage watching a monitor.
Commercial Break
Non-Title Singles Match Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre vs R-Truth
The bell rings and Truth gets the early control with lots of fast paced moves that drives McIntyre out of the ring. They brawl a bit on the inside, and continue just brawling once they get back in the ring. Truth is quickly overpowered by the champion with lots of hard shots and drops, but he regains momentum. However, as he is going for the Axe Kick, Matt Hardy rushes down to the ring and distracts him. McIntyre hits the Future Shock on the turn and gets the pin.
Winner of the match: Drew McIntyre [8:24] **1/2
After the match, McIntyre celebrates his victory as Hardy gets into the ring. He begins to stomp down on Truth as McIntyre watches. Soon Hardy glares at him then suddenly pounces onto him and starts to beat down on him. Everybody is confused by Hardy's actions as McIntyre slips out of the ring and Hardy has a possessed look on his face. He drags Truth back to his feet and hits the Twist of Fate, and glares at McIntyre once again as he backs up the ramp.
Commercial Break
Singles Match Big Show vs William Regal
The bell rings and Regal just fires away with shots. Show doesn't budge and begins to dominate him with all of his power. Regal doesn't want to put up with it and just continues to unload, and Show gets a little wobbly and Regal gets a bit of momentum, but Show hits a big boot and a few slams before putting Regal out of his misery with the chokeslam and pins him for the 3.
Winner of the match: Big Show [5:50] *1/2
Show celebrates his victory after. However, Chris Jericho comes into the ring behind him with a steel chair again. He swings it as Show turns, but he ducks it and goes for the Knockout Punch but Jericho blocks it with the chair. Show holds his hand in pain from it, and Jericho takes advantage on his bending over and hits the Codebreaker. He gets back to his feet and grabs a mic. He says that he should of never teamed up with Big Show, because their break down would happen. He then claims Show should wish the same - because he is going to be embarrassed like never before at Over the Limit.
Commercial Break
We return as Goldust and Santino Marella are backstage. Marella is acting like he is cool with sunglasses on and talking with a fake deep voice. Goldust begins to mock him and Cody Rhodes walks by. Goldust stops him and asks him what's wrong and Cody tells him not to talk to him - he's an embarrassment to the family name unlike himself. He claims he is a prodigy and it is etched in stone he should be the World Heavyweight Champion. He storms off as Goldust looks upset at what he said, and Santino pats his shoulder and says not to let it get to him - it's just that time of the month.
We then go to Josh Mathews, who introduces his guest to be Ted DiBiase. He asks Ted about this year and just as he had the opportunity to seize winning the WWE Title at Extreme Rules, Cody Rhodes cost him it, and wants to know what his thoughts are. Ted tells him that he won the Royal Rumble, and he got Cody an opportunity to get in the WrestleMania match, but then after he was pinned, after he was defeated, by Randy Orton - and then disappeared after losing to him the next night, but then decided to be jealous of his accomplishment and cost him the title, and his thoughts are plain and simple: Cody Rhodes is sad and disgraces the history of this business that their fathers helped build. He says that he isn't worrying about that right now, he has Triple H to face.
Commercial Break
Singles Match Ted DiBiase vs Triple H
The bell rings and Triple H takes control to start with lots of power. Ted fights back though and gets some momentum of his own for a few minutes, and drops Hunter multiple times and gets a few near falls. However, the 13 time World Champion dominates with his brutal strikes and strength. After not being able to finish things off following minutes of momentum with punches, knees, and a spinebuster, Hunter can't hit the Pedigree as DiBiase drops him over, and starts to strike before the #1 contender manages to quickly escape from the ring and try to regroup.
Commercial Break
We return with Ted in control on the mat, applying a chinlock. After a while of holding it, Hunter pulls them up and takes control again with more heavy strikes and hits a few hard slams and a couple more knees. He gets fired up to the crowd's displeasure, and delivers a spinebuster and prepares for the Pedigree. He hits it, but doesn't go for the pin and slips out of the ring. He grabs the sledgehammer and waits for DiBiase to rise. However, John Morrison comes rushing down to the ring to stop him and ducks a shot from the sledgehammer and begins to strike at him. DiBiase gets up to assist, but Cody Rhodes comes rushing down and gets into the mix as well, taking DiBiase down. The referee has no choice but to call for the bell.
Winner of the match: No Contest [14:22] ***1/2
Rhodes works on DiBiase now and Hunter works on Morrison. They both continue to beat them down as the crowd boos, and Rhodes hits the Cross Rhodes as Triple H hits a devastating Pedigree. Both men rise and look down at what they have done to their Over the Limit opponents. They don't even look at each other, but both grin at the chaos they have caused by laying out their respected rivals to bring an end to Raw.

ECW on SyFy: Tuesday 4th May 2010...Pretty decent promo to kick off the show, as Paul Heyman basically sets up a good concept going into the ECW Championship match upcoming at Over the Limit. Kaval and Rob Van Dam would definitely have a solid match; very good exchange here and probably elevated Kaval's persona very well. RVD winning served as no true surprise, however. Next, a filler but pretty decent six-man tag team match; it reminds me of 2008 where cluster tag team matches were decent, and made from performers doing next to nothing at the time. Seemed strange that it only got two stars, however; with talent such as Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas and Evan Bourne. Mike Knox wasn't so necessary in this almost cruiserweight display, though. Chavo Guerrero beating down Mike Knox...odd. I dislike the fact you had Chavo feud with Rey Mysterio in a WrestleMania XXVI match, then drop to ECW. The feud over Vickie Guerrero is intriguing, however. I do not like how Vickie was with Knox, then with Knox and Eric Escobar; then turned on Escobar for Knox. And now she's with Chavo again. Mark Henry's promo was decent; but with a feud against Ezekiel Jackson I see this being a strong way to evolve Zeke's character. Mark doesn't serve that much purpose anymore. Decent main event; would have loved to see Dolph Ziggler win the ECW Championship in a shocker main event; but nevermind. Tommy Dreamer facing Rob Van Dam is nostalgic, but at Over the Limit...not so sure about. A decent show as a whole.
WWE SmackDown: Friday 7th May 2010...Wow, the birth of the Straight Edge Society here is great; a solid promo to kick things off and basically set the scene for the future. Interesting concept here, and with Randy Orton; you could run the hair angle with Orton saying he used to smoke a lot and have a bad attitude, but heading for Straight Edge not being the answer. Punk could accuse Orton of wanting to be Straight Edge and whatnot. Interesting decision for the six-pack challenge to end in a no contest between Sheamus and Rey Mysterio; double count-out finishes are rare nowadays, too. A feud between these two would be pretty interesting, but the fact both men were counted out and both somehow advanced into the Six-Pack Challenge...not an ethical decision, really. Jack Swagger obviously needed to beat Bryan Danielson; decent match there, good win for the WWE United States Champion and so his momentum continues. Chris Jericho's promo was great to close off the first hour, basically setting up for the conclusion of his feud with former Jerishow partner, Big Show. Beth Phoenix and Maryse didn't have a bad match; decent win for Beth, though. Kofi Kingston overcoming Zack Ryder in another qualifying match didn't take too much to figure out. Best case scenario there; would have been odd seeing Ryder in the Six-Pack Challenge. Edge and Christian beating The Uso's was obvious; Jimmy and Jules aren't at that stage yet. To face the WWE Unified Tag Team Champions after two months in the company, let alone for the belts. The Hart Dynasty winning the belts from Edge and Christian would do so much for their careers, too. MVP and Batista would be a slightly strange program, but nevermind. Dislike the fact there's another promo, solidifying Matt Cross and Joey Mercury's dedication. Randy Orton's further involvement was nice though; Punk and Orton at Over the Limit for the WWE Championship would be good. A decent show overall.

- Solid opening promo – the matches added to Over the Limit are nice and SNME should be a classic - I like Kidd defeating Christian with the help of Smith as it lends them momentum - I love the super push of the Miz, he can really be a star and this feud with Cena can really benefit him - Morrison winning is the right call as it would be poor for Cody to stop Morrison’s momentum - I like Hardy leveling Truth after his match with Drew, good stuff there - I love Jericho feuding with Show – brilliant stuff - I love Ted’s promo, a lot of emotion there - The no contest was the right call and a solid way to end raw
