The pyros go off as we are welcomed to ECW. We are told about Rob Van Dam speaking tonight for the first time since coming back to ECW due to the draft.
Singles Match Kaval vs Shelton Benjamin
The bell rings and both men smoothly go back and forth with tons of shots on each other. Benjamin takes control with a few minutes hitting a lot of sharp kicks and some of his amateur wrestling moves. Kaval fights back with some shots of his own and lays Benjamin out multiple times. However, as things begin to pick up in Benjamin's favor, Sir Charles Haas runs down and clotheslines him causing the DQ.
Winner via disqualification: Shelton Benjamin [9:28] **1/2
Following the match, Haas continues to beat Benjamin down. He yanks him back up and tosses him into the steel post. He taunts to the crowd to boos, repeatedly calling himself the greatest. He continue to beat down Benjamin, before he gets up and strikes back at Haas. They brawl around until referees come down to split them up.
Commercial Break
Singles Match Chavo Guerrero w/Vickie Guerrero vs Evan Bourne w/Billy Kidman
The bell rings and both men go back and forth to start before Bourne gets the upper hand with his very fast paced action. Lots of kicks and some huge drop moves. Chavo cheaply rakes the eyes and takes control with some hard drops of his own. As Bourne goes for his top rope knees to the chest, Chavo avoids it and quickly hits a kick to the gut and a fast set of the 3 Amigos and then the Frog Splash, placing his feet on the ropes for the 3.
Winner of the match: Chavo Guerrero [8:34] ***
Following the match, the Guerrero's celebrate with each other. However, Mike Knox comes storming down to the ring. Vickie quickly gets out of the ring, and Chavo stays. Knox gets in and then Chavo exits, as Knox looks on angry at him. Chavo starts to get back into the ring, and Knox come running. However, Chavo avoids him and Vickie tosses him a chair through the ropes and he clocks Knox over the head with it. He taunt to the crowd as Vickie looks satisfied.
We then cut to Savannah, who is backstage. She introduces her guest to be Ezekiel Jackson. She asks him how it feels to be back, and he says it feels great. He says that he is going to prove each week that he is the definition of domination, and anybody who wants to question it, can step up. He says tonight, he dominates on Mark Henry. He begins to walk away, but steps back and says "And Abraham - I haven't forgotten about you over there on Smackdown."
Commercial Break
We return backstage to see Paul Heyman. He hangs up his phone and in comes Dolph Ziggler. He starts to complain that last week he was not given a fair chance for the ECW Title. He says that he could beat Tommy Dreamer fair and square in a normal match. He says that the only time he ever does win - is when there are no rules. Heyman says that Tommy Dreamer is the true definition of Extreme Championship Wrestling. He says that if Dolph wants another shot - in a regular match - he can face Rob Van Dam at Saturday Night's Main Event, and if he doe win - he can get the chance. Dolph walks off seeming satisfied with it.
Singles Match Mark Henry vs Ezekiel Jackson
The bell rings and Henry starts to take control with blows at Jackson. However, Jackson doesn't fall down and quickly strikes back ruthlessly. The commentators put over how he has been calling himself domination ever since being on his own, and continues to control. Henry is surprised when he doesn't pick Jackson up, and quickly gets beat down by Jackson, and eventually he shockingly delivers the chokeslam, shaking the whole ring. The World's Strongest Man is covered for the 3.
Winner of the match: Ezekiel Jackson [7:48] **
Following the match, Jackson taunts to the crowd and over Henry claiming he is domination.
Commercial Break
We return and Rob Van Dam makes his way down to the ring and gets on the mic with a grin. A "R-V-D" chant breaks out and he tells the crowd not to chant his initial, but to chant what made him's initials "E-C-W". The crowd does so and he talks about the hitory of his being in ECW and how great it is to be back - especially getting a shot at the ECW Title at Over the Limit, especially against his good friend Tommy Dreamer. He says that he isn't all about winning, but at Over the Limit, he has a good feeling the ECW Title is coming to him. The crowd has a mixed reaction to it, and Tommy Dreamer makes his way down to the ring. He gets on the mic and says that him and Rob talked right after he was drafted back to ECW, and he is going to say to these people what he said to him - welcome back to where you belong. He says that it is his honor to face Rob at Over the Limit, representing what ECW is all about. He offers a handshake, but Rob doesn't take it and says that he respects Tommy - but he should know better then anybody, that in ECW - everybody is all about that title. He shockingly hits a spin kick to him, and then hits the Rolling Thunder. The crowd boos as he hops onto the top turnbuckle and hits the 5 Star Frog Splash. The crowd boos in a huge eruption, and RVD puts the ECW Title over his shoulder and does his "R-V-D" thumb taunt as Dreamer lays on the mat.

ECW, a DQ victory for Benjamin makes sense, continuing his feud with Haas. Always good to see Chavo with the victory, and I like what you're doing with the Knox storyline. Pleased that Ezekiel Jackson goes over here, and I wonder if he will get Washington soon? RVD heel turn? I love it! He would make the perfect heel, without even having to have heel tactics, RVD just has that character what could work either way, seeing as he is pretty arrogant, a bit like Shawn Michaels. I like this ECW, the RVD turn was definitely the highlight, I look forward to Over the Limit.

-Great opening match. The DQ finish was the right call. -Hopefully Chavo gets a decent push now. Not an amazing push just a non-jobber push. -You and Elliot both had Big Zeke' and Henry. Same result too. -This was my favorite ECW. I loved the ending here. I'm totally hyped for OTL.

WWE RAW: Monday 10th May 2010...Decent promo to kick things off on the show with Theodore Long in the ring cutting a promo on the main event. Should be a good epic main event with Triple H facing Ted Dibiase; and John Morrison taking on Cody Rhoes. The Miz facing Cena & Dibiase facing Rhodes at Over the Limit are both pretty heated matches; I look forward to them. And ah, the return of Saturday Night's Main Event. I just think that should have been announced earlier, with it being within the next two weeks. Hmm, the win over Christian by Tyson Kidd did elevate the Hart Dynasty a great deal, but really not fond of Kidd having beat Christian unless Edge is to beat David Hart Smith at a later date, headed into WWE Unified Tag Team Championships warfare at Over the Limit. Team LayCool beating Serena Mancini and Eve is alright; Eve and Layla dragged the match, though. McCool and Serena feuding is interesting; you could even end up with McCool and her obnoxious attitude shaving Serena to relate to real life events. To make their rivalry personal. Next, great first-hour closing promo by John Cena setting things up continued with The Miz. Looking forward to Over the Limit but feel that if Cena wants to keep his momentum high, he must win. It has elevated Miz enough; has this rivalry. John Morrison beating Cody Rhodes is rightful; a great match there admittedly. I saw that on SmackDown the other week. Following this, Drew McIntyre beating R-Truth seemed likely; I think you should consider McIntyre dropping the WWE Intercontinental Championship soon, however. He has held it about six months now. Poor William Regal, but alright win for the dominant Big Show headed into battle with Chris Jericho in thirteen days. Lastly, great main event with Ted Dibiase and Triple H; very enjoyable match and the finish was intriguing, interference from John Morrison and Cody Rhodes. A great show overall; Over the Limit is shaping up nicely.
ECW on SyFy: Tuesday 11th May 2010...Sharp opening contest to kick things off in the best way possible; Shelton Benjamin needs to rise to the top of ECW and get an ECW Championship reign for serving more than a year on ECW jobbing out. Even this win over Kaval shows how much he has been damaged, personally. His feud with Charlie Haas has got to be nearing an end somehow. It's just a shame it's on ECW where World's Greatest Tag Team explodes. Chavo Guerrero beating Evan Bourne immediately put Chavo over in a great match that I'm happy to see, Chavo attacking even Mike Knox is impressive and this last time push of Chavo with Vickie Guerrero is great. Ezekiel Jackson beating Mark Henry put Zeke over good; fine win for Ezekiel. Lastly, nice heated promo by Tommy Dreamer and Rob Van Dam, promoting their Extreme Rules collision at Over the Limit. Looking forward to it, but really not fond of how it's happened here when it seems like something that would happen on the final week's build before the pay-per-view. But yes, a decent episode as a whole.

- Charlie Haas costing Shelton the match is pretty good in my eyes. It keeps Kaval strong and allows the former tag team partners to continue their feud. - I was actually pretty surprised to see Chavo defeat Evan, but I can deal with it. - I am interested to see what you do with Knox, although Chavo knocking him out is only damaging. - I love how Ezekiel just how a great monster feel to him. - I like the slow build of Dolph, but I really hope he does not win the belt. - Zeke winning the match was the right decision as he needs all the momentum he can get. - I was stunned to see RVD attack Tommy Dreamer, but I LOVE IT! RVD was always the perfect heel.

l May 14, 2010 l HSBC Arena: Buffalo, NY l
The opening pyros go off as Jim Ross and Matt Striker welcomes everybody to Smackdown, and run down a bit of the card and the huge champion vs champion main event. The Straight Edge Society make their way down to the ring and Punk gets on the mic to heavy heat. He tells the crowd to calm down and listen to what he has to say. As they boo him more he makes the remark that obviously since they are in New York, all these people must've been drunk before they even entered the arena. He gets a lot more heat for that, and he says that he didn't come out here to talk about the fans, even though he could go on for hours with points about what makes them pathetic, but he came out here to talk about Randy Orton and the WWE Championship. He looks into the camera with a sympathetic look on his face telling Randy that he can help him - he can save him from succumbing to the cigarettes and alcohol he is offered by the people he sees on the street in an effort to have a good time with somebody famous. Punk says that if Randy wants to live like that, he can go ahead and do so - but he'll be making himself look pathetic. He puts his hand up and says that he isn't asking for Randy to come down here and facing him, but he is asking for Randy to make the right decision and join the Straight Edge Society. With a grin, he says that if Randy wants to join the Society, it can be plain, simple, and painless at Over the Limit - or he can turn down this offer and be forced to Go to Sleep. Punk drops their microphone down as himself and The Society grin, raising their fists as the crowd erupts with a large amount of boos.
Commercial Break
6-Pack Challenge Qualifying Match Bryan Danielson vs Carlito
As the bell rings, Carlito doesn't take Danielson seriously but is quickly beat down to the mat and locked into tons of variations of submission holds. Carlito tries to fight back quickly, but Danielson uses his independent experience to work Carlito well, keeping him on the mat. Carlito gets some momentum with some cheap shots and almost hits the Backstabber, but Danielson manages to roll through very quickly and applies the Cattle Mutilation and eventually Carlito taps out in pain.
Winner of the match: Bryan Danielson [8:47] **1/2
Following the match, Danielson taunts to the crowd and motions for the United States Title.
Commercial Break
6-Pack Challenge Qualifying Match Montel Vontavious Porter vs Chris Masters
The bell rings and Masters quickly uses his strength to constantly take MVP down. However, it doesn't do much for long as MVP fights back with some nice moves of his own and gets a few near falls within the next couple minutes after taking Masters down. They go back and forth for a while before MVP takes complete control and finishes things off with the Drive-By Kick and gets the final pinfall.
Winner of the match: Montel Vontavious Porter [7:21] **
MVP celebrates his victory after the match and taunts to the crowd much like Danielson did, and motions for the US Title.
Commercial Break
We return as MVP is walking up the ramp still in celebration until Batista makes his way out to the ramp still on his crutches. He gets on the mic, glaring at MVP. He says to him he is sick and tired of just talking. He says that in 2 weeks, he'll be back on his feet - and challenges MVP to a match. He says that when it comes to that time, he'll be the United States Champion - and he's more then willing to accept the challenge and even put the title on the line! The crowd pops to it and Batista says he'll proudly take the title - even though he doesn't even need it. MVP goes on a speech about how Batista thinks he is this big bad and tough guy - but the real truth is that he is on crutches and can't do a damn thing. They bicker back and forth before MVP says he'll see him in 2 weeks.
We then cut backstage to see Abraham Washington. He is talking to Jimmy and Jules Uso and begins to raise his voice a bit calling them failures for not beating Edge and Christian last week. He says he gave them an opportunity back over on ECW - and now that they are with him on Smackdown, they need to step it back up. He says that right now - they can't get another match against them, because Edge has to face DH Smith next. He says that he is sending them to get better and stronger, and when they come back - they can take the Unified Tag Team Titles.
Commercial Break
Singles Match DH Smith w/Tyson Kidd and Natalya vs Unified Tag Team Champion Edge w/Christian
The bell rings and both men go back and forth to start. Smith gets a few quick near falls after a bunch of hard throw downs. Edge gets some hard shots in though, and gets some near falls himself. After some nice signature moves from both superstars, Edge fails to hit a spear and is dropped with the running powerslam. However, he manages to kick out of a pin attempt and hits a sudden spear after dropping off the shoulder from another powerslam attempt and getting the pin and the 3.
Winner of the match: Edge [9:22] ***
Tyson Kidd quickly hops into the ring after and begins to beat down Edge, but Christian comes in and begins to attack Kidd. The Hart Dynasty quickly get out of the ring before any damage can be done to them. They back up the ramp as this time this week, Edge and Christian stand tall against their Over the Limit opponents.
Commercial Break
Singles Match Kofi Kingston vs Rey Mysterio
The bell rings and both men quickly go back and forth with some fast paced action. Kingston gets the upper hand with some hard tossovers and sharp kicks. Mysterio hits some of his own and they work really smoothly together going back and forth with high risk moves. Mysterio fails to hit the 619, and Kingston gets control with lots of strikes. However, Mysterio goes for the 619 again and hits it, but as he goes for a springboard on the rise, he is hit with the Trouble in Paradise and is pinned.
Winner of the match: Kofi Kingston [10:36] ***1/2
After this great match, Kingston helps Rey back up to his feet and they shake hands. However, Sheamus comes in from behind and clotheslines them both down with authority. He begins to beat both men down hard, and yanks Kofi up and hits the Celtic Cross. He then hits the Bicycle Kick as Mysterio rises and taunts to the crowd.
We then see Maryse making her way down to the ring - she's in action next.
Commercial Break
Singles Match Maryse vs Local
The bell rings and the local woman really doesn't stand much of a chance to the former divas champion as she is quickly dominated by Maryse. She gets a few shots in and bit of control, but Maryse doesn't take it for long and just starts to punish her rather then try and get the win. She eventually gives up on just showing domination and hits the French Kiss DDT and gets the pinfall.
Winner of the match: Maryse [4:41] *1/2
Following the match, Maryse gets on the mic and speaks to the crowd in French. They boo her and she rolls her eyes before calling Beth Phoenix everything but a diva. She says that she is sick and tired of seeing women like her coming in here like a man and trying to prove things. She claims she'll take the Women's Title.
We cut backstage to see Josh Mathews, and he introduces his guest to be Jack Swagger. He asks him about facing the WWE Champion, Randy Orton. Swagger says that he doesn't feel any different then when he comes down to that ring every week and proves why he is an All-American American, and the United States Champion. He says that once he beats Orton, he'll be elevated even higher and will soon be the WWE Champion, and United States Champion.
Commercial Break
Non-Title Champion vs Champion Match United States Champion Jack Swagger vs WWE Champion Randy Orton
The bell rings and Orton gets the early control with lots of hard and rough shots. Swagger fights back though showing his amateur wrestling side and takes Orton down multiple times and gets a few near falls. However, Orton fights back on his feet and gets a lot of hard shots and some near falls of his own. The crowd gets really behind him, and he goes to punt Swagger, but he quickly rolls away and out of the ring to take a breather.
Commercial Break
We return and for the next couple minutes, Swagger controls in the corners and against the ropes, but as he goes for the Gut Wrench Powerbomb, Orton manages to drop down and work down Swagger quickly. After lots of Orton control, he is hit with the Gut Wrench Powerbomb but kicks out of a pin attempt. As Swagger takes his time working on Orton more, The Viper suddenly strikes with a sudden RKO and gets the quick 3 count.
Winner of the match: Randy Orton [14:07] ***
After the match, Orton celebrates his victory. However, the voice of CM Punk is heard as he walks down the ramp telling Randy he is here to help him. He asks Randy if he wants to be saved by him right here and right now, and Orton snatches the mic away and tells him that he doesn't want to be a part of any cult, especially if CM Punk is the leader. Punk says "very well, then" and Joey Mercury and Matt Cross attack Orton from behind. However, they are quickly fended off so Punk takes advantage off it and starts to beat Orton down at well. They get a lot of offense until Orton completely explodes with RKOs on Cross and Mercury, but as he goes to hit Punk with one, he quickly pushes him off and gets out of the ring. Orton raises the WWE Title as him and Punk stare down to end Smackdown.

The opening pyros go off as we are welcomed to this special commercial free Raw! Not long after the introduction, John Cena makes his way down to the ring to a loud pop from the crowd. He speaks to them saying that the past few months have been pretty rough on him - from losing the WWE Title, to losing who he was, and then losing to a horse faced jackass. The crowd gets a laugh at the last one, and Cena says that he'll be able to get another shot at that jackass this Sunday, and that jackass' name is The Miz. The crowd boos his name massively and Cena says that there are some upsides to The Miz... like his name is really short and easy to remember, even if you don't want to remember it. Convenient. He says in all seriousness this Sunday it is not a Falls Count Anywhere Match, therefore The Miz can't use any type of weapon to try and beat him - he has to do it himself, but he will not be able to take him down because he cannot win fairly. Cena chuckles and says that even this Saturday on Saturday Night's Main Event, The Miz will be on the losing side of the 10-man tag team match - and he hopes that he is the one getting the pin on him. He says that he knows for a fact that he will beat The Miz and that everybody in the arena knows it, and even The Miz knows it. Before he can say more, The Miz makes his way down to the ring with a disgusted look on his face. He speaks to Cena like he's a child and asks him if he really thinks he can beat him. When the crowd cheers the question, he begins to ask them if they think John Cena will beat him this Sunday. He gets into his 'really?' mode, before slapping Cena across the face. He points at him and says that not only is he better then him, and not only did he beat him at Extreme Rules, he has actually been winning ever since John Cena lost the WWE Championship. He raises the Money in the Bank briefcase slowly, and says that well Cena was losing to The Undertaker, somebody who "he could beat easily", he was winning Money in the Bank. The crowd boo him and he says that it's just another proven factor in this match. They stare down a bit before Cena pipes up and apologizes, saying that ever since he slapped him across the face he's been waiting to beat the hell out of him, and throws the mic down and begins to strike at Miz. However, Miz ducks one shot and hits Cena with his Money in the Bank briefcase. As Cena begins to rise, he strikes him with it again. He tosses it off to the side as Cena gets to his feet and delivers the Skull Crushing Finale. He takes the briefcase and gets out of the ring, backing up the ramp in taunt.
We cut to backstage to see Teddy Long. He shakes his head as Edge and Christian step into his office. He says hello to them and shakes their hands and they both say what an honor it is to be here again, and Christian says it's even more of an honor he gets to beat David Hart Smith tonight. Edge points out that he did lose to Tyson Kidd last week, and Christian says it was a fluke, and Edge fires back by saying he won his match last week. Christian sighs and turns to him and says that last week is over, this is a new week - plus he had the Swine Flu last week. Edge claims that is so last year, and Teddy stops them after they start to argue. He says that he is happy that they are here on Raw, especially a commercial free Raw - but they might want to get ready.
Singles Match David Hart Smith w/Tyson Kidd and Natalya vs Unified Tag Team Champion Christian w/Edge
The bell rings and the two lock up. Smith gets an early advantage by dropping Christian to the mat multiple times. However, Christian fights back with some hard shots and a few knock downs. He gets a couple near falls over the coarse of a couple minutes, but Smith nails the running powerslam. It doesn't put him away though, and he gets angry with more momentum power. However, Christian manages to fight back hard and gets a lot of dropkicks and shots in. After some back and forth action, Christian slips off the shoulder from another powerslam attempt and hits the Killswitch and gets the pinfall.
Winner of the match: Christian [9:02] ***
Following the match, Tyson Kidd hops onto the apron but as soon as he does Edge comes running from the other side and goes for the spear, but Kidd kicks him in the jaw to stop him. He then takes him by the hair and tights and slams his shoulder into the steel post. Smith lifts Christian up and Kidd delivers the springboard clothesline for the Hart Attack. Natalya joins in the ring with them as they taunt, and their mentor appears on the titantron clapping again. As they point to the titantron with smirks, the mentor speaks up in a raspy voice simply stating "See you on Sunday."
We go backstage to see William Regal walking down a hall before Curt Hawkins steps in front of him. He smiles and says that he'll see him out there tonight. Regal looks up and down at him in disgust and says that he won't be facing him tonight - he has other plans. Hawkins asks him what he means by that, and Regal simply states that he isn't going to face him, he has somebody to that for him. Hawkins asks who that will be, and Regal says he'll find out later.
Non-Title Singles Match Layla w/Michelle McCool vs Diva's Champion Serena Mancini
The match starts off slow as both divas go back and forth. Mancini gets some control though as she smashes Layla to the mat multiple times. Layla gets a bit of offense in after McCool interferes slightly. However, Serena dominates with her power on Layla. McCool even gets in the ring but Serena clotheslines her. As Layla rises, she hits a bunch of hard shots sending her to the mat, and eventually hits the powerslam and gets the pinfall.
Winner of the match: Serena Mancini [5:24] **
Following the match, McCool gets right up in the face of Serena and slaps her around. They begin to fight back and forth and Layla attacks her from behind. They begin to stomp down on Mancini and McCool orders something of Layla, and she steps out of the ring and returns with a bag. She takes out a razor as McCool holds Mancini. She kicks the razor out of Layla's hand and begins to struggle out of McCool's hold and fights her out of the ring. She then tosses Layla out. She follows them up the ramp as they run away and Team Lay-Cool go backstage with Serena in their tracks.
With that, we cut to a different area of backstage and Josh Mathews introduces his guest to be Triple H. He asks him about the match this Sunday against John Morrison and Hunter tells him that he has no doubt in his mind he will walk out of Over the Limit a 14 time World Champion. He claims that John Morrison is an easy target for him to capture the World Championship once again, and he's going to execute having what is truly his back around his waist. He snickers and says that tonight, when they sign the dotted line, Morrison is sealing his fate to be the former World Heavyweight Champion.
Triple Threat Match for the Intercontinental Championship R-Truth vs Matt Hardy vs Drew McIntyre©
The bell sounds as Hardy quickly unloads with strikes on both men and takes the opening minute with control. However, Truth gets a lot in as he tosses Hardy to the outside and works down on McIntyre. As the champ and Truth go back and forth, McIntyre gets an upper hand with a lot of brutal shots and slams. A cluster forms between the 3 though, and Hardy almost gets the win with a near fall on Truth. After a couple minutes of trades in momentum, Hardy is hit with the Axe Kick by Truth and McIntyre capitalizes with the Future Shock on Truth and gets the pinfall.
Winner and still Intercontinental Champion: Drew McIntyre [9:15] **3/4
After the match, McIntyre taunts with the title and makes his way backstage. Hardy gets to his feet in anger and turns to Truth with a crazed look in his eyes. As soon as Truth gets to his feet, he hits the Twist of Fate and begins to strike down on him. After a while, he stops and helps Truth to his feet and apologizes. But the strangeness with Hardy continues as he tosses Truth to the outside and continues to beat him down until they go off to the side of the ramp and make their way backstage, Hardy just completely beating the hell out of Truth. Referees end up coming and separating it.
Ted DiBiase then makes his way down to the ring with his old "Priceless" music to a good pop. He gets on the mic and says that it has been quite a year for him, but as he did win the Royal Rumble - he did not win the WWE Championship. He says it was all thanks to Cody Rhodes on both occasions, as he was the one pinned at WrestleMania and out of jealousy, he cost him the match at Extreme Rules. He snickers and says that this Sunday though, he will get his revenge on Cody and send him on Dream Street. Cody Rhodes has heard enough of it already as he comes down to the ring. He speaks to Ted and says over the past few weeks it's about time they speak face to face because all it has been is beat downs. He says that he feels that Ted needs some help - because he is obviously having memory loss because it was because he sacrificed himself at the Royal Rumble that Ted ended up winning it. He says that the only reason him and Randy wanted him out of Legacy in the first place was so he could make it on his own. Ted says he is full of it, he knows that they wanted him out of Legacy because they knew he would make it on his own and were afraid he would be leading Legacy in the end. He then points out that at Royal Rumble, that he didn't allow him to eliminate him, he just failed. DiBiase claims that he is on the road to becoming a world champion, and regardless of when that time comes it will be before Cody even gets another shot at the title. Rhodes begins to speak again, but stops himself and kicks DiBiase in the gut. He goes for the Cross Rhodes but DiBiase pushes him off to the ropes and goes towards him, but Rhodes slips out of the ring and quickly scurries up the ramp. DiBiase yells at him to come back, but he just keeps backing away until he gets to the top of the ramp and storms backstage. DiBiase looks around the arena in disappointment before stepping out of the ring and making his way towards backstage, now seeming in frustration with Rhodes.
We then cut to a video promoting Saturday Night's Main Event for this Saturday, May 22.
We return, and Curt Hawkins is already in the ring. He jogs in place waving to the crowd with a grin across his face. William Regal makes his way out to the ramp in a suit and looks down to the ring at Hawkins. He gets on the mic and says he said to him earlier he would not be competing, but rather he would have somebody else doing that for him. He says that this man is somebody who just like him, shows no mercy for an opponent and will represent England and destroy anybody who thinks otherwise towards his goal of becoming the best in the WWE, Wade Barrett. Barrett comes down to the ring with a grin across his face, Hawkins seeming unphased by his 6 Foot 5, 265 Pound stature and gets prepared for this match.
Singles Match Wade Barrett w/William Regal vs Curt Hawkins
The bell rings and Hawkins comes running right at Barrett only to be dropped with a big boot. He gets to his feet and is quickly dropped down again. Barrett shows no mercy with tons of strikes and slams for the next minute, and delivers a series of powerbombs to show off his strength. Things stay in his favor as he just brutalizes Hawkins, and eventually finishes him with a hard powerslam and gets the final 3 count.
Winner of the match: Wade Barrett [3:31] *1/2
Following the match, Barrett taunts to the crowd as Regal applauds him and raises his hand high. They look down at the out cold Hawkins and laugh at it, Regal saying that Barrett is the future of the WWE, as he smirks at the comments made by his, what appears to be, now mentor.
We then cut backstage to see Ted DiBiase laid out in a hallway with referees and paramedics surrounding him. They are requesting for more help as Cody Rhodes walks in and asks what the hell happened. Teddy Long steps into the scene and accuses Cody of doing this himself and tells him to stop playing dumb, and Cody says he doesn't need to weaken his opponents before he faces them, he didn't do this. He claims whoever did do this obviously has a problem with Ted, just as much as he does. He begins to walk off, but plows through the medics and referees and yanks Ted up and delivers the Cross Rhodes onto the hard floor. He gets back up with a grin as the referees hold him back and he tells Teddy now he has done something.
Singles Match Big Show vs Vladimir Kozlov
The bell rings and both men unload back and forth with fury. Show takes control though with a huge headbutt and a bunch of hard shots to send Kozlov down. They slowly go back and forth again, this time with Kozlov getting some control. However, after a few minutes of unsuccessfully taking Show down, Kozlov is dropped with a chokeslam, and as he rises is dropped hard with the Knockout Punch. Show gets the 3 count on the pin attempt.
Winner of the match: Big Show [6:44] **
After the match, Chris Jericho makes his way out to the ramp. He gets on the mic and says that he isn't going to come down to the ring this week and beat down Big Show once again, but instead he is going to give a final word of advice - back out now or be destroyed on Sunday. Show motions for him to come down to the ring but Jericho doesn't, and walks backstage leaving Show in anger.
We go backstage to see Josh Mathews again, and he introduces his guest this time to be the World Heavyweight Champion, John Morrison. He asks Morrison his thoughts on this Sunday, and Morrison says he heard what Triple H said earlier - and quite honestly, he doesn't agree with him. He says he will not be sealing his fate to be known as the former World Champion, but he will be sealing his fate to be known as the guy who defeated Triple H at Over the Limit in what is surely to be a great match for him, but embarrassing for Triple H, to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. He smirks and walks off.
An advertisement for Smackdown this Friday featuring a huge main event with John Morrison and Big Show to take on Randy Orton and Chris Jericho!
We come back and General Manager Teddy Long makes his way down to the ring. He gets on the mic as the ring is all set up with a contract on a table and chairs on either side and he speaks to the crowd saying that this Sunday at Over the Limit, for the World Heavyweight Championship, it will be John Morrison defending against Triple H. He explains that right now will be the official contract signing for the match, and introduces first the challenger, Triple H. The crowd boo him heavily as he gets into the ring ignoring Teddy's offer of a handshake and just tells him to "get that punk" out here. Teddy sighs and introduces the champion, John Morrison. The crowd pop loudly for him as he gets down to the ring and he stays having a staredown with Triple H after shaking Teddy's hand. He eventually sits down and asks Hunter if he has any words to say to his face now. Triple H stays quiet and Morrison mocks his facial expression, asking what's the matter - is he intimidated by the man he knows will beat him this Sunday. Hunter slowly speaks up and says that he should be intimidated of him - the 13 time World Champion, somebody with more experience and a better career then he has, and ever will, have. He then takes the contract glaring at Morrison, and quickly goes ahead and signs it and pushes it across. Morrison snickers and thumbs through the pages of the contract slowly and casually, kicking his feet up on the table. He nods at certain things and Hunter gets tired of waiting, and rises to his feet swiping the champions feet off the table - causing him to jump right up to his feet as well. They stare down and Morrison goes ahead and signs the contract, handing it over to Teddy. They continue to stare down and Morrison breaks the silence saying that he is going to say the same thing he said to CM Punk before he went and won the World Heavyweight Championship from him at WrestleMania - one of them is going to end up snapping on the other soon enough, so he might as well be the one to do it. He dives over the table at Hunter and they begin to strike along the ring. Teddy quickly gets out of the ring as they take off their jackets and continue to unload. Morrison takes a huge amount of control, but is pushed into the table by Triple H and as he comes back is lifted up and dropped through the table with a huge spinebuster. The crowd boo as Hunter raises the World Heavyweight Championship over Morrison to end Raw.

Smackdown – I like the Straight Edge Society kicking off the show. Punk ripping on the New York crowd was humorous. I like how twisted Punk is and I really love this feud with Randy Orton. I take Bryan Danielson over Carlito so I am satisfied to see him win. I kind of dig that there are two back to back matches as it keeps the action exciting. I am a huge Chris Masters mark so I was sad to see him lose; however, MVP winning makes a lot more sense. I am unsure about how I feel about Batista possibly feuding with MVP over the US Title, seems a tad unrealistic. I like what you are doing with Abe Washington, seems different. Edge defeating D.H Smith is fine, but I would have liked to see Smith win since the Harts are chasing the belts. Man, Smackdown is really packed with actions; however, I feel some segments would be better to start advancing more storylines. Tag Team Match - Kofi Kingston vs Rey Mysterio I thought that was a funny typo you had there. Kofi over Rey is great in my eyes. Sheamus attacking Kofi sounds excellent to me. I really do not think I ever have seen a Diva squash a local before haha. I like that you used the squash match to advance Maryse versus Beth. Randy Orton winning the match obviously makes sense, but it would be awesome to see Swagger hold both the US and WWE Championship. I love the SES getting involved afterwards. Orton and Punk are putting on a great feud.
Raw reply coming soon...

-Decent opening promo. Don't like Miz is getting over Cena so much. It makes him look stupid. -Christian beating Smith is fine after what happened like week. Good call. -Mancini beating Layla was good. It was predicted as well. -Drew McIntyre retaining the IC Title was good too. Any one of them winning is fine. -Barrett beating Hawkins was okay. Hope Hawkins gets a great push in his Hawk gimmick. -Show beating Kozlov is cool. -Intense ending here. Liked the Contract Signing alot. HHH standing tall is amazing.
-Good RAW. Not alot of top notch matches. Like the ending. -Could you reply to WWE 2010?

Behind Raw's Card A tough night was in store for the WWE Roster, especially the Raw roster, on Monday as they taped Saturday Night's Main Event just 2 hours before Raw began. Therefore explaining the reason for not so many big matches taking place on Raw, but more promos then usual.
King of the Ring Scrapped, Moved to Raw King of the Ring has been scrapped as a PPV, and will be moved to a later date on Raw for a single night tournament.
The Miz's Reign as MITB The Miz is apparently set up to not be holding onto Money in the Bank much longer, as he is currently up in the top 5 heels in the WWE currently.

Raw, great opening segment, I love what you're doing with this Cena/Miz feud. Glad that Christian got the victory here, however, I hope to see The Hart Dynasty take the belts soon. Surely their mentor is Bret Hart, or maybe Jim Neidhart, I don't know. Pleased to see Serena with a victory as she is the Divas Champion. Happy that McIntyre retained the Intercontinental Championship here, I don't think R-Truth and Hardy are ready just yet, they need building back up first. Good segment with the former Legacy. Love this introduction of Wade Barrett, great to pair him with Regal. Obvious victory for the Big Show here, looking forward to his battle with Jericho. Great way to close the show with the Contract Signing. I hope that John Morrison retains the World Heavyweight Championship as a victory over Triple H would definitely increase his credibility as Champion. Good Raw.

John Cena starting off the show with a strong promo is fine, although is jackass PG? I love how you have made the Miz a top heel – that is brilliant. Miz leaving Cena leveled out in the center of the ring is great, and a solid way to continue their feud. I dislike that the T-Long, Edge and Christian segment was directly followed by Smith versus Christian. I think you could have spaced that out a little bit. I am pleased that the Harts left with the momentum tonight. I wonder who Regal is going to have replace him to face off against Hawkins. Decent Triple H promo to continue his feud with John Morrison, but I really hope Morrison retains at the event. Drew holding on to the title makes a lot of sense because he is running strong with it. The Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes feud is beyond brilliant. You have just been executing it greatly and I am excited to see where and how it ends. Wade defeating Hawkins is fine. Wade can really be a dominant force in WWE. I love Cody destroying Ted in the back. Show versus Vladimir would be a slow match and I would have put it on a lot earlier. This Chris Jericho and Big Show feud is rather fun. I like Morrison’s promo, it gets the job done. Hunter putting Morrison through the table to continue their feud was wise, although I really hope Morrison retains.
Overall, I enjoyed Smackdown a lot more. This show seemed way too short to be anywhere near three hours. I also thought all the matches were pretty weak; however, you did continue your feuds well going into Over the Limit.

WWE SmackDown: Friday 14th May 2010...Decent promo to kick off SmackDown this week, with the Straight Edge Society in the ring, a decent promo basically focusing about Randy Orton and the WWE Championship. Only thing is, if CM Punk and the Straight Edge Society were to cut a promo as the show began, then a match usually follows. Especially when the promo goes uninterrupted. It did serve purpose, anyway. Bryan Danielson not being taken seriously by all SmackDown superstars makes it more dramatic for Danielson to prove them all wrong [unlike Benoit]. Danielson beating Carlito is fine, but hopefully Danielson won't win the Six Pack Challenge at Over the Limit. I'd have spaced out these qualifying matches for Six Pack Challenge, but another fine win for MVP against Chris Masters. Not the greatest match in the world, though. Hopefully MVP doesn't win the WWE United States Championship either; he doesn't need it after having it twice before and he needs to aim higher. The hinting of a feud between Batista and MVP is sweet; but the fact these two face in two weeks - after Over the Limit. That will go on into King of the Ring. I sense it. Edge beating David Hart Smith seemed likely; a decent first-hour main event anyways. Edge losing to Smith would be a downer for Edge and Christian as WWE Unified Tag Team Champions; but also for Edge and Christian individually. Great win for Kofi Kingston over Rey Mysterio, but a solid match nonetheless. Sheamus' prescence continues to curse Kofi. Didn't see the point in Maryse squashing a local diva [shame the Local Competitor also went unnamed]. I'd have preferred an actual match here, myself. Lastly, solid main event win for Randy Orton over Jack Swagger. In total, it was a good show promoting the pay-per-view in two weeks.
WWE RAW: Monday 17th May 2010...Expecting this to be a slightly longer show than usual, since that this is Commercial-free. Thinking about it, this RAW being in Canada, it would have been perfection for Bret Hart to make a return. But great opening promo dedicated to the feud between The Miz and John Cena. These two definitely have a lot to blow off at Over the Limit, in what should hopefully be their final encounter. Expecting Cena to win this one, though. Miz has been built good as it is. Ah yes, Saturday Night's Main Event this week should be interesting. Christian beating David Hart Smith is alright; glad Christian beat one member of the Hart Dynasty, but this will mean to make the challengers look credible to the WWE Unified Tag Team Champions, then Tyson Kidd will beat Edge on SmackDown; hopefully if that is the case it ends with a cheap finish. Edge and Christian should lose the belts soon, though; they've done nothing for them other than hold the over duo down. Wait, who is on the titantron? Their mentor? To be honest, thinking of this, being that the show is in Toronto, the Hart Dynasty would have been cheered. Strange situation in Bizarroworld. Serena Mancini beating Layla is acceptable; building up to facing Michelle McCool. Next, a solid triple threat match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Drew McIntyre retaining was perhaps the best decision, since neither Matt Hardy nor R-Truth would be decent suits to the belt in my opinion. Ted Dibiase's promo was pretty nice; Cody Rhodes is definitely the better half of Legacy though, honestly. And so I hope Cody wins at Over the Limit. Wade Barrett beating Curt Hawkins...poor Hawkins. He needs to be with Caylen Croft and Trent Barretta as soon as possible. William Regal coming out to greet Barrett...I like. Barrett definitely needs a push and has a lot of potential in the company. Vladimir Kozlov is basically used to put others over, and Big Show's dominance is building up more with growing closer to facing Chris Jericho, but I sense Jericho winning. Lastly, a solid main event promo with the contract signing. However, five matches on a commercial free RAW? I'd have had six or maybe even seven but that's just me. A match to actually italicize the commercial free factor or prestige, in the main event would have made it better. A good show, but Saturday Night's Main Event being at the weekend really took away from no-commercial RAW.
